- Julian Cheung will play Koon Hau Yin (官孝賢), the eldest son of a hotel group. He and his younger brother, Ron Ng, are the co-CEOs of 「尚利鋒國際酒店集團」. He has always seen Ron as an eyesore, openly and secrety competing and constantly vying for control. In order to dismantle Ron and his wife's powerful partnership, he announces his marriage to the Hong Kong prosecutor Samantha Ko. He uses Samantha's hatred as a weapon to attack Ron and his wife, becoming the scariest alliance. Along with the strict control of their father, John Chiang, this family becomes a distorted arena, and what they ultimately vie for is a decorated boat that symbolizes their family bloodline and beliefs. He is an antagonist who connects all the characters in the series. He uses different methods to torture people, mentally and physically tormenting his female partners; all the females are ruined in his hands. The relationships among him, Ron, Samantha, and Kelly Cheung are a mix of love and hate. He is very bad toward Samantha, and he does not only have her. He gets entangled among many women. He has some daring scenes, with the two most daring scenes with Hera Chan and Jeannie Chan. His unhappy and distorted childhood leads to him having a warped personality and values and causes great suffering to those around him. He is a hateful person, but he has a pitiable side.
- Ron Ng will play Koon Hau Kwan (官孝君), the second son of the rich and powerful Koon family. He and Julian are brothers, and there will many scenes of conflict. He is essentially a good person, only resorting to tactics to protect his family and using his wife, Kelly, to commit evil deeds behind the scenes. He will only torment one person, which is Kelly. He and Kelly will have more dialogue-heavy scenes. He has more inner drama; there is not much action, as he uses his mouth and not his fist. His intimate scenes are few, but his intimate scene is not shot with Kelly. Apart from having scenes with Julian, he is also working with John and Mimi Kung.
- Samantha will play Alice Hung Hoi Wan (洪海允), a senior prosecutor of the Prosecutions Division. She is tough and cunning and has intellectual beauty. She, Kelly, and Ron are friends who grew up together. Later, Kelly did something that hurt her. In the end, she marries Julian, joining their family war. She gets severely tormented by Julian. She engages in a battle of wits and valour with Julian, and she would coordinate with him, but she would also have her own ideas. They also develop a square relationship with Kelly and Ron, which not only involves feelings but also power struggles.
- Kelly will play Wong Suet Ying (王雪瑩), a woman who has married into a rich and powerful family. At the beginning of the series, she is already Ron's wife. She is a pastry chef. Her character has a complete backstory. She is a bad person, and she goes crazy for love. She is the baddest of the bad; she does things by fair means or foul the most and is the one with the least sense of morality. She has an impulsive personality and action scenes. Everything she does is for love and her husband, doing all kinds of bad things for the husband she loves, including running someone over with her car and pushing someone off a building. The things that she says are really mean, and she is sharp-tongued. She and Samantha used to be good friends who grew up together; however, because she stole Ron from Samantha, they have fallen out with each other. She gets viciously beaten by Julian. She does not have as many intense scenes as others, but she has intimate scenes with Julian.
- John will play Koon Chi Sam (官志琛), the chairman of 「尚利鋒國際酒店集團」 and the chairman of the Hotel Industry Committee. He is the father of Julian and Ron. He is a villain, and both of his sons are also villains.
- Elena Kong will play Ting Lai Ming (丁麗明), Ron's mother. She also the mother from 40 years ago.
- Jeannie will play Sarah Fok Pui Wah (霍佩樺), a reporter for an online media group. She is a character with a mysterious inner world. She has more daring and emotional scenes with Julian, getting mentally, emotionally, and physically tortured by him, and she has more emotional scenes with Samantha. This performance is the sexiest she has ever done in a series.
- Alice Chan will play Yiu King Hung (姚景虹), the vice president of the Macau Hotels Future Development Committee.
- Hera will play Kwok Chi Woon (郭芷媛), the chief reporter of an online media group. She should be a good person. She is very feminine. There is a scene where she and Kelly feel each other out. She has daring intimate scenes with Julian.
- Joman Chiang will play Liu Ka Yi (廖嘉儀).
- Angel Chiang will play Koon Si Nga (官詩雅), an unfathomable daughter of a wealthy Macau family. She is Daniel Chau's wife. She is the Secretary to the CEO of 「尚利鋒國際酒店集團」.
- Daniel will play Tong Chun Yu, a rich second generation who has married into the Koon family. His wife is Angel; they do not have a very good relationship. He has a low status in the family. Angel does not really pay attention to him; they merely appear to be in good relations but are exactly the opposite. Calvin Choy is his elder brother; their brotherhood is rather moving, as it involves life and death.
- Hugo Wong will play a character with a rather complex personality. He has to walk a fine line between Julian and Ron. He is a bit dark. His interests come first, and he would also make mistakes.
- Calvin will guest-star as Daniel's elder brother. He has the most scenes with Daniel; he really adores his younger brother, and he can go against everything in the world for him. He is always mad at Daniel's wife for picking on his younger brother; thus, he also has many scenes with Angel.
- Timothy Cheng will play John's younger cousin. He is the entire family's housekeeper. He is not the most evil in the series.
- Sherman Poon will play the younger version of Samantha's character.
- Wai Lit will play one of the candidates running for the chairperson position in the executive committee. He has scenes with Julian.
FYI: Maggie Shiu has pulled out of the series due to a schedule conflict; Elena Kong has taken her place.
