Confirmed Cast: Sheren Tang, Wayne Lai, Susan Tse, Kara Hui, Elliot Yue, Nancy Wu, and Ngo Ka Nin.
Filming will begin in March 2010.
Genre: War 1936-1945
- Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai's characters will both be good and evil.
- Sheren will play a reactionary gang leader.
- Nancy Wu will play a big villain, and will have many scenes with Sheren Tang.
- Ron Ng and Suki Chui will not join the series, but Fala Chen and Raymond Wong will be added to the cast.
Personal Note: Lee Tim Sing and his crew had over six months of planning for this series. :)

Interesting! Raymond Wong gets to pair up w another Fa Dan! Lucky guy. Ever since he join TVB, he gets to pair up with Myolie, Bernice, Charmaine, Tavia, Vivien, Kate and now it's Fala's turn. Cant wait for March.

But I feel that his roles in Leung Choi Yuen series is too sidekick/buddy feel, for the sake of supporting role only.

ReplyDeleteI see what you mean. His characters in Leung Choi Yuen series do not have "fat fai". In "Salt", his character was supposed to die before half way through the series, but he ended up dying in the second last ep.
If Raymond is in here, I wonder who will have more screen-time, him or Ngo Ka Nin? It says that Ka Nin will have screen-time in here compared to "Rosy". But I swear he come out a lot in "Rosy". How much more is more screen-time? Ha ha.... :)
I'm not sure. Ka Nin received more exposure after Rosy was aired. If he is going to be a villain again, yes I think he will have A LOT of screen time.

p.s. Do think Ka Nin have a shot at Most Improved Male Artist this year? I'd like Raymond to win, but Rosy cast popularity is going to be hard to beat.

ReplyDeleteI do believe Ka Nin will win 'Most Improved Male Artiste" this year. He is signed under TVB management, whereas Raymond is only a contracted artiste. TVB better not give it to Patrick Tang!

I don't know when part 4 will be filming. :) Catherine is done using him, so I don't see why he would film this new Lee Tim Sing series. Even if he is in it, he would be very, very low, and his character would be crap.
The thing I'm more curious about is, if Ron is not in it, who is going to sing the theme? :)
i hope sheren and wayne will sing the theme song! they sang very well during the gala! xD

ReplyDeleteYes, they did sing well, but I can't see TVB giving Wayne and Sheren the theme for this series. They will probably arrange a singer instead. :)
I think Wayne and Sheren sang great. and lately TVB have had their own artists sing the themes instead of a singer. well some did turn out pretty ok. hope wayne and Sheren can sing.
