- The series is using Chinese medicine as its protagonist, depicting a group of young people embarking on a professional Chinese medicine road, working hard and supporting one another with the goal of co-founding a new Chinese medicine clinic.
- The foundation of the story is human emotions. The plot cannot do without the relationship between doctors and patients, creating many touching stories.
- Sisley Choi will play Ching Ka Ying (程嘉應), a registered Chinese medicine practitioner. She and Matthew Ho were childhood sweethearts who become Chinese medicine classmates when they grow up, and later meeting again at the workplace. Later, because of Lincoln Hui's addition, it evolves into a triangular relationship. Lincoln is ten years her senior. She and Matthew lead a group of newly graduated Chinese medicine practitioners. Her role has no action scenes. Her character is unhappy, has a lot of shackles, and is in a rather depressed mood. She has ten years of experience as a Chinese medicine practitioner. She is rather mature and cool.
- Matthew will play Ku Ching King (辜清勁). His character resembles Guo Jing; he has an honest and sincere personality. He and Sisley were childhood sweethearts who become Chinese medicine practitioners together. Unfortunately, he felt that he was not capable of becoming a Chinese medicine practitioner, so he decided to break up with Sisley, and resolutely left Hong Kong to learn Chinese medicine skills from a master; they were in different countries for ten years. The story begins with him returning to Hong Kong as a junior Chinese medicine practitioner, reuniting with Sisley, who has already become the person in charge of a Chinese medicine clinic.
- Ricco Ng will play Lo Yuen Chi (路遠志), a young Chinese medicine practitioner. He likes to tease Erica Chan. The youngsters' scenes are mainly focused on friendship; among them, only he and Erica have a romantic storyline in the latter part.
- Kayan Yau will play Hikaru Tong Siu Kwong (唐韶光), a practioner intern who is highly skilled in bone setting. Her look is of a super Japanese style; she has to have double braids and act cute.
- Erica will play Yuen Si Si (袁絲絲), a registered Chinese medicine practitioner. She is rather tough and strong, and is a top student, so she gives off a very confident and arrogant feeling. She moonlights at Lincoln's clinic. She and Kayan are besties; they were roommates in university, and become close friends who live together when they join the workforce.
- Danny Hung will play Pang Ching Mong (彭晴望), a young registered Chinese medicine practitioner.
- Lincoln will play a rich Chinese medicine practitioner. He has good feelings toward Sisley; he gets involved in Matthew and Sisley's relationship. Erica is his subordinate.
- Susan Tse will play a famous doctor. She is Ricco's maternal grandmother.
- Albert Cheung will play Ricco's maternal grandfather.
- Fabienne Kwan will play a Chinese medicine apprentice. She is an osteopath.
- Leonard Cheng will play a doctor who practices Western medicine. At first, he is not very knowledgable about Chinese medicine, so he looks down on those who practice it; however, he slowly comes to understand it, so he collaborates with them.
- Eva Lai will play Sisley's mother.
- Mark Lee will play a young Chinese medicine practitioner.
- Mina Kwok will play Michelle.
- Gary Chan will play Sisley's father.
- Stephanie Au gets forced by a gangster into taking nude photos. She has a tragic romantic storyline with Danny; they have a kiss scene.
- Carman Kwan will play a person with spasms in one of the cases. She has a fierce personality. She is an athlete, but she suddenly contracts a serious illness, and she cannot accept it.
- Fion Yung will play 「林社工」.
- Brian Tse will guest-star as a rich guy.
