Michelle Yim, Eliza Sam, Vincent Wong, and Lee Kwok Lun were filming a promotional clip for TVB's new series "Heart of Greed III". Michelle revealed that she is partnering Lee Kwok Lun this time, playing a wealthy married couple. She is a neat freak who does not like her daughter, Eliza, dating a commoner, feeling that others cannot reach them, and also looks down on Ha Yu running a tea restaurant; however, her husband collaborates with Ha Yu. Is the character an antagonist who is detestable? She said, "It feels as though many people are scared of us, but I have the status of a principal...should maintain some manners".

Leaving Golden Phrases to Louise Lee and Ha Yu

Michelle thought back on having previously played mother and daughter with Eliza two years ago in the series "Coffee Cat Mama". This time, they are reuniting, highly praising Eliza's greatly improved Cantonese. She said, "Last time, there was a lot of Chinese that Eliza did not understand. After explaining it to her, still did not understand. Just filming before, also explained some four-character idioms to her". Is there a lot of dialogue with golden phrases? Michelle said, "Leaving the golden phrases to Louise Lee and Ha Yu".

Vincent is playing the son of a tea restaurant owner, performing a modern version of the love story of Romeo and Juliet, lovebirds who get broken up by their families. Vincent laughingly said, "Very happy to have a group of seniors to bring us into the house. Eliza's Cantonese now is so fluent. Improved even more after having a boyfriend. Has become more mature, and has gained life experience. All the ways of looking at things are different". Eliza praised him back, saying that she has collaborated with Vincent and Eliza in series, and believes that there would be chemistry meeting up again. She said, "Really looking forward to working, will do more research to make the character even more three-dimensional".

Personal Note: Susanna Kwan playing the villain again?

Artiste Sammul Chan accepted an i-CABLE entertainment news interview. During this, he revealed that he previously secretly dated someone in the industry. He said, "Very few people knew about this matter. At the time, really did not think about making it public. As an artiste, already baring it all for the public when going to work. Two people's matter, so certainly hope to be low-profile!" The reason that Sammul only admitted the relationship now is nothing more than the fact that the past love had already passed early on. When he was asked whether he would secretly get married in the future, he said, "Perhaps. I am a person who would suddenly do anything!" He said that he has a cautious personality, and would think before he acts. In terms of love matters, he does not even dare to publicize it. He said, "Back then, [our] circle of friends always thought that Ma Ming (Kenneth Ma) was the most introverted, but I think that I am the one who keeps to myself the most!"

Says Sorry to Friends

Sammul also revealed that, one day, he frankly said sorry to his friends in the industry, such as Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Kenneth Ma, etc. He laughingly said, "In my circle of friends, there's Raymond, Ron, Kenneth, etc. I said sorry to them because, back then, I was a yellow-haired boy who was not smart with my words, and also did not know how to express myself, which caused all kinds of misunderstandings. Thinking back, also feel regretful!" He, who left TVB early on, admitted to being the earliest to 'run way from home', but he frequently runs into Ron, Raymond, etc. now in Hengdian, making up for the brotherhood after leaving at long last. Sammul also said that, in recent years, he has been learning the art of getting along with others; thus, his personality has become more restrained.

Highly Praises Ruco Chan as Being 'Hot Property', Nancy Wu Reveals Having Similar Experiences as Him

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

[103016] Nancy Wu @ 《舊日的足跡》
video

'TV Queen' Nancy Wu accepted a radio station recorded interview. She, who won 'TV Queen' last year, frankly said that the award came faster than imagined, but she is confident in winning 'TV Queen' again this year, and also plans to appear in an evening gown that shows off her figure like last year. Last week, she and Ruco Chan won 'TV Queen' and 'TV King' at Singapore. Regarding this, she greatly supports her partner, Ruco, saying that, in her heart, he was already considered the level of 'TV King' early on, and is also her only 'TV King' candidate. Regarding the two's non-stop rumours because of "A Fist Within Four Walls", how does she view Ruco? Nancy immediately highly praised, "Ruco is very focused when he does things, and is also very gentlemanly. Is a man with good qualifications...certainly 'hot property'!" She also revealed having already noticed him before they collaborated, and greatly admires his exquisite acting. Once the company arranged a collaboration, the two immediately created many sparks. She also treasures this good partner: "In the past, we portrayed many antagonistic characters, so our image was not as 'in house'. It was not until the recent years that we became more and more liked by viewers. Experiences are very similar, so we are also able to understand each other within and outside of the series". Regarding Ruco previously publicly praising Nancy as being perfect, she immediately laughingly said, "It was I who bought him off".

Regarding Nancy previously dating people in the industry, would she be afraid of dating someone in the industry again? Nancy frankly said that she would not. Although she and Kenneth Ma are not suitable to become a couple, they would still care about each other and encourage one another. She, who is born in the '80s, also feels that she has already reached a marriageable age, so she should not be picky about whether her partner is a person in the industry or not when dating. Regarding her good friends, Sharon Chan and Myolie Wu, getting married one after the other, Nancy frankly said that she has mixed feelings, and also envies Tavia Yeung and Him Law having a happy ending after experiencing wind and rain, but she said that she does not want to get married so badly: "It's just that every girl hopes to have a happy fate, but fate...this kind of thing...can only wait for heaven's arrangement".

Would love to see Flora, but she previously expressed that she would only be able to film during the Christmas break and the summer holidays, so I doubt she would have time to film this.

Doubt that Edwin is filming this series, as he is already attached to "Deep Palace Scheme".

Annie Liu, Chrissie Chau, Alice Chan, and Candy Lo were in Tseung Kwan O TVB City filming the 'Sales Presentation 2017' promotional clip for the new series "Deep Palace Scheme". Chrissie and Annie are filming a TVB series for the first time. Chrissie frankly said that she felt happy and uneasy: "Actually, always wanted to try filming palace series. Did not have an opportunity before. Feel that the costumes are very pretty. Uneasy because of not yet knowing the weight of those head accessories, but I will protect my cervical vertebrae well". Regarding Charmaine Sheh previously injuring her cervical vertebrae due to filming ancient series, Annie is also worried about affecting the waist area. May try using a paper towel roll to support the chin to reduce the pressure when sleeping then, and surf the Internet to learn warm-up exercises to protect the cervical vertebrae.

Annie Liu Challenging Fight Scenes and the Splits

Chrissie said that, when she was approached, she did not think of raising particular requests..only thought that the role was very good and the personality was very cute: "'Beyond the Realm of Conscience' back then, already thought that these palace battles were very interesting. This time, I am portraying an imperial concubine, but it is not a historical figure, so still conceptualizing it". Regarding having to face a hell-like schedule, Chrissie expressed that it was okay, and she is not worried about on-the-spot scripts. Annie also said that she talked with them before; unless there are special circumstances, there would be no on-the-spot scripts. The series is using the Tang Dynasty as the background. Will the costumes be rather sexy to accommodate history? Annie frankly said, "I also thought that it was so. During the script reading, saw 1/30th of the costumes...within my boundaries. Quite low-cut, but the TV has its boundaries". Chrissie said three times consecutively that the most important was being pretty. Annie also revealed that, in the series, she becomes a princess in the end, not lacking fight scenes in the process: "Have to do the splits in the series. This is the one requirement for the series and for myself. If I am able to do the splits, many of the shots can be done in one take. At first, I also said I am okay with me hitting people or others hitting me. This is my one challenge this time".

Candy Lo Returns to TVB After 23 Years: Scared

Candy and Alice previously collaborated at ATV. Collaborating again this time, Candy expressed that there was a cordial feeling. The biggest challenge was filming an ancient series for the first time, so she also has to work out beforehand. Does she need to be sexy in the series? Alice frankly said that, compared to other series, it is slightly sexier, but extravagance is the most important. Candy expressed that, after seeing a portion of the costumes, felt that it was very pretty, so she is greatly anticipating it. Returning to TVB to film series after 23 years? Candy laughingly said that she was also scared upon hearing the number. This series also disrupted her plans, even disrupting her dating plans. Alice suggested that she tell Producer Mui Siu Ching to add dating scenes; Candy felt that this suggestion was not bad.

Chrissie Chau and Candy Lo Join "Deep Palace Scheme"

Golden Producer Mui Siu Ching returned to TVB as a Controller of Drama Production (Collaboration Series) earlier, immediately preparing to film TVB's grand production "Deep Palace Scheme" next year. Apart from Annie Liu, Nancy Wu, and Steven Ma, Chrissie Chau and Candy Lo (Law Lam) will also be taking part, respectively portraying an imperial concubine and a high-ranked palace maid. Chrissie, Nancy, and Annie will be serving emperor Steven, in which the fight for favour causes them to fight and scheme against one another. There will also be a bathing scene with the emperor and the concubines; for this, TVB is sparing no expense to build a public bath in Hengdian.

Ant Person Steven Ma Has No Requests

Allegedly, Chrissie, who is filming a Hong Kong television series for the first time, will be taking on many fight scenes. Luckily, she has a kung fu background, so it should not be difficult for her. She accepted a phone interview in which she touched upon the reason for filming: "Because the role has something to execute. The partners are also fresh. Hope to have sparks. (Filming a bathing scene?) Have not received the script yet. Well, TV has its boundaries. Don't have to think too much. Have to go to Hengdian for two or three months then. There are also scenes in Hong Kong. (A high pay to invite you?) Satisfied. The most important is trying something new. (Want a piece of the action at the awards presentation?) Finish filming first. Too early to say now".

Regarding being able to bathe with the goddesses, Steven laughingly said that he received Mui Siu Ching's text message earlier. The content only had the four words 'Boundless Luck with Women' (艷福無邊): "Well, it is time for me to open up myself. (Request to add scenes?) If adding scenes, would not only be kissing. Have to challenge the boundaries of television. I already felt early on that Chrissie had substance and was cultured. (Do whatever you want for the bathing scene?) Would be able to if I were really the emperor. I am only an ant person...cannot make too many requests, but I will also build my muscles".

Candy Lo Loses Out on a Million

Candy is portraying a high-ranked palace maid and battling with Susan Tse. She said, "Debated for a long time. Have not filmed palace series before, and also have not filmed series for such a long time. This ancient series has to film for six months, and also have to go to Hengdian to do location filming for a month. Already 51 years old!" To film this series, Candy has had to reject almost seven figures, but also thinks that it is worth it. She also said that, when she filmed "A Kindred Spirit" back then, she had to choose between love and her career. In the end, under the support of her family, she gave up her career to pursue bliss, but ended up getting a divorce. She, who is back to being single, is preparing to welcome a new romance, but has encountered this series. She said, "This time, also facing the same choice. I decided for myself for the first time. I have chosen my career. Hope to have a good result". She laughingly said that Mui Siu Ching has arranged for a bathing scene to let her show off her beautiful figure.

Louise Lee, Ha Yu, and Susanna Kwan have returned to film a Sales Presentation promotional clip for the new series "Heart of Greed III". Sharon Chan is a new addition to this series, participating in the filming while being seven months pregnant. "Heart III" is using a tea restaurant as the background of the story. Ha Yu is a milk tea king. The entire series is 40 episodes, and is filming next year.

Per Series Collaboration with TVB

Louise, Ha Yu, and Susanna have a per series collaboration with TVB this time. Ha Yu said that, ever since the filming of the first installment of "Heart", a group of artistes had opened a group chat to contact one another. Two years later, they filmed "Moonlight Resonance". Waited eight years before filming "Heart III"...exactly the tenth anniversary. Ha Yu laughingly said that he got into position himself this time. Louise and Susanna also said that they did not ask much and agreed to film. Have confidence that it is a good role. Very anxious to look at the script. It has been said that "Heart III" no longer has Linda Chung, Raymond Lam, and Fala Chen? Producer Lau Ka Ho said, "Don't say it like that. When 'Heart' filmed ten years ago, Fala and Linda were also newcomers, with experienced actors leading them to move up. This time, have Eliza Sam and Priscilla Wong. Bosco Wong is the first male lead". Louise was very happy upon knowing that she would be collaborating with Eliza and Priscilla, expressing that she really likes them.

Sharon Chan Working Next Year After Giving Birth

Sharon is a new addition to "Heart III", portraying the daughter of Ha Yu and Louise. Filming does not begin until next year; she has already had her baby by then, and is able to get back to work. Her family will help her take care of her baby. She hopes to attend to both sides. Sharon has gained the support of her husband. The two have reached an agreement to divide the work and cooperate with each other. When she is working, her husband is responsible for taking care of the child during the night shift to let her focus on work, while she would take care of her son during the early shift.

Personal Note: Would have been a good opportunity to cultivate new, young talent, as most of the younger cast were in their 20s back then (with Linda and Fala being relatively new); however, the current younger cast members are already in their 30s and are quite established. Don't understand why Eliza and Priscilla would have to 'move up' when they have already been playing leading roles for a few years now....
