Pinyin title: Ching Yuet Hoi Ngon Sin
Temporary English title: "Love Exceeds the Coastline"
Producer: Leung Choi Yuen

- The entire series will be filmed in Cheung Chau.
- Aimee Chan will play a girl who returns to Hong Kong from overseas. She has a Western personality. Because of an accident, she has to stay in Cheung Chau. She and Raymond Wong will play a couple. Because of her influence, Raymond will become motivated.
- Ruco Chan will play a doctor. He will fall in love with Selena Li, who plays a businesswoman.
- Aimee will have many piano-playing scenes.
- Those who can sing will sing, while those who can play instruments will play instruments.
- Ruco and Aimee will jam together.

Personal Note: As expected, Aimee is the first female lead, and the role is tailor-made for her.... o_O

Glad that Ruco and Selena will be paired up! :D Hope that they both get to sing and play instruments! :)

  2. I really wish Raymond Wong and Ruco can switch roles! I don't want to see Ruco stereotyped as a professional! <.< TVB needs to stop limiting their actors and actresses. I have a feeling Raymond Wong is going to be one of those slackers/bad boy again like When Lanes Merges =/

  3. OMGosh, Aimee > Selina?

She must be sucking up to Vlok and pleasing Moses. Jeesh!

  4. It's unfair!
    Acting: Selena>Aimee
    Popularity: Selena>Aimee

  6. I can't believe they're putting Aimee above Selena. To be honest, I don't think Aimee would be first lead yet if she wasn't going out with Moses!

    1. TVB was already heavily promoting Aimee in 2009 (the year she received 'Most Improved'). In the Sales booklet of "Every Move You Make", Aimee's name was also listed ahead of Selena's (Selena was supposed to film "Move", but she ended up filming "Can't Buy Me Love" instead).

  8. Aimee is leading over Selena?! That's outragous! She is not leading material! Is her role tailor-made for her? Another bubbly Aimee role!

    1. According to the Sing Tao article, the role is tailor-made for Aimee. Based on what has been revealed about her role, it definitely sounds like a typical Aimee role.

  9. The only thing I'm looking forward to is Ruco-Selena pair! Ruco and Selena can show their music talents in here!

  10. Adding my outrage over Aimee > Selena in the series. Gotta be an order from the top cos' Uncle Choi loved Selena in the Sentinel.

  11. Selena has level 10 piano skills though probably not at the level since she hasn't practice for a while. I wonder if this series will be used to combat the music series from CTI, it seems to be the case.

    1. Yes. Selena has level 10 piano skills, and can play Guzheng too (which she did in several public functions). Besides she did compose and write her own songs in her free time, like "You’ll Never Know" and "Tell Me" (with English lyrics). I'm pretty sure that if she practices, she can catch up with her level 10 piano skills. Hope Uncle Choi makes good use of her talents!

  12. I agree with pretty much all the comments in here. WTH is TVB thinking???? Aimee is above Selena? you gotta be kidding me. I cant wait to not watch this series.

  13. Sigh... all of Aimee's roles so far are all overly bubbly happy girl or returned to HK from overseas...usually to hide the fact that she still has an accent. I still haven't seen Aimee not be herself yet. Most of her roles seem to reflect what she seems to be like in real life. Oh well I will still watch for the male leads and ignore Aimee.

  14. Additional info: Cheung Kwok Keung posted in his weibo and baidu bar a picture of his character, he's a Physical Education teacher, and they will call him 程sir. He's one the main character's father.

Other characters in the drama are: Susan Tse, Elliot Yue, Matt Yeung. Jacky Wong (Jacky Jai) will be playing one of the main male character's younger brother, I guess Raymond Wong's younger brother.
