Everyday you complain, you say men all the same.
You give your heart, up to them, but they give you pain.
Telling me, they're so mean, it's the same old story
I try to tell you, girl what more, but you just ignore me.
*You wish they would just listen like me
You wish they would respect you like me
But there's something that you can't see
The man that'll treat you good, is standing right in front of you
#Tell me what you waiting for
When my hearts been knockin' on your door
Knockin' on your door, knockin’, knockin’
Can't take this anymore,
You let these strangers walk in, and forget about your friend
Who's outside knockin’ on your door~ your door~ your door~
I'm outside knockin’ on your door~ your door~ your door~
I'm ouside knockin’~
Can't take no more, it's killing me, won't play no more games
I want to be, more than friends, but you feel the same
Don't waste no time, with these guys, they don't treat you right
Let me be the one, to show you what, true love is like.
Waiting for your girl to come let me in, let me in, let me in
Waiting for your girl to come let me in, let me in, let me in
Personal Note: Another good song.... This one was written and produced by Bruno Mars. :D
Michael Tse and Fala Chen attended a promotional event for "Lives of Omission". Michael, who shot to fame with the character of Laughing Gor, said, "I will not give myself much pressure. The series 'The Rippling Blossom' that I took part in is the first half of the year's ratings king, so I am already happy. (Want to win 'TV King'?) Too far. (Win 'TV King' by being chok?) Chok was not invented by me; it was initiated by Tony Leung. As a junior, I am only following!"
Fala, who is playing a pair with Michael said, "Michael really respects me. Even the kiss scenes are taken with care so that they are not overdone. I am really afraid of saliva...think that it is unhygienic".
Personal Note: He he.... Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro have fascinating, artistic charm.... :D Still think that Nicholas Tse is the chok-est! :P
Yesterday, the cast members of "The Other Truth", including Tavia Yeung, Raymond Wong, Ruco Chan, Louis Yuen, Natalie Tong, Kenneth Ma, Louis Yuen, Louise Lee, etc., attended a promotional event. It was also announced that last week's ratings of this series averaged 29 points, and peaked at 33 points; these results are not bad. Ruco and Kenneth were standing trial on the stage's dock. Ruco was said to have snatched Raymond's screen time; he explained that the screen time in the later half of the series will fall on Raymond. As for Kenneth, he was said to have stolen the limelight because of his handsome looks; he clarified that he only guest-starred for four episodes, and he was later praised by producer Amy Wong for acting with a lot of heart, and that she would reserve a spot for him in the sequel. Afterward, Ruco and Louis also imitated the court's Lady Justice; however, the others played crazily, as they wanted to work together to remove Ruco's shirt so that he would reveal his nipples. Tavia also stuck a sword in his shirt; Ruco helplessly cried out, "Today is 'The Other Truth', not revealing nipples!"
As for Ruco snatching away screen time and becoming a threat, Raymond thinks that it would not be the case because they began to know each other from the other station, and they also both learn martial arts from Master Sin Ho Ying. They have a lot of chemistry when working with each other. Raymond said, "We both developed the basics. It is time to let audiences become more accepting. Would not be such that one would be good, while the other would be bad. I also would not carry the attitude of stepping on others while doing well myself or envy others. Actually, would not necessarily be one going up, while the other goes down. Since the series is good, it proves that everyone is good. Everyone is happy. He is capable, so [should] let him do it. I also understand that there would be provocation online; however, it is very unnecessary and unfair".
There have also been complaints about actors having lazy sounds in the series. Tavia is unsure whether they were talking about her; however, while filming this series, she had the flu, so she had to do voice-overs for the hoarse parts. However, actors should also pay attention to pronunciation to avoid having a bad influence on the audience. Tavia bitterly laughed and pointed out that she has been rushing to film the new series "36 Hours on Call"; inadequate sleep has caused an endocrine imbalance and a breakout of pimples on her face.

Personal Note: As mentioned in the TVBE clip, Amy Wong said that a sequel may be filmed. Natalie also said on her Weibo that the producer has promised to film a sequel. :D Amy Wong has only done indirect sequels (i.e., the "Burning Flame" franchise), so interested to see how it will turn out.
Ha ha.... Ma Ming was the first one to unbutton Ruco's shirt...such good buddies! :P

Temporary Chinese title: 《天梯》
Pinyin title: Tin Tai
Temporary English title: "Ladder to Heaven"
Producer: Lee Tim Sing
- 30-episode pre-modern grand production.
- The series will be packaged as a love story.
- Because the story requires more mature actors, Moses and Maggie have been cast as the leads. Other cast members include Aimee Chan, Edwin Siu, Benjamin Yuen, etc.
- Moses and Maggie will play a pair.
- Moses and Aimee will not have a couple relationship, as Aimee will be working on another line.
- Aimee and KK Cheung will play a pair.
- Lee Tim Sing revealed that he is specially using new faces when selecting second-line actors (i.e., not the bunch that he is used to working with), such as Edwin, Benjamin, etc.
- There will be no love triangles.
- Joel Chan will play an exaggerating businessman who does Chinese medicine wholesaling. In this industry, KK is the first brother, while Joel is always ranked second; however, he really wants to be the first brother.
- Samantha Ko will play Joel's wife.
- Mat Yeung and Katy Kung will play husband and wife.
Personal Note: Hope that Lee Tim Sing keeps his word about having no love triangles....
Temporary Chinese title: 《換樂無窮》
Pinyin title: Woon Lok Mo Kung
Temporary English title: "Endless Exchange of Enjoyment"
Producer: Lam Chi Wah
- The story will be about Myolie Wu and Selena Li exchanging identities through a magical web site. It will use a lighthearted way to talk about perspectives on life.
- Originally, Myolie and Selena were people from different worlds, with one being a pretty housewife, and the other being a rich daughter-in-law. However, after exchanging identities (i.e., Myolie goes from being a housewife to a daughter-in-law, while Selena goes from being a daughter-in-law to a housewife), Johnson Li unknowingly gets into bed with Selena, but Selena enjoys being a housewife, so is unwilling to exchange identities with Myolie again. To seduce her husband (Johnson), Myolie goes from being the wife to the third party, forcing the honest and sincere Johnson to have an affair.
- Vincent Wong will play a diamond bachelor. He will use Selena.
Personal Note: It is evident that this series is focused on the two females, so don't think that it's necessary to have a higher status male lead.
(A mysterious minor character changes the destiny of the Qing Dynasty.) Narrator: "Unravel the secret of a lifetime within the Forbidden City. During the 60 odd years of Kangxi's rule, the person who contributed the most was not the Qing emperor or Grand Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang, but an obscure minor character".
Steven Ma: "You can't even beat me. How can you be an imperial guard?"
Narrator: "'The Life and Times of a Sentinel'. July 25th @ 8:30pm".
Personal Note: He he.... Didn't even notice that Ma Ming was in this clip the first time around (just like how Steven's back was only shown in the second promo clip).... :P
Michael Tse: "No ghosts? Then what happens when people die? The triads have moles. The police also has crooked cops. I screw you over, and you also screw me over. Treat you like you a brother today, but treat you like a bastard tomorrow. Sometimes when waking up, don't know if one is a human or a ghost. The road is like this, but how to walk it...really must ask the heavens".
(The mystery of Shunzhi's death.) Narrator: "Unravel the secret of a lifetime within the Forbidden City. The Qing Dynasty's Shunzhi Emperor mysteriously died at the age of 24. It was rumoured that he did not die. Did he really die from illness on his bed?"
Ben Wong: "Emperor!"
Narrator: "Or was it a cover-up?"
Lawrence Ng: "Father!"
Kenneth Ma: "The former emperor, at that time, was not dead yet!"
Narrator: "'The Life and Times of a Sentinel'. July 25th @ 8:30pm".
Personal Note: The promo clips are quite mysterious....
Natalie Tong and Tavia refer to Ruco as 「前輩」 because the way he carries himself is like that of a senior.
Loved Ruco and Tavia's interactions throughout this interview, especially how Tavia kept interrupting Ruco when he was speaking in a rather serious manner. It was quite funny how they were poking fun at each other, even though it was mostly Tavia making fun of Ruco.... :P
Surprised that Tavia didn't know that Ruco was also from TVB's Acting Class, and that he was a member of Hong Kong's Table Tennis Team.
Carlo Ng, Hawick Lau, Deno Cheung, Joyce Chan, and Shirley Cheung also graduated from TVB's 7th Acting Class.
Tavia and Ruco were very serious when discussing the topic of marriage and what they look for in a significant other (even though Ruco didn't specify the type of girl he likes).
Would definitely want Tavia and Ruco to film a more lighthearted series together! They complement each other very well!
Funny how Tavia told Ruco not to smudge her signature on the bottle after he praised the way that she signed it! :P
Interesting how Plato said, "I was wondering.... The two of you... Would there be a day when you announce that you are dating?" Funny because I basically thought the same thing during the filming of this series because of their Weibo interactions.... :D
Personal Note: Since Ruco recently became a TVB-managed artiste, he should be receiving more filming opportunities. :D
(The mystery of Kangxi's succession to the throne.) Narrator: "Unravel the secret of a lifetime within the Forbidden City. The Kangxi Emperor is an emperor of a millennium. It was rumoured that he was not personally appointed by Shunzhi to be the successor to the throne. Did someone secretly change the edict? Did someone deliberately switch the prince? 'The Life and Times of a Sentinel'. July 25th @ 8:30pm".
Yesterday, the new series "36 Hours on Call" held a blessing ceremony. Tavia Yeung, Kenneth Ma, Him Law, Mandy Wong, Candy Chang, and Ben Wong, who play doctors in the series, as well as a group of newcomers were in attendance. Tavia expressed that she and Kenneth are an arguing couple in the series; she will also fall for him, but he unfortunately does not like her. As for Him, he will have an admiration for her. Working with Him for the first time, Tavia feels that he is a cheerful and sunny boy. When asked whether she would be worried about having rumours, Tavia laughingly said that she treats Him as a younger brother, as she likes guys who are mature, steady, and have a sense of security.
The series has used a large group of newcomers. When asked whether she would get really angry from frequent NGs when working with newcomers, she said, "Would not, but would say 'hurry up'". She pointed out that newcomers would definitely NG. She also continually NG-ed when she was a newcomer...sometimes do not have enough sleep, and would also NG over ten times. However, having filmed for two or three days, have gotten off work on time. Him, who has been frequently filming series for TVB, has even more opportunities than TVB's biological sons [i.e., TVB-managed artistes]. When asked whether he would become a biological son, he laughingly said, "At most, be a godson. I still have a contract with Filmko...cannot say the term".
Personal Note: Ma Ming and Tavia definitely looked more refreshed at the blessing. Ma Ming had a few days off to do a stage performance in Toronto; however, instead of sleeping on the plane, he used the time to read the scripts for the first five episodes of this series. Ma Ming also said that he ate well, and it does show on his face. :P
Ma Ming and Tavia are always so funny...they are becoming more and more matching in appearance. :D
Wouldn't be surprised if Him did ask the producer to add some romantic scenes between him and Mandy.... :P
Very nice of Marcus, who worked as an emergency doctor in Australia before entering TVB, to stay on the set even when he is not in the scene. :)
