- This lighthearted romantic comedy is packaged with pets, with a veterinary clinic as its backgound. The animal-themed series is using a veterinary clinic as a platform to tell the stories of pets and their owners, to pass on some know-how on raising pets, and to let the audience know that raising pets is a lifetime commitment.
- The series hopes to bring out the message that humans should learn the innocence of pets, facing your true feelings and loving courageously. The impacting part of the series lies in the love line, hoping to bring out a theme. Love is actually very simple. You do not need to care about the outside world. Just learn from pets and love.
- Chow Ka Lok will play Wong Sing Yan (汪聲仁), an animal mind reader. Due to an accident, his character gets magic, and can communicate with the golden retriever 「冬甩」 in human language. He even uses 「冬甩」 as a bridge to listen to the thoughts of animals, resolving the misunderstandings between pets and their owners, and understanding the two's needs. Through the communication with animals, he heals people's souls. 「冬甩」 not only conveys messages for him, it also sends love for him. He communicates with 「冬甩」 to help 「冬甩」 resolve difficulties in life, and he also begins to understand the heart of its owner, Lin Xia Wei, causing the two to develop a sweet older female-younger male romance, which is opposed by Lin Xia Wei's father, John Chiang. He and Lin Xia Wei have a light kiss scene, but it will not be too intimate, as the series is mainly about pets.
- Lin Xia Wei will play Paula Kam Wai Ting (金惠婷), a veterinarian. She follows the rules for everything and believes in science. She and Chow Ka Lok have their own extreme personalities; it is hostile when they initially meet.
- John will play a psychologist. He has a May-December romance with Sandy Leung.
- Tsui Wing will play To Chi Tak (杜志德), the boss of a veterinary clinic.
- Kelly Gu will play Bianca Chin Man Lei (錢敏莉), an extremely obstinate and headstrong pampered girl from a rich family. She has a romantic storyline with Chow Ka Lok, and will exact revenge due to hatred caused by love.
- Sandy will play Yumi Tsui Chi Wing (徐之穎).
- Frankie Choi will play Choi Chu On (蔡儲安), an assistant nurse. He is also called 「安哥」.
- Roxanne Ho will play a veterinary nurse who works under Lin Xia Wei.
- Purple Ng will play a pregnant woman. She has a romantic syoryline with Anthony Chow.
- Carina Leung will play Kelly's bestie. She is rich and rather mean, but she is really good friends with Kelly and would help her.
- Vincent Choi will play Cheuk Chun Hei (卓俊熙), a prosecutor.
