The new series "The Radiant City", starring Julian Cheung and Ron Ng, who are collaborating after 12 years, has already started filming in Zhuhai. The plot of "Radiant" involves the resentment of the upper class. [Today], the series crew specially selected the Fragrant Hill Hotel, an area with luxury properties, as the location for outdoor scenes, and will later shift to Macau for location filming. It is reported that more than 20 actors, including Alice Chan, Joman Chiang, et al., will join to enhance the 'star' power. A spoiler of the series' blessing ceremony [this] morning went viral online; it was seen that Julian took the initiative to chat and greet his group of partners, including John Chiang, creating a relaxed atmosphone. Apart from "Radiant", he also has to record the Mainland programme "Call Me by Fire 5", frankly saying that it is a great physical challenge...can only do all he can, hoping that both performances are up to standard.

Challenging an Antagonist with 'No Morals'

Ron expressed that he is working with the two goddesses Kelly Cheung and Samantha Ko for the first time, and he and Kelly are even playing a married couple. Asked if there are intimate scenes, he laughingly said, "Don't know yet! Hope so! Previously, she played a pair with Bosco (Wong) in 'Flying Tiger [II]'. This time, it's finally my turn. I have watched the series that she filmed...think that she performed very well. We can exchange with each other. Hope that there are sparks". Kelly is doing a reversal of her previous roles, as she is playing a major antagonist, being described as having 'no moral boundaries'; her performance is highly anticipated.

In addition, Samantha and Jeannie Chan are both changing their hairstyles to match their roles. Samantha, who has changed to short hair, said, "Got a haircut after attending Shanghai's Magnolia Awards the other day. Is more refreshing and helpful in getting immersed in the series".
