TVB Accommodating Flora Chan's Return

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

Flora Chan, who is currently taking courses at the University of Hong Kong, previously expressed not being affected by her husband Mike Chung's bankruptcy, maintaining the former lifestyle quality. However, it was reported that Flora did not mind being the second choice to Veronica Yip, returning to film TVB's new series "Aerobic Girls".

Yesterday, this series' producer, Joe Chan, admitted to this matter over the phone, and also said having already discussed the script with Flora: "We discussed it. She has to go to school...said that school starts in September. Our series starts in the mid-June...filming until about mid-October. May be a slight schedule overlap. (The second choice to Veronica?) No. I must clarify this. Flora's role is not Veronica's. The new series has a few female roles. Flora's scenes are written to comply with her personality". Joe expressed that the new series is only taking the concept of the Korean film "Sunny"; the character design will not be exactly the same: "Eric Tsang really likes that Korean film. Hope to use its spirit to create a series that talks about the dreams that a group of female friends had when they were younger and whether they were achieved many years later". Yesterday, TVB executive Virginia Lok said that Flora is not yet confirmed to take part; however, TVB will do its best to complement her schedule of taking care of her daughter and going to school. As for Flora, she did not respond before the article deadline.

Personal Note: Will have to see whether TVB is successful in persuading Flora to film again!

Flora said through her manager that, if it does not interfere with her studies, she would make a decision that makes both parties happy; thus, the chances of her filming seem to be quite high. :)
