Personal Note: Since when is there dialogue in TVB's openings? ("A Handful of Love" does not count.) Is TVB trying to popularize the 'golden sayings' used in the series?

wow, that's a different opening. kinda weird. and you know what else would be weird? bosco and myolie in a series together but not together in it. hehe..

ReplyDeleteTo cx839: Yes, both series are produced by Amy Wong Sam Wai. I've never seen "Last One Standing", but I don't think there is dialogue in the 1 minute opening.
There is. Kevin shouts out something along the lines of "It was you who gave me this!" and then there was Elaine yelling "Mum!"
ReplyDeleteAre you sure that wasn't a promotional clip and not the opening video? I don't remember any dialogue in the video. Do you have a link?
ReplyDeleteFor example, the opening for Episode 16 has lines from Kevin and Elaine. Another example, Episode 19 has just Kevin saying it. It varies depending on the episode but there is dialogue.
ReplyDeleteSo, there is dialogue only in a few of the openings? Maybe that is why I'm not counting it. I was thinking about consistency. But like you said, same producer will do the same thing. :)
