- The series talks about a group of legal elites who speaks up for justice through touching cases that focus on the people's livelihood. The four leads, Kenneth Ma, Lin Xia Wei, Cheung Wing Hong, and Stephen Wong, collaborate in handling legal cases; their personal lives will only talk about the four's friendship. Among them, Kenneth and Lin Xia Wei will elevate their friendship to love.
- The greatest distinguishing feature of this series is the convict legal executive played by Kenneth. Legal executives have to help the lawyers get clients and provide them with strategic advice. Whether a law firm is good or not depends on the legal executive; thus, the series is also using a new perspective to create the script so that viewers understand the importance of a legal executive for a law firm.
- Kenneth will play Kam Ping Sun (金秉信), a 'golden legal executive', who is smooth and slick in establishing social relations and specializes in helping the company get business. Because lawyers cannot go out and get business on their own, they have to rely on him; thus, he is actually the financial support of the law firm. He is well-mannered, clever in trivial matters, and keenly aware of the emotions of the judge and the opponents. He does not talk much in court, but he talks about the cases and is the brain power who provides a lot strategic opinions in the office in which there are a lot of legal terms. When he was younger, he suffered an injustice that he had laundered money, so he went to prison and could not become a lawyer; however, thanks to his childhood friends, Lin Xia Wei, Cheung Wing Hong, and Stephen, making an appeal, he was acquitted, but he could not graduate with them, as they became lawyers, while he could only work as a legal executive at a law firm. He and Max Cheung have opposition scenes. He and Lin Xia Wei are a couple.
- Lin Xia Wei will play Tin Yau Ka (田佑家), a rather sharp and unkind solicitor who specializes in divorce cases. She has a lot of dialogue. She, Kenneth, Cheung Wing Hong, and Stephen have the feeling of friendship, while she and Kenneth have had an ambiguity since they were young. She and Kenneth grew up together; their relationship will evolve from young ambiguity to love. She, Mimi Kung, and Bak Biu are a family.
- Cheung Wing Hong will play Ma Wai Hung (馬瑋雄), a barrister. He, Kenneth, Lin Xia Wei, and Stephen are good friends who grew up together; they will solve cases together. He has a romantic storyline with Joman Chiang.
- Stephen will play Will Yu Kwok Tung (庾國棟), a frivolous, 'tall-rich-and-handsome' solicitor. He works purely to help his friends. He has a high IQ but is inattentive in the things he does; however, he would risk his life for his friends. His character brings joy, as he is very cheerful, lively, talkative, and optimistic. He has many girlfriends; they do not appear, but he is faithful in love. The only case in which he has to go to court is for his girlfriend. He has a romantic storyline with Osanna Chiu.
- Joman will play Hazel Yung Ngo Ming (翁傲鳴), a judge who is extremely rational and emotional at the same time.
- Regina Ho will play a pretty and tragic secretary. She is the secretary of everyone in the law firm. She is a very gentle and kind girl; however, many unpleasant things happen, so there are more emotional scenes, but her personality is very cheerful. She has a lot of pretty clothes to wear. She and Karl Ting have many scenes together.
- Karl will play Hogan, a pupil lawyer, but he does not do much lawyer things, as he is responsibe for dating. He follows Lin Xia Wei. He and Regina are a pair.
- Max will play Adam Yau, a barrister. At first, he and Kenneth are a pair of super partners. Their partnership is later dissolved because he thinks that he is very impressive, but others think that they have to be together in order to be good. Thus, in order to prove himself, they decide to develop separately. There are many court scenes. He is also called 「邱大狀」.
- Bowie Wu will guest-star as a judge with a lot of authority.
- Mak Ling Ling will guest-star as a rich person. She is a regular client of the law firm because she always buys and sells properties, but she is an annoying client, so the law firm has to take special care of her.
- Susan Tse will play Mary, a barrister. She and Kenneth are often in sharp opposition with one another.
- Candy Man will play Ma Siu Lin (馬小蓮).
- Eva Lai will play the mother of a big family. She is an upper class person.
- Lee Lung Kei will play Kam Fat (金發), Kenneth's father.
- KK Cheung will play an experienced person in the legal world.
- Jacquelin Ch'ng will play Joelyn Hung Yau Yung (洪有容), a solicitor. She is a marriage celebrant who is impressive in feng shui and numerical fortune-telling, helping people choose an auspicious day to get married, which is an all-in-one service package.
- Bond Chan will play 'TK', a bad person.
- Rachel Lam will play Pui Wing Tung (裴詠桐).
- Joey Law will play a superstar who is rather popular. He has a legal dispute with his ex-girlfriend, as he wants to take back the promises that he previously made; it is related to money, so he has to go to court.
- Osanna will CoCo Ngan Kit Yan (顏潔恩), a rather mature woman with experience. She has the most scenes with Stephen.
- Wiyona Yeung will play Ada, a bad person.
- Terrence Huang will play 「樂哥」, a bad person.
- William Chu will play Alvin Mak Siu Chuen (麥绍全), a barrister.
- Kayan Yau has a lot of gloomy and crying scenes. She and Danny Hung are star-crossed lovers.
- Carmaney Wong will play Holly. She is in a case. She has more scenes with Lin Xia Wei and Kenneth.
- Fei Wong will play Wendy Wan Ka Wan (溫嘉韻), a lawyer. She is Max's subordinate.
- Terence Tung will play Szeto Chau (司徒秋).
- Sky Chiu will play the younger version of Kenneth's character.
- Yuki Law will play the younger version of Lin Xia Wei's character.
- Enson Lau will play the younger version of Cheung Wing Hong's character.
- Liam Fung will play the younger version of Stephen's character.
- Lincoln Hui will play a rich second generation. He is Helena Law's grandson, but he clashes with her because he is rather rebellious.
- Andy Lin will play Tin Hong Nam (田康男), a very arrogant character.
- Rocky Cheng will play a cop.
- Brian Tse will play a villain.
- Erica Chan will play Grace San Ching Yi (申靜兒), a lawyer.
- Stefan Wong will play Albert Sze Yiu Hing (施耀興), a solicitor.
- Kevin Tong will play a rich second generation.
- David Do will play Fong Chung Man (方頌文), a family court judge.
