- Apart from having a poignant romance between a human and a ghost, this supernatural series is also a series with a human touch and a lighthearted style. The series is set in a small rural village, where the villagers used to mainly do Chinese opera.
- Owen Cheung will play Ting Yat Chun (丁一駿), a down-and-out pop musician, who decides to move to a small village to live in and relax due his involvement in a song plagiarism scandal. Unexpectedly, at the new house, he opens an old suitcase, which releases a female ghost who does not know that she is dead. In order to fulfill the female ghost's wish, he helps her find her former lover, developing feelings for each other while they get along with one another. He originally had the temperament of an artist; however, when he goes to the small village, he is influenced by the villagers' humanity, and his personality becomes more and more amiable. He and Katy Kung have a have a poignant and moving romance between a human and a ghost; they have an intimate dream scene, expressing their love through music.
- Katy will play Chung Fong Wah (鍾芳華), a pretty, happy, and gluttonous ghost who not only knows how to go through walls and spiritual possession, she can even help Owen solve his problems through dreams. She was originally a Cantonese opera fa dan in the '90s who was killed in a fire. Her only hope is to find her lover from back then, settling the matters of her heart before dying at ease.
- Nicholas Yuen will play Fong Ho Tung (方浩東), a man mo sang. He has to sing Cantonese opera. He and Felix Ng are good friends. He and Tiffany Lau are lovers who like Cantonese opera; he becomes a man mo sang, while her dream is to become a fa dan.
- Tiffany will play a fa dan. She has to be a body double and a mover, and she also has to sing Cantonese opera. She has a frank and open personality. She and Nicholas are a couple that is very enthusiastic about Cantonese opera.
- Rainky Wai will play Cheung Ho Ching (張皓晴), a radio station DJ of a music programme. She is a rather candid and straightforward girl. She is Owen's girlfriend; they have many sweet scenes. She also has a romantic storyline with guest star Don Li, even having a bed scene with him. She cannot see Katy, while Owen can.
- Felix will play 「傑仔」, a musician who plays the erhu. He, Nicholas, and Tiffany are good friends.
- Mandy Yuen will play Yim Yeuk Lam (閻若琳), a gentle, plain, mild-mannered, shy, timid, and introverted scaredy-cat 29-year-old who has never dated before, but she really loves Felix. She and Felix are a couple. She is Henry Lo's daughter.
- Lee Sing Cheung will play Fong Suet Mui (方雪海), the head of an opera troupe and man mo sang. He is Nicholas' father; he thinks that there is no future in Cantonese opera, which causes the father and and son to clash.
- Susan Tse will play Chau (秋).
- Lai Sui Yip will play a 17-year-old.
- Sabrina Lau will play Sin Kit Lai (冼潔麗). Her character is involved with a lot of Cantonese opera.
- Yuki Law will play Chow Wan (周允).

Jinny Ng Levels Up to First Female Lead for the First Time, Leaving Hong Kong with Ruco Chan for Three Months: 'I Also Do Not Think That I Am'

Jinny Ng recently revealed on Instagram that she is quarantining in Shenzhen. It turns out that she will be working with 'TV King' Ruco Chan in the new series "Hong Kong People in Beijing", even levelling up to first female lead for the first time!
Regarding levelling up to first female lead, Jinny said in an interview with hk01: "Actually, this time, it is a lighthearted small production. It is a subject matter that I quite like, mainly talking about the anecdotes that a group of Hong Kong people encounter while living in Beijing. The script is very well-written, and there is also a lot of funny parts...there is a kind of feeling that really resonates. I also do not think that I am the first female lead because our main scenes all revolve around Ruco because Ruco is that lead character".
Jinny revealed that she will be away from Hong Kong for at least three months.

While being dispirited, [he] unexpectedly gets appointed to be the CEO of a Beijing branch for a year. 'Yan' takes the chance without hesitation, going up north with his wife, 'Helen'.
On the first day of work, 'Yan' encounters language and cultural differences, and an old enemy even becomes his boss! At the same time, 'Yan''s younger brother and younger sister, 'Laymond' and 'Bowie', set foot in unfamiliar Beijing one after the other for their own reasons, and rely on help from their elder brother and sister-in-law. Later, because of Lincoln Hui's addition, it evolves into a triangular relationship. Lincoln is ten years her senior. She and Matthew lead a group of newly graduated Chinese medicine practitioners. Her role has no action scenes. Her character is unhappy, has a lot of shackles, and is in a rather depressed mood. She has ten years of experience as a Chinese medicine practitioner. She is rather mature and cool.
- Matthew will play Ku Ching King (辜清勁). His character resembles Guo Jing; he has an honest and sincere personality. He and Sisley were childhood sweethearts who become Chinese medicine practitioners together. Unfortunately, he felt that he was not capable of becoming a Chinese medicine practitioner, so he decided to break up with Sisley, and resolutely left Hong Kong to learn Chinese medicine skills from a master; they were in different countries for ten years. The story begins with him returning to Hong Kong as a junior Chinese medicine practitioner, reuniting with Sisley, who has already become the person in charge of a Chinese medicine clinic.
- Ricco Ng will play Lo Yuen Chi (路遠志), a young Chinese medicine practitioner. He likes to tease Erica Chan. The youngsters' scenes are mainly focused on friendship; among them, only he and Erica have a romantic storyline in the latter part.
- Kayan Yau will play Hikaru Tong Siu Kwong (唐韶光), a practioner intern who is highly skilled in bone setting. Her look is of a super Japanese style; she has to have double braids and act cute.
- Erica will play Yuen Si Si (袁絲絲), a registered Chinese medicine practitioner. She is rather tough and strong, and is a top student, so she gives off a very confident and arrogant feeling. She moonlights at Lincoln's clinic. She and Kayan are besties; they were roommates in university, and become close friends who live together when they join the workforce.

The animal-themed series is using a veterinary clinic as a platform to tell the stories of pets and their owners, to pass on some know-how on raising pets, and to let the audience know that raising pets is a lifetime commitment.
- The series hopes to bring out the message that humans should learn the innocence of pets, facing your true feelings and loving courageously. The impacting part of the series lies in the love line, hoping to bring out a theme. Love is actually very simple. You do not need to care about the outside world. Just learn from pets and love.
- Chow Ka Lok will play Wong Sing Yan (汪聲仁), an animal mind reader. Due to an accident, his character gets magic, and can communicate with the golden retriever 「冬甩」 in human language. He even uses 「冬甩」 as a bridge to listen to the thoughts of animals, resolving the misunderstandings between pets and their owners, and understanding the two's needs. Through the communication with animals, he heals people's souls. 「冬甩」 not only conveys messages for him, it also sends love for him. He communicates with 「冬甩」 to help 「冬甩」 resolve difficulties in life, and he also begins to understand the heart of its owner, Lin Xia Wei, causing the two to develop a sweet older female-younger male romance, which is opposed by Lin Xia Wei's father, John Chiang. He and Lin Xia Wei have a light kiss scene, but it will not be too intimate, as the series is mainly about pets.
- Lin Xia Wei will play Paula Kam Wai Ting (金惠婷), a veterinarian. She follows the rules for everything and believes in science. She and Chow Ka Lok have their own extreme personalities; it is hostile when they initially meet.

Filming for "PTU" Delayed to August

Nicole Wu previously got her hair cut super short; it turns out that the reason is that she will later play a PTU in a TVB series, collaborating with Joel Chan, Natalie Tong, et al.
In the series, Natalie will play a senior police officer, while the PTU will be handed over to Nicole to play. Other female characters include Yoyo Chen and Regina Ho. However, because the series crew wants the story to be more refined and does not want to affect the quality of filming due to the rush to start working, filming was originally scheduled to start at the end of July, but now filming will officially start in August.
When interviewed, Joel frankly said that he is not worried about Natalie, saying that she has no problem filming anything now: "She runs a 6K or an 8K every morning. Since filming 'I've Got the Power' and 'The Invisibles', she has started to work out more. She has great endurance!" Joel, who is currently busy filming "The War of Beauties", said that delaying the shoot is definitely a good thing. He said, "Because I originally had to film two series at the same time and would not get to sleep at all. Now, I can concentrate on filming Patrick Kong's 'War' first, and there's also enough time for me to rest and train. It is really very tough to juggle two series. Now, I can focus on doing one series first, and I can also accompany my son during the summer holiday...there are really three benefits". He also laughingly pointed out that Natalie has always been the steel bar type...legs are more slender than fluorescent tubes.
When interviewed, Natalie said, "I actually haven't received the script yet. I am not playing a PTU, but it is also a senior police officer. Would always have contact with Joel and Ron Ng. Aimee Chan Making Series Comeback, Moses Chan Helping His Wife Realize Her Dream

[Moses Chan and Aimee Chan] will be filming Joe Chan's new series in July, and will even be playing a couple; it is their first time filming a series together after getting married.
'Passion for Acting Has Not Extinguished'
Although Joe sincerely invited her to make a comeback many years ago, at the time, she felt that her kids were still young, so she rejected him, but her passion for acting has always been there in her heart! She, who will be starting work soon, has to get used to it as soon as possible, and the most important thing is counselling her kids. She expressed in an interview, "Do have some worries. In addition to counselling them, also have to counsel myself. I usually have a lot to deal with. Have to send them off to school, and also have to look at their homework. My daughter is also approaching first grade. It is time for me to set off for my dreams again. The producer is very sincere. Moses expressed being extremely supportive of his wife in an interview. Arranging the Kids' Schedules in Advance
Talking about the kids clinging to their mom every day, would Moses give them early psychological counselling? He said, "The kids already know that their mom will be start filming again, and are also happy for their mom, but are also a bit worries because, once Mom is not always home, there would always be a feeling of not being used to it". However, he expressed that he and his wife will make the best arrangements for their kids before the series starts: "Parents must be responsible for the kids' daily schedules. No matter how busy the series filming gets, everything must be arranged in advance. Ali Lee, Tiffany Lau, and Mayanne Mak Sing Theme Song for "Walking with You 3"

"Walking with You", hosted and produced by Lai Lok Yi, is launching a third installment. This time, he invited Ali Lee, Tiffany Lau, and Mayanne Mak as guests to go on a journey to find a happy mind. The three pretty girls tried out singing for the first time, singing the theme song produced by [Sebastian Poon], a member of Sugar Club. Apart from their recording scenes, the MV also added outdoor scenes tidbits.
Tiffany expressed, "Actually, the song is super short and simple. Each person only sang a line of English lyrics. Wanted to bring out a happy feeling because, during filming, they said that they would find someone to compose a song for our programme, so Mayanne suggested that we sing it, Thought it was a joke at the time. Little did I know that Lok Yi and the director were very serious about listening to this proposal. Hearing it, it's okay. Really very happy about my first recording". Cheung Tat Ming Making a Comeback by Recreating a Classic, Vincent Wong Uses Geographical Advantage to Play Justice Sung

Since Eric Tsang took the post as TVB's General Manager, he has been committed to diversifying the types of series in order to achieve free expression for the arts. TVB New Wings, a production company under TVB, recently signed Cheung Tat Ming and Lam Chi Chung, and they will work together to remake a new series installment of Sung Sai Kit. The 1997 series "Justice Sung", which starred Cheung Tat Ming and Amy Kwok, can be said to be Cheung Tat Ming's representative work. Back then, the finale's average ratings reached 32 points; the results were outstanding. Plus, this year is the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the series; thus, Eric intends to remake this series, and Cheung Tat Ming is the perfect choice. In addition to performing, Cheung Tat Ming and Lam Chi Cheung will also be serving as the screenwriters, planners, directors, and producers. It is expected to start filming in Mainland's Hengdian at the end of July. It is known that Cheung Tat Ming, who suffered from nasopharyngeal cancer, feels that his physical condition has been good in recent years, and regards this work as a challenge, so when Eric invited him, he readily accepted it.
Excited About Partnering New Lineup
The new version of protagonist Sung Sai Kit is different from the old one. The old version's look was more serious; the new version has a breakthrough, as there will be many different looks, such as pretending to be woman. The entire series is focusing on investigating cases. Since Cheung Tat Ming has multiple roles, he will not be acting as the lead even though he is making an appearance, so as to not be physically overwhelmed. TVB does not want to cause a shortage of manpower by sending another person to go up north; thus, it has ben decided that, instead of Lai Lok Yi, who is rushing to film "Happy Ever After?", go up north, the lead has been changed to Vincent Wong, who is already in Mainland. Fa dan Elaine Yiu, who is also in Mainland, and King Kong, who has been away from TVB for a long time, are also taking part.
Vincent expressed that he had already received the related news: "Discussing the story with [Lam Chi] Chung in Mainland now. Trying to understand more first. He also has good ideas. Since Eric Tsang took the post as TVB's General Manager, he has been committed to diversifying the types of series in order to achieve free expression for the arts. TVB New Wings, a production company under TVB, recently signed Cheung Tat Ming and Lam Chi Chung, and they will work together to remake a new series installment of Sung Sai Kit. The 1997 series "Justice Sung", which starred Cheung Tat Ming and Amy Kwok, can be said to be Cheung Tat Ming's representative work. Back then, the finale's average ratings reached 32 points; the results were outstanding. Plus, this year is the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the series; thus, Eric intends to remake this series, and Cheung Tat Ming is the perfect choice. In addition to performing, Cheung Tat Ming and Lam Chi Cheung will also be serving as the screenwriters, planners, directors, and producers. It is expected to start filming in Mainland's Hengdian at the end of July. It is known that Cheung Tat Ming, who suffered from nasopharyngeal cancer, feels that his physical condition has been good in recent years, and regards this work as a challenge, so when Eric invited him, he readily accepted it.
Excited About Partnering New Lineup
The new version of protagonist Sung Sai Kit is different from the old one. The old version's look was more serious; the new version has a breakthrough, as there will be many different looks, such as pretending to be woman. The entire series is focusing on investigating cases. Since Cheung Tat Ming has multiple roles, he will not be acting as the lead even though he is making an appearance, so as to not be physically overwhelmed. It is known that Lai Lok Yi was originally the first choice to be the first male lead; however, due to the strict prevention and control of the pandemic in the Mainland, Hengdian has adopted closed-loop filming; the application procedures for Hong Kong people to go to Mainland to film are complicated. Plus, Wong Cho Lam had already led a group of siu sangs and fa dans to go up north for work. TVB does not want to cause a shortage of manpower by sending another person to go up north; thus, it has ben decided that, instead of Lai Lok Yi, who is rushing to film "Happy Ever After?", go up north, the lead has been changed to Vincent Wong, who is already in Mainland. Fa dan Elaine Yiu, who is also in Mainland, and King Kong, who has been away from TVB for a long time, are also taking part.
Vincent expressed that he had already received the related news: "Discussing the story with [Lam Chi] Chung in Mainland now. Trying to understand more first. He also has good ideas. "Childhood in a Capsule" Premiering on June 27th

The TVB series "Childhood in a Capsule", starring the artistes Owen Cheung, Samantha Ko, and Ruco Chan, will be premiering on TVB Jade on the 27th at 9:30pm.
In the series, Owen is a KOL in the makeup world, while Samantha is a company CEO, who later, due to an accident, ends up only having the IQ of an eight-year-old; the role is quite difficult to play and is a great challenge. When interviewed by on.cc, Owen frankly said, "Very happy! Samantha and I worked very well on the series together. We both put a lot of effort into it. She really did a great job. It was basically two personalities: an eight-year-old and a career woman. She controlled them both very well. We are both looking forward to the results".
He, who is busy filming "Unchained Medley", expressed regarding the female lead being changed from Ali Lee to Katy Kung, "I am also greatly looking forward to this [series]. After all, Katy is Malaysia's TV queen. They are both great. I have also not collaborated with her in four or five years. We have grown a lot. Hope that there will be new sparks". In the series, Owen plays a musician, so he has recently been playing the piano from time to time. He said, "It was not a very long time, but I also play the piano. Got the feeling back, and because Katy is a ghost, I also like these quirky series genres myself. Really liked this character as soon as a [I] looked at the script, so greatly looking forward to it!"
