- The series will focus on the perspective of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the prosecuting party's understanding of courtroom drama. A prosecutor's responsibility is not to win cases but to bring out the truth.
- Michael Tse will play JJ Kam Cho Chan (甘祖贊), a public-spirited prosecutor at the DOJ. He has a playboy image and is an intelligent lawyer. He is sharp in court but a family man at home, as he cooks for his girlfriend and does household chores. He has a great sense of justice.
- Tavia Yeung will play Fong Tin Lam (況天藍), a Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions at the DOJ. She is extremely vivacious and knows how to enjoy life. Because she has a hereditary illness, the life threat causes her to live an active life. She frequently plays tricks on her boyfriend, Michael, causing him to be caught off-guard.
- Sammy Leung will play Kam Bor Tei (甘波地), a hot-tempered cop. He has a mysterious life history. He is Michael's younger brother.
- Sharon Chan will play Ngai Mei San (艾美辰), a CID. She will use smart and witty methods to deal with Sammy Leung's problems. She is originally engaged to Stefan Wong, but Sammy Leung becomes a third party. She and Sammy Leung will play an arguing pair.
- Louis Yuen will play Lok Tin Ku (洛天古), an oncologist. He is Tavia's family doctor. He has a sisterly relationship with Tavia and Sharon. He has a crush on Tavia.
- Alice Chan will play Pong Tit Sam (龐鐵心), a career woman. She is a villain. When she was young, she was brought to ruin by a family friend but could not get an appeal for her father, which caused her to no longer believe in the law. Thus, when she grew up, she would resort to any expedient, even looking down on the law and making a stand against Michael and Tavia. She treats her younger brother very well; although her younger brother has done many bad things, she helps him by covering up for him.
- Derek Kwok will play Hung Chun To (洪震滔), a barrister. He and Alice will have an ambiguous relationship.
- Patrick Tang will play a restless cop.
- Mandy Wong will play Wong Fei Fei (黃菲菲), a non-citizen pregnant woman.
- Oscar Leung will play Max Tai Yik Hang (戴奕行), a prosecutor.
- Vincent Wong will play a talent in finance. He is Sammy Leung's younger brother.
- JJ Jia will play an abnormal killer who has a pure appearance.
- Grace Wong will play Michael's secretary. She will have a romantic storyline with Michael and Louis.
- Mary Hon will play a judge. She is Vincent's mother.
- Ronan Pak will play Pong Sai Bong (龐世邦), Alice's younger brother.
- Samantha Ko will play KiKi Kei Mo Chi (紀慕芝), a silly and naive pupil prosecutor. Because she has the guidance and support of her superior, she is envied by others. After getting raped by Ronan, she will also get falsely accused by him. She and Oscar will play an arguing pair.
- Sammy Sum will play Wai Tung Hing (惠東興), a gang leader. He is a villain.
- Jack Wu will play Derek's pupil.
- Raymond Chiu will play a solicitor.
- Ching Ho Wai will play Samantha's mother.
- Patrick Dunn will play Tam Seung King (譚尚京), a cop.
- Otto Chan will play Yi Mo Si (爾摩斯), Sammy's subordinate.

- James Ng will play Ng Chor Chi (吳佐治), a legal newcomer.
- Bella Lam will play Hannah, Michael's student. She is rather quiet and conservative.

- Penny Chan will play Ngok Ching Hung (岳正雄), a suspect.
