Asian Television Awards 2020 Nominations

The '25th Asian Television Awards' announced the nomination list today. Selena Lee is nominated for 'Best Actress in a Leading Role' for playing a Senior Forensic Pathologist in the Forensic Pathology Division for the TVB series "Forensic Heroes IV", competing for the 'TV Queen' award with "The Mirror"'s Cheryl Yang, "The Rootless"' Yogurt Lee, "The Story of Three Springs"' Chen Meifeng, et al.

When interviewed by a reporter from hk01, Selena expressed being extremely surprised: "Aiya...very happy! Because, actually, I was nominated for 'Comedy Actor/Actress' before and have not been nominated since then, so really very happy". In [2014], Selena was nominated for 'Best Comedy Performance by an Actor/Actress' for the Singaporean series "Spouse for House", but in the end, she lost to Irene Ang, who played her mother-in-law in the same series. "Last time, it was already very difficult to make it in, but this time, 'Best Actress in a Leading Role', is also very difficult. To be nominated, considering that I have won. I am really very excited!"

Selena was also slightly stunned because she is nominated for "Forensic" instead of 'Coco Jie' in "Barrack O'Karma": "Actually, it can be said that 'Forensic' is really the most difficult role to play because I had to say a lot of professional terms, and there was a lot of dialogue, but because I am a professional, there would be more emotional scenes. However, from the audience's perspective, would like 'Barrack' more because there was a lot to do. (A booster for the year-end awards presentation?) Well, the contest is not the same. The two are directly proportional, but 'Forensic' had good results this year. Hope that 'Forensic' will have good results!"
