"Can't Buy Me Love" Promotional Clip 1

Narrator: "Fighting for glory. Fighting for favour. Engaging in deceit. The grander version of the crew of 'Beyond the Realm of Conscience' and the extremely grand cast create a hilarious comedy. August 23rd @ 9:30pm. 'Can't Buy Me Love'!"

Charmaine Sheh: "Unruly person, get lost!"

Personal Note: I don't like how TVB used "Beyond" to promote this series, especially when this is an entirely different series.

  1. Actually, I read some where that this is somewhat Beyond The Realm of Conscience 2, if I remembered correctly

  2. the only similarities between the two is SOME of the cast members are the same...other than that, that's it...so it's not really BTROC 2

  3. haha. that and the costumes are recycled from BTROC

  4. To Anonymous:

TVB just referred to it as "Beyond II" initially because it is by the same producer, and has a similar cast.

    To Rachel:

Also, the screenwriters are different from "Beyond".

    To Anonymous:

One of the reasons why Mui Siu Ching did another ancient series after "Beyond" is to reuse the costumes so, the costumes will not go to waste.

  5. It's obvious that TVB wants Beyond's fans to anticipate its sequel. TVB often recycles the cast, but the storyline is totally different (Rosey Business 2).

  6. To Anonymous:

Yes, TVB will also use "Rosy" to promote "Righteous".
