Conqueror of TV - Gallen Lo
Gallen Lo has won the most awards at TVB's anniversary: 'Best Actor' in 1997 and 1998 for "Old Time Buddy" and "Secret of the Heart", 'Favourite Couple' in 1999 with Flora Chan for "Feminine Masculinity", 'Favourite TV Character' awards from 2000 to 2002, and 'Favourite Male Lead' in 2002 for 'Golden Faith'.
TV Queen - Liza Wang
Liza Wang has came across many classic roles in her 41 years in the entertainment business. Her role as Lok Lam in 1977's "A House Is Not a Home" even received one of the five TVB awards for the millennium's 'Most Memorable Female Leads' in 1999. From 2000 to 2001, she won 'Favourite TV Character' awards. She also won 'Favourite Female Lead' in 2001 for "The Awakening Story" and 'Best Actress' in 2005 for "Wars of In-Laws".
Three's a Company - Roger Kwok
In 2003, Roger gained weight and cut his hair into a helmet head for his role as Ting Seung Wong in "Square Pegs". Apart from winning 'Favourite Male Lead' in 2003, Roger also won one of the 'Favourite TV Character' awards and 'Favourite Couple' with Jessica Hsuan. In 2005, Roger won 'Best Actor' for "Life Made Simple". I believe he will not top Gallen's record by winning the 'Actor' award for the third time.
Invincible - Super Trio
"Super Trio" has been entertaining fans for 13 years. In 1998, 1999, 2001, and 2004, "Super Trio" won the award for 'Best Partner' (Variety).
Most Powerful Series - "Heart of Greed"
In 2007, "Heart of Greed" swept a total of 6 big awards.
Most Stars - "TVB Anniversary 1999"
In 1999, TVB presented the first 'Distinguished Performance Award' to Stephen Chow, becoming the youngest artiste to receive this award. In the same year, TVB also presented ten awards for the millennium's 'Most Memorable Male/Female Leads'. The winners included Chow Yun Fat's Hui Man Keung in "The Bund", Damian Lau's Luk Siu Fung in "Luk Siu Fung", Andy Lau's Yeung Goh in "Condor Heroes", Dicky Cheung's Monkey King in "Journey to the West", Lawrence Ng's Ching Chi Mei in "Healing Hands", Josephine Siao's Lam Ah Chun, Liza Wang's Lok Lam in "A House Is Not A Home", Nancy Sit's Leung Yun Ho in "A Kindred Spirit", Angie Chiu's Fung Ching Ching in "The Bund", and Maggie Cheung's Ching Bo Chu in "Old Time Buddy".
