Kenneth Ma Rumoured to Have Good News Approaching and Is Unable to Accept New Series, Joe Ma Making a Comeback as the Fourth Choice

TVB series have been receiving ordinary ratings in the past six months, even changing the focus on the release of ratings results the other day such that a lot of the ratings points will not be announced. Previously, "Stranger Anniversary", starring Joe Ma and Roxanne Tong, was condensed by TVB from its original 25 episodes to 20 episodes and had an early finale in order to go against ViuTV's "Inevitable"; the full version was arranged to broadcast on myTV SUPER afterward. At the time, some netizens criticized it as being a pity, and believed that the actors' efforts were wasted. Joe, who played two characters in the series, had it the worst, as the role difficulty was high, and his performance was also on point. At the time, he was asked whether he was disappointed with this arrangement, and he also simply responded, 'people know the warmth or coolness of water after drinking it', saying that there are always highs and lows in life.
Ruco Chan Goes Up North, Benjamin Yuen Busy Releasing an Album
However, this matter has not been a blow to Joe, as he will start filming the new series "Goodbye, Bed Partner" with Mandy Wong and Kelly Cheung next month. When asked if he has been traumatized and under pressure due to "Stranger" ending early previously, he said, "Actually, I quite like the theme of 'Stranger'. It was also a new attempt and breakthrough in my performing arts work because my characters have always leaned toward tough and uniform style. The ratings of 'Stranger' were not ideal, but under the current environment, the ratings of most of the series are almost the same. I also responded before...have always faced it with 'a normal heart is the way', but very grateful that the feedback was good. During the broadcast, a lot of friends and viewers also liked it and cheered for us". He also pointed out that the script this time is extremely suspenseful and exciting with a high binge-watchability. There is a lot of foreshadowing, mainly depicting the weaknesses of human nature! He said, "I am looking forward to it very much, and the first time I worked with Mandy was almost 14 or 15 years ago in 'When Easterly Showers Fall on the Sunny West'. There weren't that many partnering scenes; however, at the time, already felt that she stood out very much. Later, worked together again in 'Tiger Cubs', but it was mostly group scenes. "Big White Duel II" Criticized for Sensationalism After Mainland Broadcast, Roger Kwok Praises Subject Matter as Being Worthy of Attention, Natalie Tong Says That Viewers Have Not Understood the Character's Pain

Regarding it being said that "Big II" is inferior and not as good to watch as its first installment, Roger expressed that it was a matter of opinion. This installment discusses the issue of an open drug formulary, which is worth paying attention to; many people may not feel that it is related to them. He stars in "Communion" and "Big II", which are occupying two time slots. Roger said, "I am rarely in the situation where I am competing with myself. Hope that the viewers stay and watch me for two hours. The ratings of 'Communion' were close to 20 points last week. Hope that the ratings of the two time slots will increase. Have confidence in 'Big II'".
Wife Cindy Au Bans the Filming of Intimate Scenes

"I have a friend who had this experience before; thus, after looking at the script, [I] really understood the character's feelings. Did put [my] friend's views and feelings into the character. Understand that viewers really want 'So Yi' and 'Tong Ming' (played by Kenneth) to get married. Would be extremely disappointed about losing this hope".
Regarding the complaints about the complicated romantic storylines in the series, Moses believes that there are many actors, so there would naturally be many romantic storylines. There were many professional doctors assisting during filming. It is surprising that viewers put the focus on the romantic storylines. "I think that it was filmed quite well. Used a lot of music and atmospheric packaging, which resonates with people somewhat".

Brian, who has been in the industry for 12 years, is finally getting a taste of his wish, partnering Danny, who has been in the industry for five years, as the first male leads. The two will soon film the company's new lighthearted comedy set in the early Republic. The female lead is Erica Chan, who is currently being promoted and having one series after another.
Brian is playing a deity in the series. He, who is playing the first male lead for the first time, frankly said that he is not under much pressure. He said in an interview, "Have filmed a few series set in the early Republic before, such as 'All That Is Bitter Is Sweet' and 'Handmaidens United', but have never collaborated with all of this time's partners before. The TVB series "Big White Duel II" has brought together three big TV kings, Roger Kwok, Moses Chan, and Kenneth Ma, and two TV queens, Nancy Wu and Natalie Tong; it is a golden lineup. The newly joined Moses and Nancy were interviewed together. Moses would not feel pressured as a new addition; rather, the first installment did well, so he was excited to join. Speaking of playing a flirtatious doctor in the series, it turns out that he was suffering in silence. He said, "The producer said that he was giving me a lot of girlfriends, but I was alone from the beginning to the end. Seemed like a wanderer, but it was just wandering around.
Nancy highly praised Moses' character as being full of charm. Regarding getting involved in Kenneth and Natalie's relationship in the series, she pointed out that she did not dare to act rashly and said, "Would not. Initially told the producer to not, by all means, write me as a third party who breaks up their CP. Their CP value is too high. Kenneth and [I] just admire each other". Nancy said that, although the romantic storyline in the series is bland, it is worth seeing. Asked whether there were a lot of intimate scenes, she said, "Well, no. I also want to have some. In the new installment, apart from the appearance of a crisis in his relationship with Natalie, Kenneth is always silently supporting Roger Kwok as the 'man behind' [him]. There are a lot of power struggles in the series; the plot is full of tension. Speaking of TVB's ordinary ratings as of late, is he confident in snatching the ratings back with the new series? He said, "Now, the mode that viewers watch TV has already changed; rather, I think that public praise is even more important. Heard the reaction of the broadcast in Mainland saying that it is good to watch. Also confident in the series. Apart from the romantic storylines, the world view is also very big; it talks about the medical problems faced by the world".
Natalie revealed that her relationship with Kenneth in the series is much deeper than the previous installment, but having to face how to let go when learning to love someone. - Nancy will play Man Chi Chin Hung (萬紫千紅), the head of the family.
- Raymond will play Man Sui (萬帥), the eldest brother. His wife is Mayanne.
- Mayanne will play Lung Kau (龍九), Raymond's sharp-tongued wife; she frequently bullies him. Nancy is her mother-in-law. She, Ashley, and Kaman battle one another. She is the daughter of a family that owns a gambling den. She has a very domineering appearance. She looks very fierce but is actually a chicken. In front of people, she controls her husband, while Raymond becomes a little man. Her character leans toward being funny. She is skilled in gambling, battling amongst the women. Her mahjong skills are comparable to Nancy's.
- Hugo will play Man Nin (萬年), the second brother. He is always sick and rather weak, but his wife, Ashley, is rather strong; she would come to his aid.
- Ashley will play Fok Siu Yuk (霍小玉), Hugo's wife.
- Mark will play Man Sai (萬世), the third brother. He is talented, polite, and really knows how coax his mom. He is a person with a practical personality; he is sometimes romantic and sometimes pragmatic. His wife is Kaman.
- Kaman will play Kam Chi (金枝), Mark's wife. She and Mark are a married couple that is responsible for the romance. Mark is a scholar, while she is considered a person of royal lineage; thus, Mark always recites poems to her to romance her. They will have romantic scenes that include bed scenes and kiss scenes.
