Steven Ma Blog - Thanks Everyone! (Supporting Tavia)

http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/stevenma_blog/article?mid=19116

steven

First of all, I am very grateful for everybody's support and encouragement. It is rare to be in the final five [for 'Best Actor']!

I have just returned to HK from Vancouver, and I have not had time to congratulate my friends who have won awards. I congratulate all of the winners from the bottom of my heart, especially my good friends! My happiness toward them winning goes without saying!

But, I would like to say something for Tavia. I have known her for many years, and I am certain that she is a hardworking artiste who acts with her heart and has fire in her. Her performance in "Beyond the Realm of Conscience", I believe, has shown a lot of improvement and is a pleasant surprise!

You cannot satisfy everyone. Some people gain, and some people lose. The most important thing is that there will always be opportunities ahead. Gain or loss? The next opportunity...will it be a gain? I believe that it is better to look ahead than look back. Every nominee, including myself, in the past year, certainly tried his or her best. Thus, it is better to happily hold one's head high, and continue to move forward!

Just like athletes' sportsmanship, it doesn't matter who wins or loses; fight to the end!

Personal Note: Wise and encouraging words from Steven!

Love Steven for supporting Wayne and Tavia from the very beginning! "If Wayne does not win, I will terminate my contract". "I like Sheren, but I have to support my Tavia!" It's funny how he referred to Tavia as his! He he.... :D

  1. Nice to read about Steven's support for Tavia. ^ _ ^ Steven is one of my fav. actors. I like him because he's a very ethical and moralistic person. I also find it cute how he says "my Tavia"

  2. Actually Steven has never said he'll terminate his contract if Wayne didn't win the best actor award. His original quote has been distorted by the tabloids. What he actually said was that he would terminate his contract if TVB were to offer him the award. Below is his original quote:
    馬浚偉撐柴九@都市日报 @steven-ma.org
    我可以大胆讲句,呢个奖佢((祥仔) 攞硬,其他人攞就死硬,我都有份提名,无线够胆畀我就即 刻解约,因为今年除咗佢祥仔,边个人攞视帝都会被(观众)杯葛,我觉得祥仔演技有实力。

"my Ah Yi" very cute. And he calls Fala "Mui mui" while she addresses him as "Goh".

  3. why don't Steven and Tavia have rumours but instead, Tavia is linked to Lai Lokyi?? gosh these two look soooo compatible together!!!

    I LOVE STEVIA!!!!

I really hope that tvb decides to release Stars of Love, because it should be a really cute romantic comedy/drama!!!

  4. To dvd:

Yes, Steven is ethical and moralistic. He is also very talented and very poetic, too. :D

    To Anonymous:

It is very similar, but he exact words were, "If TVB dares to give it to me, then I will terminate my contract".

Yeah, Steven calls Fala "Ah Mui". :)

    To sandalls:

Reporters didn't have anything else to write about Tavia, so they made up some news for her. Plus, those pics were taken during "Fathers and Sons".

*****Spoilers for "The Stars of Love". Read at your own risk!*******

******Steven and Tavia will not end up in "The Stars of Love".

Steven had once mentioned that he and Tavia do not have happy endings in the series they are paired up in.

  5. WHAT??!!! You've got to be kidding me! Are you positive? I was anxious on this series with the hope that Stevia will actually have a happy ending together.
boo hoo...this makes me want to cry. ) =

  6. NOOOOOOOOO My Beloved Stevia!!! I actually do remember Steven saying that, but I blocked that out of my brain thinking that Stevia do get together in the end anyways... *sighs*

  7. To dvd:

Don't say I didn't warn you, but that's what Steven said. :) Sorry to have spoiled it for you.

    To sandalls:

I'd still watch it even though if they don't end up. :)
