Kate Tsui had recently done cover shoots for her EP 《Kiss Me Kate》. Kate explained that she was responsible for naming the title of her EP. She chose the title 《Kiss Me Kate》 because it is the title of her favourite musical "Kiss Me, Kate", and it also has her English name in it. She also expressed that the costumes for her EP will have a Broadway feel to it; therefore, the look is very exaggerating.
In order to make her singer image stand out, her music company has tailor-made bright-coloured costumes for her. She laughed, as her deepest impression during the cover shoot was an extremely big dress. She said, "There is this one dress that is very big and exaggerating. The dress was originally supposed to be held up using fishing wire, but the effect did not look so good. In the end, the staff had to stand behind me to hold up the dress. It was definitely tiring for the staff, but luckily, the outcome was very satisfying, so all the hard work was worth it".
Coincidentally, Myolie Wu and Nancy Wu were in the same building on the same day doing a magazine interview, so they paid Kate a special visit.
Personal Note: This cover shoot was done half a year ago. Kate's EP was supposed to release in May. That is why Myolie is wearing a scarf and toque. Ha ha....

ReplyDeleteAnyway Hyn5, Kate's new series could be a total complete new series. I think it's the Sonija-Elaine-Raymond Cho series. I know this three has a new series, but I read at KA, it should be this series that Kate's in it too :))))

They say it will be a Leung Choi Yuen series with Kent Cheng, Raymond Wong, Raymond Cho, Sonija Kwok, Kingdom Yuen, Elaine Yiu, Kwok Fung, Angel Chiang,etc.
It will be about traffic safety.
Kwok Fung and Kingdom will play a married couple that own a restaurant.
Raymond Cho and Elaine will play a married couple with a daugther.
Personal Note: (Catherine side) Leung Choi Yuen finished up "Legend of Pu Song Ling" around 3-4 months ago. He is going to have another one so soon?
Doesn't Ha Yu open a 茶餐廳 in (Tommy side) Kwan Wing Chung's "The Comeback Family"?
I still find it hard to believe that Kate will take part in this series. There is still a chance that she'll film a cop comedy with Kay Tse and Angelababy.
Oh. So the two pairs are pretty confirm? Now left with Kent, RayCho, Sonija & Kate. I cringe when I imagine Kate pairs with Kent. It's really weird. I only hope she pairs up with RayCho. Sigh. And isnt Leung Choi Yuen's style to asks Kate to film this series, apart from Steps. =/

That's right, "Steps" was produced by Leung Choi Yuen. But "if Kate is firmed to film a movie", then her screen-time in this new series will be similar to "Steps"??? I don't know.
Call me stubburn, but I won't believe it until I see her name on costume fitting. :)
I was wondering what ever happened to Kate's record release! So is it that the single never caught on?

It was delayed because she filmed the movie "14 Blades" in Mainland. :)
