This was a segment from 1998's TVB Anniversary in which members of the drama team were competing for the last spot for a chance to win anniversary prizes. The male artistes initially played musical chairs, and then the final four (Nick Cheung, Bobby Au Yeung, Roger Kwok, and Lawrence Ng) ate spicy noodles to see who would be the one to advance.
After Roger advanced, he ended up winning the second-place prize, which was a car (in the following anniversary, Roger also ended up winning a flat). Joyce Chan won the top prize (which was a flat), while Wong Man Biu won the third-place prize.
Personal Note: Really miss the siu sangs and fa dans from those years!
This def brings back a lot of memories!
ReplyDeleteLoved all the 90's fadans and siu sangs. It's rare to see a few of them nowadays. :(
Sigh, the old days! we can never go back....
ReplyDeleteSo much fun, love seeing the 90s fadans and siu sangs, it's just not the same now. Haha so funny when Eric Tsang said that the logo is at the bottom of their bowls LOL xD
ReplyDeleteThat was such a mean trick to play on them - telling them that winning depended on their acting skills and then reveal it was about luck after all, hehe.
ReplyDeleteThe 90s was definitely a great era - TVB's best imo, although older generations might disagree, LOL
