- The series is expected to be completed in early December.
- The series is adding a lot of AI special effects, replacing the need for wirework and wall-busting scenes.
- The story talks about the three male officials going back to the past, sharing their modern knowledge to the emperor. Unfortunately, the emperor is skeptical about this, and the treacherous officials accuse them of spreading fallacies to deceive people, throwing them into the imperial prison. Later, an unusual celestial event opens a portal in time and space, transporting the three male officials back to the modern world.
- The three male officials will join a tech company; in addition to restructuring the company and weighing whether or not to return to the past, they must also deal with the attack of Mat Yeung, who also came from the ancient times.
- Edwin Siu will continue to play 「袁都尉」. He has a romantic storyline with Winki Lai.
- Raymond Cho will play the serious and stern 「左待朗」. His scenes focus more on familial bonds.
- Matthew Ho will continue to play 「小李子」, who has exceptional culinary skills. He will have a male-male subplot.
- Joey Thye will play the unruly Yongning Princess who is also brought to the modern world; her arrival in the modern world leads to a series of amusing incidents. She makes people love and hate her. Her character holds the highest status, allowing her to order the three senior officials around. She is useless; she mostly just hangs around the three of them, bossing them around. She is responsible for the comedy, as the three male officals have already gone to the present day and are no longer easily fazed by things. She, on the other hand, is experiencing time travel for the first time, so she is incredibly curious about everything and ends up doing all sorts of silly things. She has a romantic storyline with Jazz Lam.
- Winki will play a beer girl with a righteous personality. A romance blossoms after Edwin moves into her home. She has a romantic bicycle scene with Edwin; the script called for him to hold onto her shirt while riding on the back, but he ended up grabbing onto her hair, just like holding the reins while riding a horse.
- Jazz will play the kindhearted and silly elder brother of Archie Sin. He is the source of much of the comedy in the series.
- Archie will play the second son of a tech company. He is an AI expert who holds the key to whether the three male officals are able to return to the ancient times. He has many emotionally charged scenes.
- Mat will play Wang Kang (王康), who travelled from the ancient times to the modern day. His sole mission is to hunt down the three male officials. He is a fierce, menacing villain, but the three are not afraid of him at all. In the middle, he becomes a triad boss, a master who kills without leaving a trace. He has many action scenes. He does not have comedic scenes.
- Wai Ka Hung will continue to play Wan Wai Tai (溫偉泰).
- Irina Tang will play Winki's colleague at the bar where they work.
- Chloe Leung will play Winki's colleague at the bar where they work.
