Kenneth Ma played 'Tong Ming' again in the series "Big White Duel II", collaborating with Roger Kwok and Moses Chan. The happiest thing when filming in Mainland was the frequent get-togethers. Heard the two fathers share their childrearing experiences. Although Kenneth has no formal plans to marry Roxanne Tong, the two started living together and raising a pair of cats earlier, which has given Kenneth the opportunity to prepare being a 'dad' and to enjoy being a 'cat slave' taking care of cats every day. When Kenneth mentioned the pair of cats, he had a gentle voice and delighted eyes the entire time, talking about his cat experience for 20 minutes in the 30-minute interview, saying that his 'children' are very adorable seven times, and even expressing with adoring eyes that the 'cat daughter usually clings to Mommy (Roxanne) more'. Very sweet!

Kenneth was particularly happy filming "Big" this time because he and his partners stayed at the same hotel in Mainland and took care of one another; their relationship was specially good. "Moses literally made coffee and had it sent to our rooms, like a group of students going to a dorm. Finding a place to eat after getting off work. The more we chatted, the more personal stuff we talked about. Everyone would become more familiar and better friends. Felt very happy".

Learning to Become a Husband and a Dad

Roger and Moses, who have already established a family, kept sharing their experience with Kenneth. Although it has not sped up his pace toward marriage, he has really learned something. "I like hearing it! For example, choosing which area when looking for a house. Is there a need to accommodate the children's school networks? Although I am not a dad yet, they even talked about getting married and how to get along as a husband and wife. Have already pocketed a lot of things. Ha ha!" Kenneth and Roxanne are dating with marriage in mind; last year, they even rented a house in Tseung Kwan O and are living together, but emphasized that the purpose of cohabitation is only to guard against COVID-19. "Previously, she and I had really tight filming schedules. The house is actually a quarantine house. We also can't wear masks when filming series. Also don't know if [we] test positive. Very scared of going home and spreading it to Dad and Mom". Kenneth tested positive earlier. Fortunately, he had already moved put and did not spread it to his family.

Like Taking Care of Kids

One of the happiest things for Kenneth about living together has to be preparing to be 'parents' with Roxanne. They have a pair of ragdolls, Valentino and Ariel; the son was named by Kenneth, while the daughter was named by Roxanne. The two have been personally raising them from when the kittens were nursing to about a year old now; thus, Kenneth was extremely excited once his 'children' were mentioned, and quickly became a loving father. "They woke me up at four or five o'clock this morning. Had nothing to eat and were hungry! We watched some cat programmes that said that cats are most active at dawn or dusk. People finish feeding their kids milk at 12 o'clock, and then eat again at three or four o'clock. Now, it feels a little like taking care of a kid". This new 'cat slave' raved about his 'children'. "They are like a dog. Know how to give you its paw and sit. My cat daughter had an inflamed eye earlier. Once I said 'medicine drops', she left. Seemed as though she understood Cantonese. Hid and could not find her...like a child".

Has to Explain When Going to Work Every Day

Kenneth has been melted completely by his 'children', even calling himself 'dad'. "Would also say 'come to dad'. Would be very delighted when facing the cats. They are very flirty. I quite enjoy it. Would cling to me wherever I go, linger at my feet, sweep with their tails, rub with their heads, and face up their bellies. It's very adorable!" Even when he goes to work, he also has to explain to his 'children'. Although there's no freedom, Kenneth feels very blissful. "I have to tell them every day when I go to work. When they see me changing my clothes, they would run to the door and push against it, not letting me go out. I have to tell them that I'll be back quickly, pushing them away in order to make my way out. Although Ariel is super pretty with eyeliner that seems to have been drawn on her, Kenneth emphasized that he adores his 'children' the same, and there is absolutely no favouritism, and even revealed, "The daughter usually clings to Mommy (Roxanne), while the son clings to me more. It's very adorable!" Although he is already worried that he would be very sad when his 'children' leave one day, he and Roxanne do not have plans to have them produce offspring. "Have thought about whether it is good to let them reproduce, but four or five would be born at once. Which one would be given away? I cannot choose. All five are their children, so not being troubled about it...not reproducing. Two is enough for the time being!"

Kenneth is very concerned about the matters of his 'children'. After the interview, he immediately found some pretty pictures to send to the reporter; however, the funniest thing was that the daughter's name was spelled wrong and did not think of it until the next morning, and all kinds of cat images were already used when responding to text messages.

Kenneth admitted that he saved a lot of pictures of his 'children' on his phone. The reporter praised Ariel as being a pretty girl; Kenneth humourously used a 'make a note of it' image to respond.

On Roxanne's birthday in May of this year, brought the 'children' to a staycation. Kenneth also went along.

Kenneth praised Roxanne as being a 'good mom'...has taught their 'children' to be well-behaved and smart.

Recently, Roxanne went to Australia for work. Kenneth took care of the cats by himself for the first time. Every time Roxanne called, the first thing was being concerned about the situation of their 'children'.

Kenneth frankly said that, since entering the industry, he would rather have cash than a prize, so he does not expect to rely on the 'Tong Ming' role to win 'TV King' again.
