Tavia Yeung Is Grateful to Chung Shu Kai for Giving Her the Opportunity to Make a Comeback, Lin Xia Wei Has Many Bed Scenes When Playing an Antagonist for the First Time

TV queens Tavia Yeung and Lin Xia Wei, Director Chung Shu Kai, Producer Kwan Man Sam, TVB and Shaw Brothers executive Virginia Lok, et al., along with the cast and crew of the new series "Darkside of the Moon", attended the series' completion banquet last night. Artiste Andrea So, who had just announced her departure from TVB, was also present. Tavia thanked the director on stage for giving her a good opportunity to make a comeback, revealing that, when she received the call inviting her to film, she was very worried about how to handle the role. Chung Shu Kai immediately asked her if she was worried that she was being asked to film "The QUEEN of News". Tavia laughingly said, "No! I am also greatly looking forward to it, but even more scared about this. I am scared of not being able to remember the dialogue. Ha ha!" She thanked the series crew for taking care of her. Lin Xia Wei expressed that the role this time is very challenging and hopes that the work is able to bring freshness to viewers.

When interviewed, Tavia expressed that the last time she filmed a series was exactly two years ago: "Had a baby after filming 'Modern Dynasty', and then filmed 'Darkside' two years later. (Having another baby after the filming?) Better not! Ha ha! It's very perfect now because kids are also very exhausting for me for the time being. Taking care of children is very tiring, so I believe that the chance of it happening is slim". She laughingly said that her husband, Him Law, would also help, but he is busy with work, so he may not be able to help often. She expressed that, if she encounters a script that is to her liking, she would still film series, but would definitely set aside some time to take care of her children. She said that, every time she goes out to work, her daughter would also tell her to go home early: "She would say, 'Mommy, don't film for so long. Tell Daddy to go film! (Your husband must be very heartbroken then?) You don't know how great it is for him". She feels that males would be more outgoing. When females have children, would want to stay at home and watch the children grow up more. She also greatly enjoys it. Earlier, when her family also had free time, she took her eldest daughter back to her hometown to give offerings to their ancestors and have fun everywhere, laughingly saying that her two-year-old youngest son, who stayed at home, was not dissatisfied because he was able to monopolize the toys: "They would fight over things to play with. Would bite each other, and would sometimes even take out the claws...a great headache". She expressed that she would reason with her children, and her husband would also appear when necessary. She also pointed out that her daughter is more afraid of her father: "Psychologists say that one word from dad is better than ten from mom".

Tavia revealed that the character in the series is mainly about revenge; the intimate scenes were left to Lin Xia Wei. When she was filming this series, "Happily Ever After?", the series starring her husband, was airing, and she was also asked to endure her sleepiness to watch two episodes...felt that the plot was realistic and touching. Regarding her husband complaining that her review was too concise, she laughingly said, "Okay as long as the comment is precise enough. Later, I will find some time to watch his series again to show my support". Netizens did a parody by adding scenes of her performance in "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" into "Happily". She said, "My husband showed me the clip. I laughed and then went to bed. Know that there are many secondary creations of my old works circulating on the Internet".

Lin Xia Wei expressed that this is her first time playing an antagonist. In addition, the character was heavy. As a result, she, who usually loves to laugh and has positive energy, felt as though she had gone to another dimension: "Because the character is rather lacking in love and lonely, when [I] went home, everyone also did not dare to talk to me". Mentioning that Tavia revealed that she has many intimate scenes in the series, she laughingly said, "I have a lot of first attempts in this series, including the intimate scenes that she talked about. For me, the level of sexual explicitness is very high. (To your limit?) I think that it's enough".

Virginia Lok Striving for the Anniversary Slot for "Darkside of the Moon", Explains That Artistes' Contract Renewal Terms Vary from Person to Person

TVB executive Virginia, who is in charge of artiste managment, appeared at the completion banquet of "Darkside". She and the series' executive producer, Chung Shu Kai, were interviewed, confident that "Darkside" is able to become the next "QUEEN". Director Kai pointed out that, in terms of the schedule, will be striving to successfully pass the review and broadcast during the anniversary slot. Virginia pointed out that the anniversay is the most important slot. As a viewer, also want to have this arrangement.

Recently, Andrea and William Chak left the company one after another. It has also been rumoured that Hoffman Cheng's contract has expired. Regarding the loss of artistes, Virginia said, "Can't say it like this. There was some media that highlighted this matter. There would always be departures and additions. There are exits and entries, like Tavia was also previously TVB. [If] there are good series, everyone would also come back to film. Perhaps everyone is thinking about going out for a spin". Regarding it being said that the contract renewal terms are 'spicier', she asked why someone would know the contents of the contracts, and even expressed, "Of course, different artistes will have different cases. Each artiste will have his or her own situation...would not settle everything with one contract. Even if the majority of the students in the training class is the same, they would also be divided according to different results. There would be different types. Everyone's career is different. Fingers are also long and short. Plus, the producers and programmes that work with the artistes would also rate them. We then calculate it to discuss the contract renewal terms".
