hyn5: Surprised that they included this series in the Sales, as it finished filming a while ago. Perhaps they included it for the sponsors....

"Back to the Three Kingdoms"

Cast: Ron Ng, Steven Ma, Fala Chen, Kenny Wong, Evergreen Mak, Power Chan, Lai Lok Yi, Lau Dan, KK Cheung

hyn5: Would like to see this series, but doubt that it will get filmed.

"Colourful World of Sister Fa"

Cast: Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam, Ngo Ka Nin, Toby Leung, Jazz Lam, Chun Wong, Yoyo Chen, Catherine Chau

hyn5: Out of all the series that were included in the Sales, this series appeals the least to me.

"The Boxing King"

Cast: Kevin Cheng, Raymond Wong, Kate Tsui, Selena Li, Bak Biu, Sin Ho Ying, Otto Chan

hyn5: Kevin Cheng already confirmed that he will be filming this series in March, and it will be produced by Marco Law.

"The King of the Phoenixes"

Cast: Jessica Hsuan, Myolie Wu, Sunny Chan, Gigi Wong, Nancy Wu, Joel Chan, KK Cheung, Rebecca Chan, Sire Ma, Macy Chan, Gordon Liu, Kwok Fung, Ching Ho Wai, Ben Wong, Elena Kong, Kong Hon

hyn5: Happy to see Elena in the promotional poster! :)

hyn5: Was planning on translating this, but there were some errors in the description. Looking forward to this trio! :D

"The Gods.com"

Cast: Liza Wang, Wong Cho Lam, Louis Yuen, Johnson Lee

hyn5: This series will be set in the '60s...how does the .com come into play?

"Psychological Warfare"

Cast: Adam Cheng, Moses Chan, Maggie Shiu, Aimee Chan, Kenny Wong, Rachel Kan, Steven Ho, Rebecca Chan, Ram Chiang, Yu Yeung

hyn5: Happy to see Rachel on the promotional poster! :) Also, for some reason, this series has always given me the impression that it is Catherine Tsang's version of "An Uninvited Date"....

"Mahjong Flying Southeast"

Cast: Yuen Wah, Kenneth Ma, Linda Chung, Ruco Chan, Natalie Tong, Kristal Tin, Raymond Cho, Macy Chan

Series Characteristics: Thousands of years of Chinese culture. Other than spreading the four great inventions of ancient China to the world, there was also the national game of mahjong. Playing mahjong not only prevents Alzheimer's disease, but it also contains the philosophical principles of life, and reveals the various experiences of life. This is a pre-modern comedy that is based on mahjong. It teaches the viewers to use the wisdom of mahjong-playing to deal with the obstacles of our time, and to become victorious.

Synopsis: A family that carves mahjong tiles for royalty in the Qing Dynasty. However, the times changed at the end of the Qing Dynasty, and business declined. As the father became older, he decided to pass on the family business to his three sons, hoping to bring glory back to the family.

The eldest son, Chung, enjoys big hands. He craves for greatness and success, and he is also nicknamed 'Strategy King'. The second son, Fatt, is timid and overcautious. The third son, Bak, has a calm honesty. The three of them have different encounters and experiences. The eldest son uses his mahjong skills to pursue fortune, but this leads to bankrupcy. The second son was also in dire straits, so the family immediately breaks down. Fortunately, even when faced with bad hands, the third son uses his persistent spirit to turn a perilous situation into a sound one.

hyn5: This series 'screams' Lee Tim Sing. Wonder if it will actually film....

"Counter Terrorism Response Unit"

Cast: Alex Fong, Bowie Lam, Eddie Kwan, Edwin Siu, Matthew Ko, Mandy Wong, Stephen Huynh, Lee Kwok Lun, Vincent Wong, Kaki Leung, Sire Ma

hyn5: This cast and genre seems like a Marco Law production; however, he is already scheduled to produce "The Boxing King". Wonder if this series has been changed to Joe and Jessica's SDU series....

"The Great Eunuch"

Cast: Wayne Lai, Michelle Yim, Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung, John Chiang, Elliot Yue, Susanna Kwan, Chung King Fai

hyn5: Seems like a Mainland production....

Cast: Roger Kwok, Michael Tse, Sonija Kwok, Bernice Liu, Shirley Yeung, Susan Tse, Ngo Ka Nin

hyn5: Have no idea as to what this series is about....

"Household Army"

Cast: Liza Wang, Bernice Liu, Kevin Cheng, Ha Yu, Mandy Wong, Timmy Hung, Raymond Cho, Angela Tong, Vincent Wong, Claire Yiu

hyn5: Bernice said that two of her series will be airing in December. She's currently filming "Show Me the Happy", which will take over the time slot of "Some Day", and since "Household Army" is the only other series that she filmed, this should also be airing soon.

"Dwelling Choice of Men and Women"

Cast: Michael Miu, Sonija Kwok, Michael Tse, Joyce Tang, Linda Chung, Ron Ng, Mandy Wong, Oscar Leung, Him Law, Yoyo Chen

hyn5: Surprised that Ron wasn't included in the promotional picture....

"Yes Sir, No Sir"

Cast: Moses Chan, Tavia Yeung, Ron Ng, Linda Chung, Ram Chiang, Lee Kwok Lun, Yeung Ying Wai, Law Lok Lam, Queenie Chu, Savio Tsang, Cilla Kung, Ronald Law, Dickson Wong, Brian Chu, Chow Chung, Angelina Lo, Yu Yeung Bak Biu, Fung So Bor

hyn5: Don't know why they used Tavia's student look.... Her wig also looks like Myolie's wig in "Burning Flame III". :P

Personal Note: Do not ask me to translate the information for the other series, as most of them have already completed filming, have been mentioned in the news, or are still in the process of filming.

  1. out of these series i would really like to see Back to the Three Kingdoms,The Great Eunuch,n The Boxing King i have a big feeling that these two series won't get filmed-Back to the Three Kingdoms,The Great Eunuch they r probably just advertisment or just promotions

  2. Looks like another mighty boring year! TVB continues to disappoint me. :(

  3. Very excited for The Mole! As the name suggests it's about spies and undercover agents, in 1930s Shanghai. Hope it gets filmed with the proposed cast!

  4. And can't wait for Relic to air... hope it gets a good timeslot!

  5. To Anonymous:

The spy concept reminds me of the Sales clip with Bowie, Maggie Cheung, and Maggie Siu in 2005. :)
