Personal Note: So many familiar costumes! :P

Not looking forward to this series, but hope that Sunny is playing a smart role this time around.

Lin Xia Wei must have taken over for Aimee Chan, who was supposed to film this series but was not able to take part, as she is still filming "A Great Way to Care II".

  1. I have a question and I hope that someone can help explain it to me. What does 初五啟市錄 mean? I saw a couple of sites calling it "The Record of the Fifth Kai City", but I see that hyn5 is calling it "Record of the Fifth Day Opening". Doesn't Kai Si Look mean revelation? I'm a Sonija fan so I'd appreciate the help. :)

    1. To Ladybug:

      When I translate titles (for series in which I do not know what the official English title is yet), I use the most literal translation so that it is accurate.

      I translated 初五啟市錄 as "Record of the Fifth Day Opening".

      初五 = fifth day
      啟市 = opening (e.g., open for business)
      錄 = record

      啟示錄 is "revelation"; notice that the middle character is different from the one used in this series.

    2. Oh, I see. But what does 'Kai' mean?

    3. To Ladybug:

      啟 (pronounced 'kai' in Cantonese) itself means "to open" or "to start".

      Side note: The slang term 「Kai」, meaning "stupid", originated from Taiwan. It is often used to scold others, and it can also be used to describe one's thoughts and actions as childish. http://hyn5-hyn5.blogspot.ca/2012/07/sima-sun-makes-sandwiches.html

  2. patrick Tang has been demoted. He was only getting lead roles thanks to Stephen Chan.
