"The Four" Episode 14

In episode 14 of "The Four", the sparks for the brotherly relationship among the four constables begin to fly! The whole thing starts with Lam Yeuk Fei (Selena) being captured by the Big Alliance Clan (led by Ling Lok Shek, Felix Lok, who killed her father). Iron Fist gives up his position as a constable and charges into the territory of the Big Alliance Clan to save Yeuk Fei. As Iron Fist is saving Yeuk Fei, he is stopped by the evil clan. At that time, the other three constables come to the rescue. Ling Lok Shek threatens to take down the Constables Bureau if they leave with Yeuk Fei. The three constables tell Ling Lok Shek that they had just quit and threw their constable medals (badges). They all start fighting, and Mr. Jue Got later comes and saves all of them from the situation.

Mr. Jue Got manages to save Yeuk Fei out of the Big Alliance Clan; however, in order to show fairness, she is held prisoner at a local cell. Yeuk Fei is saddened by the death of her father (Gordon Liu) and says that she is alone by herself.

Iron fist comforts Yeuk Fei: "You are not alone. (He gently wipes her tears.) You still have me. No matter what happens, I will be by your side to take care of you and to support you. I will not let anything happen to you". (馬明好man呀!)

Mr. Jue Got punishes the four constables for 'resigning' as constables and makes them do regular house chores. First, Emotionless wipes the dust off the tables, Iron Fist washes clothes, Cold-Blooded sweeps, and Chasing Life wipes the boards. Later, Iron Fist chops wood while Chasing Life takes a nap, and Emotionless dices up food and tosses it into the wok for Cold-Blooded to cook it.

After a hard day's work, comes play. A leaf falls from a tree and starts to float toward Chasing Life. He blows it, and it goes to Iron Fist. Iron Fist blows it to Emotionless, and he blows it back to Iron Fist. Iron Fist then blows it to Chasing Life, and Chasing Life blows it to Emotionless. Emotionless takes a breath and blows the floating leaf. The leaf heads toward Cold-Blooded's direction. The three constables show their disappointment.

Chasing Life: We can't play anymore.
(Emotionless sighs.)
Iron Fist: Can't blow it anymore.

All of a sudden, Cold-Blooded unexpectedly blows the leaf back toward their direction (which indicates that he is joining them in their game). The other three constables' faces light up, and they continue with their game.

Personal Note: Ahhh! This episode is so worth watching! All of this happens in the first half of episode. Iron Fist's character 好man呀! I believe Iron Fist is the best character in the series. I say this not because of Ma Ming, but his character is like the perfect constable, perfect son, and perfect partner. The only bad trait they say about Iron Fist is that he is simple-minded.
