TVB 2003 Calendar
"Hey Ya Hey Ya Hey Ya Hey Ya Hey...." "Virtues of Harmony" continues to air in HK.
"Blade Heart" aired in 2004, but the ratings and feedback were very, very bad.
Lawrence was filming "Police Station No. 7". The series was never aired on Jade, but was aired on TVB's Drama Channel. In 2003, Yoyo filmed three series, "Good Against Evil", "The 'W' Files", and "Armed Reaction IV".
Filming of "Armed Reaction IV". Bobby's "Take My Word for It" placed fifth overall in ratings with an average of 31 and a high of 41 points.
Steven and Charmaine were filming "Perish in the Name of Love". Apart from ARIV, Joyce was filming "The Driving Power" with Adam Cheng.
"Let's Face It" aired in 2002. Even though Maggie had paired up with Joe in "The Awakening Story", I always thought that she was just paired up with him in the calendar because Gordon Lam left TVB.
Roger and Jessica were filming "Square Pegs". He's "Burning Flame II" placed seventh overall in ratings with an average of 30 points and a high of 38 points.
"Lofty Waters Verdant Bow" aired at the end of 2002.
Flora wins 'Favourite Female Lead' for "Family Man", and the series was also the second highest-rated series in 2002, averaging 33 points and peaking at 38 points. Before cutting her hair and before the filming of "The King of Yesterday and Tomorrow", Melissa secretly got married in 2001.
Because of "Where the Legend Begins" and "Family Man", Moses securely won the award for 'Most Improved Male Artiste' in 2002. He was also filming "Perish in the Name of Love", "Love and Again", "Back to Square One", and "Better Halves".
"Golden Faith" was ninth overall in ratings with an average of 29 points and a high of 43 points. Gallen also won TVB's 'Actor' award for the third time (two 'Best Actor' awards for "Old Time Buddy" and "Secret of the Heart" and one 'Favourite Male Lead' award for "Golden Faith"). Gallen was also filming "The 'W' Files".
Filming of "Vigilante Force". Kenix's "Legal Entanglement" placed third in ratings with an average of 33 points and a high of 42 points.

TVB was really promoting Raymond and Michelle, seeing that they appeared on this year's calendar again. TVB was also pushing to have more actors and actresses on the calendar. You see trios now.

ReplyDeleteRaymond and Michelle were paired up again because TVB was promoting "Lofty Waters Verdant Bow", as it aired at the end of 2002. :)
I LOVE "Legal Entanglement". Kenix and Hacken were such a great couple in it! I wish Kenix would come back to TVB for good - I mean, I know TVB is an evil place, and I do like Charmaine very much, but it feels like an entire generation is missing in TVB.
