About hyn5

The name hyn5 is derived from my Chinese name Ng Hang Yi. In Chinese, the surname is placed first, but it is reversed in English. Therefore, instead of using the screen name nhy, I've chosen to go with hyn, and the number 5 is placed behind to represent my favourite number and my surname.

The blog title 幸而城 Fortunate City was inspired by the song title of Myolie Wu's 《幸而》.

I watched my very first TVB series at the age of five, and it was Liza Wang and Damian Lau's "Yesterday's Glitter". Just like many TVB fans, I know how to read Chinese without taking any Chinese classes, and I have been blogging since 2006. I may not have watched every series, but in TVB, from leading actors to kelefes, there is no one who I cannot place a name to a face. 如果我唔識你, 咁你都好打極有限 ;)
