TVB's divine series "Barrack O'Karma" had good feedback and ratings, and will be filming a second installment in August. This time, the leads will be Joel Chan, Selena Lee, and the cat 'Pretty Po'. The second installment will have ten cases; each story will revolve around personal social issues. The story will continue to take place at the Twilight Mansion.
In the first installment, Joel and Selena both played two characters. Producer Yip Chan Fai expressed, "They have a great challenge this time...not only simply playing two characters".
The story of "Barrack 2" is completely new. Previously, Candice Chiu won 'Best Supporting Actress' for playing 'Wong Man Yi', who went mad because she missed her son, in this series. As for 'Lam Gor Jai' Bob Cheung, 'Plastic Container' Jazz Lam, 'Master Kai' Geoffrey Wong, and other main characters in the series, they will continue to film.
In the latest news, Joel's 'elder sister', Christine Ng, will also join the shoot, playing a character with a neurotic personality in one of the cases. Joel frankly said in an interview that, after collaborating with Christine in "Twin of Brothers" in 2004, they have not had the chance to collaborate again: "Certainly happy that elder sister has returned (to TVB) to film series! Many things are being devised for the time being, but this time, it seems that the producer is shooting it himself, so also very confident. Did Not Go Home Every Night! Kenneth Ma Exposed by Mom to Have 'Tucked a Girlfriend Away'

Kenneth Ma and Hubert Wu collaborated again in the TVB series "The Exorcist's 2nd Meter" and were full of chemistry. When the two were interviewed earlier, they graciously talked about their rumours, both expressing that they were immune to the word 'rumour' and would not be bothered. Kenneth, who has been rumoured repeatedly with godsister Natalie Tong, said frankly, "In the future, if she or I have the real one, everyone will know what is the matter!"
Falling in love with people in the industry can easily become the focus of the public. Kenneth Ma Wants to Have a Daughter; Eliza Sam Gets Cold and Wet When Carrying a Fake Belly

Artistes Kenneth Ma, Eliza Sam, and Hugo Ng were in Kowloon Tong doing location filming for the series "BB on Top" but were forced to cancel halfway due to a thunderstorm. The storyline originally said that a group of men is also able to support the family and take care of the children when there are no women who are mothers to do so.
Among them, Kenneth and the three-year-old actress, Libby [Leung], got along the best. The father and daughter even hugged intimately offscreen. He said with a smile, "When I get married and have kids, I also want to have a daughter because girls are very well-behaved! (Good friend Kevin Cheng is becoming a father again?) Congrats to him! Our 'A Fistful of Stances' siblings will also gift something to the baby!" Libby communicated with her grandfather in the series, Hugo, the most. Having to film with children, the two big men frankly said that there must be some patience, but the outcome was very warm.
Eliza is going from playing a pregnant woman to a mother; because she has to carry a fake belly in the humid and hot weather, inevitably, it is slightly tough. She said, "Playing a pregnant woman and actually carrying a baby are two completely different things. When I was actually pregnant, there were hormonal changes. It was a lot tougher physically. However, for filming, it is only a fake belly with silicone. Feeling it, the texture is very similar, but when filming in the studio, because there is air conditioning, it is very cold when the belly is attached to the skin. It takes time to warm up, but if there is outdoor filming, the weather is hot; after a while, it gets wet, so [you] have to get used to it! However, filming with children, they are very well-behaved...have made us very happy!"
Hugo, who has been forced to stay at a hotel in Hong Kong due to the novel coronavirus, complained about having to be separated for a long period of time from his wife, Lily Chung, who is in Singapore. He laughingly said, "I have been staying in Hong Kong for three or four months already. [My] wife also cannot come visit me. Have not experienced this before in all these years of marriage. Feels as though [we] have lost touch. Back then, she would follow me wherever I go. People say that not seeing for a day is like being apart for three autumns. We don't even know how many autumns apart it has been. When [we] see [each other] again, will definitely kiss until the lips are long!"

Selena Lee Has Three Conditions for Filming "Barrack O'Karma 2"?

Artiste Selena Lee's starring series "Barrack O'Karma" was critically and commercially acclaimed, and "Barrack O'Karma 2" is also confirmed to commence filming in August. Selena has also been locked for the female role. Producer Yip Chan Fai expressed that the new series will be having brand new characters, and, like the previous installment, Selena will play two characters.
It has been said that Selena has three conditions in order for her to be willing to film: having to first look at the script, having the original team, and having even more resources. Selena denied this in an interview: "I have not made any demands. The series is the efforts of the copy writer and the producer...have to respect them. I also greatly trust in their ability and creation. Not up to me to make demands. I just need to do my part as an actor. We will be holding another meeting again to discuss. If it is [true], I will announce it. I am so happy; everyone is really anxious about this series. Many fans have also left messages, saying that they want me to film it; I also want to".

"The Exorcist's 2nd Meter" Promotional Event 2

Alex Mak Rumoured to Have Been Frozen by TVB Due to Protesting, Kenneth Ma: 'I Don't Even Have His Phone Number'
Today, Kenneth Ma appeared at Tseung Kwan O TVB City to attend a promotional event for the TVB series "The Exorcist's 2nd Meter". The episode that aired last night talked about Kenneth meeting the most important people in his life again; the touching scenes made viewers teary-eyed. Kenneth said that he had studio filming, so he has not had time to rewatch it: "I haven't seen it myself yet, but the feeling was very good when [I] filmed it. Met a lot of the people from the first installment again...can make viewers have some recollections. Many viewers liked that previous child abuse case. There are many touching stories coming up".
In the series, Kenneth's character is extremely crude, not only having a scene where he takes off his pants but also the golden phrase 'green dragon on the left, mouse on the right'. Kenneth did not feel embarrassed during filming, and even had the feeling of being himself: "When filming, I had shorts underneath. Many friends said this phrase to me. I read what was in the script...so funny and very naughty and witty. It's very comfortable to be 'Siu Ma'; also don't have to worry about the face or hair... a very down-to-earth taxi driver. Don't really have to put on much makeup, and then already getting into position. (Being yourself?) Guess so. 'Siu Ma' has some things that are quite like me, but I would not go as far as going out in shorts. Would not wear boxers at home".
It is rumoured that Alex Mak, who is in the series, was arrested during an anti-extradition bill demonstration, and was then frozen by TVB. Alex did not appear at "Exorcist's" promotional event today. Kenneth said that he is not very familiar with him: "I am not really familiar with him. Did not have many scenes with him, and also did not collaborate with him before. Don't really know [him]. I don't care about others' personal things. (Do you know his current situation?) I really do not know. I don't even have his phone number. I only knew because the reporters told [me]".

- The series is like a modern version of "Journey to the West": during the quest, each person grows up from experiencing many trials.
- Priscilla Wong will play Ku Ling San (顧靈珊), a smart and ruthless lawyer who likes to win and has to win, so she is not a nice person in her job. She is To Yin Gor's pupil.
- Lin Xia Wei will play Ku Yu Yin (顧語嫣), a manager of a shared space who has huge mood swings. She always wants to die. She has a romantic storyline with Tsui Wing and Timothy Cheng, forming a love triangle.

- Judy Kwong will play Jasmine Fong Chor Yu (方楚瑜), whose main occupation is that of a solicitor, but her real identity is that of a fencing fanatic. She is the fifth princess.
- Helen Ma will play a judge.
- Timothy will play Sam Chiu Yin (沈昭然), a fencing coach.
- Luk Wing will play Ma Kei Chun (馬崎駿). He has four elder sisters, so they treat him like a baby. He has a one-sided wish toward Samantha.
- Tsui Wing will play Wong Nam (王男), a performance artist. He has a jumpy personality, and his emotions would burst out suddenly. He is slightly slovenly and always sleeps on the street. He does not have to do his hair, wears a hat, and puts all of his bathing things, toothpaste, and toothbrush in his pockets.
- Hera Chan will play 「啊雪」, a secretary with dual personalities: one is gentle, while the other is dark. She gets betrayed by her male friend.
- Gilbert Lam will play Szeto Bak (司徒北), Judy's mentor.
- Karl will play a Korean guy. When he goes to Hong Kong, he encounters a few of the princesses. He has a romantic storyline with Moon Lau.
- Felix Ng will play Cheng Sing Mo (鄭成武), a member of a fencing club. He has a crush on Judy.
- To Yin Gor will play a judge.
- Leo Lee will play a pupil lawyer. He is Priscilla's pupil.
- Aurora Li will play Yiu Tin Kwan (姚天鈞), a left-handed fencing master. She is Judy's rival who always defeats her. She is dissatisfied with Judy's actions. She looks down on Judy, and Judy also seems to like her ex, so she and a group of her friends surround Judy to bully her. In the end, she and Judy have a fencing match.
- Sunny Dai will play Samantha's friend. He and Kayee Tam are a couple in a case.

Tracy Chu Guest Stars in "The Exorcist's 2nd Meter"

Tracy Chu made a surprise appearance in the currently airing series "The Exorcist's 2nd Meter", guest-starring as a passenger who seemed to be a ghost, which surprised viewers and caused a lot of discussion!
In the series, Tracy was dissed by Kenneth Ma: "Do you know the law?", which was extremely funny! Many TVB fans noticed that there was a high voltage tower scene in the series that was similar to "Over Run Over", speculating that 'Madam Ling', played by Tracy, time travelled to "Exorcist's" after her death! Regarding this, producer Fong Chun Chiu personally acknowledged that this scene was deliberately arranged. He said in an interview with hk01, "Actually, it was intentional because [we] thought of her classic series, 'Over', so [we] changed that (original) part to let viewers have more associations. TVB is actually a really big universe".
Fong Chun Chiu expressed that he has always admired Tracy: "Unfortunately never collaborated with her. It just so happened that she had time in her schedule in that period of time. There was also a scene that seemed to be really suitable for her to do. After discussing it with her manager, was able to bring about this matter. She also readily agreed to it. Finally fulfilled a wish of mine".

Kenneth Ma Says That There Will Be an 'Action Scene'; Moon Lau: Everyone Can Fantasize About the Plot

[Today], Kenneth Ma and Moon Lau were working at Tseung Kwan O TVB City, and they talked about [last] night's plot of "The Exorcist's 2nd Meter" in which Moon happened to see Kenneth taking off his pants and peeing, which caused a hot topic among netizens. Kenneth laughingly said that that ugly underpants was provided by the company...wanted to create the crude feeling of a taxi driver. He said, "I really don't have this kind of underwear, but certainly wore shorts underneath. Guys also have to wear shorts underneath".
Kenneth revealed that he gets caught among Mandy Wong, Moon, and Zoie Tam, having kiss scenes with the three of them. He laughingly said, "I didn't pay the copy writer, but there is a reason for kissing the three of them...not kissing for the sake of kissing. (Who was the best to kiss?) All three of them were good to kiss; all three of them are pretty girls. The last time I had such luck in love was already 'The Mysteries of Love', which was over ten years ago. This time can be described as getting a new lease on life". He even said that he will have an 'action scene' with Moon that rather crosses the boundaries ideologically.
Speaking of Moon being lucky to have been able to see 'God' Kenneth in his underpants, she immediately made a 'little' gesture and laughingly said, "Really did not see anything...ha ha. The series crew did all the protection measures...would not get exposed inadvertently. (Were you disappointed?) I had no expectations for him at all, so there was no disappointment".

Learning to Be a Dad in Advance! Kenneth Ma's Two Moves to Get Along with a Baby Girl

The plot was about Hugo, the father of Kenneth and James, having an extramarital affair, and his mistress, Virginia, giving birth to his baby. A 'family portrait' was taken in front of the hospital.
Leaving Having a Baby to Fate
Kenneth expressed, as he was pushing a stroller without a baby, "Due to the pandemic, not telling the babies to work as much as possible, but I have gotten familiar with the baby girl who is my and Eliza's daughter in the series. She is over two years old this year, and is considered quite well-behaved, but would kick up a fuss if [we] film for too long, so sometimes needs to be coaxed...lift her up high and play with her. Sometimes have to accommodate her...shoot her scenes first".
Kenneth expressed that taking care of a baby tests one's patience: "If it were my own, it should also feel different. In the past, I also helped my elder sister take care of my nephews, but they are already ten-plus years old now; [my] elder sister grumbles about their homework. (Want to be a dad soon?) Leaving it to fate. If there is, would definitely tell everyone. Cannot hide it. (Accept a flash marriage?) [Today], Eliza Sam returned to Tseung Kwan O TVB City to work on TVB's new series, "BB on Top", shooting a scene where a birthday party is held for her daughter in the series. Eliza expressed that that the plot is about her dressing up like a princess with her daughter in order to coax her; however, unexpectedly, her mother-in-law, Kiki Sheung, also appears in a princess look. Eliza, who was wearing a long blond wig and a princess costume, expressed that her look took over an hour. Eliza expressed that she dressed up as an animal last Halloween. When asked whether she would cosplay for a birthday party theme for her son's birthday, Eliza laughingly said, "Also looking forward to it. See what he likes. I will sacrifice for him. (Willing to dress up as a monster?) Maybe it'll be reversed with me dressing up as a monster and my husband as a princess".
Eliza, who has been busy filming the series for months, expressed that she still did not know when it would be wrapping up, but one or two sets of scenes would be filmed every day; it is not too labourious for those before the screen and behind the scenes, and the body would also be healthier. Asked whether there would be no time to take care of her son, Eliza expressed that she must make time to accompany her son: "Like yesterday when [I] had to start very early, [I] played with him for a while before leaving the house. "Flying Tiger 3" Starts Shooting at the End of May, Joe Ma and Eddie Cheung Return

Shaw Brothers' "Flying Tiger" series had great achievements before, as there were endless topics during the broadcast period, and the online platform also set a lot of records. The second installment, "Flying Tiger 2", is also scheduled to premiere on TVB Jade on May 18th, while the third installment, "Flying Tiger 3", is said to start shooting at the end of May. The cast lineup keeps growing: apart from original team members Michael Miu, Bosco Wong, Ron Ng, and Oscar Leung, Joe Ma, who has always been TVB's 'Special Duties Unit (SDU) Icon', and good actor Eddie Cheung, who took part in the first installment, will also 'return' to the shoot. Together with Michael, [they] will lead the juniors to continue their operations. This time, the female lead is Jeannie Chan, who is being promoted by Shaw Brothers.
Joe has always been TVB's 'SDU Icon'. Officially 'returning' this time, he frankly said that he is very happy. He said, "Actually, Miss [Virginia] Lok also looked for me for the first and second installments; however, at the time, I was filming Mainland series. There were schedule conflicts, so [I] could not film. I am also really looking forward to the start of filming because everyone is a familiar acting partner in the series. Believe that it will be filmed happily". Joe expressed that, due to the pandemic, previously, many commercial performances in Mainland were postponed. Would go hiking with his wife in his spare time. Now that he is a vegetarian, his health has clearly gotten better. When asked whether vegetarianism would affect muscle growth, he said, "That's why [I] would eat more healthy plants like chickpeas and quinoa, so as to absorb protein. Hope that the condition is better. (Have been working out?) Have to. Have to pick my physical fitness back up. My son is also in Hong Kong now; would also work out with him when I have time".
Bosco previously injured his left foot while filming the second installment and, at one point, had to halt work to recuperate. Even though he returned to work, he also had to use crutches. When interviewed, he was asked whether there was trauma. He said, "There was no trauma. Still filmed all the same! My foot has recovered a lot now...at least 95 percent". Cannot go to the gym room now. Bosco frankly said that he has gone hiking and has been muscle training at home. When asked whether there was a pay increase to film this time, he laughingly said, "Pay increase? Also happy to have work now! Miss Lok has the final say on whether there is a pay increase!"
Ron expressed, "Extremely happy. Hope that the pandemic will be over soon. Actually, the shooting period is already later than before. It would be best to be able to shoot earlier. (Have to get fit?) Certainly have to work out when facing these strongmen. Michael is already very fit despite not having to work out; I certainly have to work hard".
Jeannie, who is in Canada, expressed in an interview that she will be returning to Hong Kong to film after a long vacation. Playing a Senior Inspector of the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) this time, she frankly said that she has more scenes with Michael and Bosco. She said, "Haven't collaborated with Michael before, but I already collaborated with Bosco in my second movie. At that time, did not know what I was doing at all. Was extremely shy, so there wasn't much communication with him. Thus, also very happy to be able to have an opportunity to collaborate again after so many years".
