This year's talent dinner was quite boring and very commercialized, 'hard-selling' sponsor products. Also, TVB condensed the performances by cutting all of them short.
The best performances of the night were by Johnson Lee and Wong Cho Lam.
Cho Lam sang "Wordless Ending" using a female voice and male voice. He sounded so much like the original version.
Johnson imitated 10 singers, Four Heavenly Kings, Leslie Cheung, Alan Tam, Hacken Lee, Dave Wang, Leo Ku, and Chris Wong. However, TVB did not show him singing as Leon, Leo, and Chris.
Also, the media lied! Tavia was so there! She came in the middle of show and sang Sammi Cheng's "Forever Beauty".
On an unrelated note, Ma Ming said that his character will not die in "Grand Entrepreneur", and he also said that "Iron Horse Seeking Bridge" will start sometime in April.

Sure, Johnson and Cho Lam SOOO great! The begin of Cho Lam's song sound so female! Johnson did a great job in imitating.
And TAVIA suddenly she was there.. but how come, on 20th, there weren't any pics of her.. even reporters didn't saw her? Iron Horse in april, but Selena and Kevin is in Palace Scheme and that one starts filming in february, they won't finish that one so fast? Will they be filming 2 series the same time? hahas
omg... MaMing will not die? haha. that is so weird. and is he even evil? like or is he just a con artist. I've learned to take what kenneth considers 'bad' w/ a grain of salt haha.

So i'm confused i read some Raymond news saying that he's gonna be filming Iron Bridge? I thought he was out?
I was hoping that Selena would have danced at the dinner, but all she had was the intro with Patrick. I don't know why TVB would have them say their blessings together. Selena keeps stressing that she is single, yet they both have Snowy as their dog. Ha ha...
ReplyDeleteMa Ming said himself that "Iron Horse" will film in April. It can be at the end of April. But I've come to the conclusion that whenever artiste say when their series is to start, I always delay it to a month later.
Raymond will not be in "Iron Horse" because he will be filming a TVB collaboration series Shanghai TV along with Damian Lau, Candice Yu, Dominic Lam, Bosco Wong and Toby Leung. Toby said she will be married to Bosco and Bosco's role will be evil. Raymond might be paired up with mainland actress, Yang Xue. She was also in "Blade Heart."
Do you know the song the chinese title of the first song (by Hacken Lee) that Johnson Lee sings ? thanks
