Kenneth Ma, Lin Xia Wei, Stephen Wong, and Cheung Wing Hong acted as the guest performers of "Midlife, Sing & Shine!" and sang 《友情歲月》 with the contestants. They said that they mainly came to promote the series "Speakers of Law". Are they afraid of being accused of hijacking the programme? Kenneth laughingly said that it was not him; it was arranged by Lau Ka Ho, the producer of "Speakers". Xia Wei said that she was happy to take part in this popular programme. Kenneth frankly admitted that he did not practice singing beforehand; after he finished filming "The QUEEN of News", he jumped studios to participate in the performance. Asked if they were worried about their singing skills paling in comparison with the top six contestants, they laughingly said, "Not afraid. The three guys expressed that Xia Wei's singing skills are the best. Xia Wei said that she is not a professional singer...only sings occasionally. She said, "I mainly focus on filming series. Doing [my] part as an actor first. If there are suitable songs, would also sing". Stephen welcomes everyone to look for them to do stage performances abroad.
Recently, there was a video from Mainland criticizing the dull and slow-paced plot of "Speakers" and the fact that it was boring watching Kenneth as the lead again. Kenneth said, "Not clear about this, but I was also previously worried that viewers would get tired of watching [me]; however, I have seen that the response of Weibo netizens has also been very good". Stephen continued, "I have seen that the level of discussion is very high on Weibo; netizens are also able to talk about the plot". Xia Wei has learned from a friend that a lawyer has praised "Speakers" as being enjoyable to watch. She said, "The most important thing is getting the approval of a professional".
