Movie Director Helping TVB Out! Ron Ng and Joel Chan Increasing Workout to Be Strong PTUs

It is known that TVB will start filming a PTU-themed series at the end of June, with Chung Shu Kai, the executive producer of 'TVB New Wings', personally overseeing it. He revealed that, in order to make the series more cinematic, [they] have specially found Law Wing Cheong, the director of the movie "PTU", to assist in the shoot.
As for the cast, PTU certainly has to look for artistes with well-rounded acting skills and are physically fit to play the roles. It is known that the male leads have been decided to be Joel Chan, who has had a recent surge in popularity, is being pushed as this year's 'TV King', and is always very fit, along with Ron Ng, who has been mainly focusing on movies in recent years and can look the part and fight. In the series, they are playing PTU Sergeants, and there will be a lot of unexpected gunfights and big action scenes; it is definitely an extraordinary police series. When asked about the other candidates for the 'male elites', Chung Shu Kai frankly said, "We are still in the selection process. Want to find young actors who are cool, handsome, and muscular. Coming back this time, want to shoot a series with a strong cinematic feeling. This is also a future trend. Will later be looking for more movie directors and cinematographers to collaborate". In the series, there are also two female PTU characters. For the time being, TVB is still in the selection process. The candidates being considered include Natalie Tong, Katy Kung, Regina Ho, and Fiona Dai.
Joel and Ron flattered each other when they were interviewed by on.cc. Joel called Ron 'Big Brother', and [Ron] immediately pointed out that [Joel] is actually a 'senior'. Joel said, "I just received a notice from the company. Certainly very happy to be able to work with Ron. He is my son's godfather. Plus, he is mainly focusing on movies now; it is not easy to invite him to come back to TVB to film series. I have not worked with him in ten-plus years. We have matured now. Greatly looking forward to it. Hope that he looks out for me, this little brother! Godfather, look out for me!" Mentioning the collaboration with Director Law Wing Cheong, "He expressed, "I have not acted as a PTU before. Have certainly watched the movie 'PTU'...the movie is so famous! Actually don't know about the content and the script [of the new series] yet, and we don't know whom the female lead is yet!" He, who has a very fit physique, was asked whether he had to work out to become even fitter than now. He laughingly said, "Will definitely keep working out. Fortunately, there is still time for me to prepare. I will meet everyone in my fittest state. Director Law Wing Cheong is not shooting a movie...basically wouldn't be able to collaborate. In recent years, Ron has mainly shot movies, and was highly praised by his partners for his excellent action scenes. Since "Lord of Shanghai", he has not filmed a TVB series for many years. He said in an interview, "Really haven't filmed TVB series for many years. I only know that I'm working with Joel. Everything else is not known yet. Definitely have to work out though! (Joel is asking you to look out for him!) Wah! He is my senior. He is the one looking out for me!"
Natalie Tong and Regina Ho Are Both Considered Candidates
As for the female leads, 'TV Queen' Natalie and Katy have played fighter girls in series before. In particular, Katy fought remarkably in the series "Death by Zero" and won unanimous praise, while Natalie also showed her skills in "The Righteous Fists". Katy expressed that she had never worked with Ron before. As for acting as a female PTU, she said, "If the producer chooses me, would also be very thankful for his trust. Believe that this group will have a fresh feeling. Filming action scenes is no problem! Also trained again when filming 'Treasure of Destiny'. If really filming (action scenes) again, would also work out again to boost [my] stamina. I have never played this type of role before...feel that it is very challenging". Regina, who is also considered a candidate, had been admitted to a hospital for a tumour removal surgery earlier. She said, "I have fully recovered! Yoyo Chen is currently busy filming the new series "Happy Ever After?" as the lead, and is also shooting a Handover series at the same time. Mandy Wong and Benjamin Yuen Not Scared of Getting Bored of Collaborating for the Nth Time, Greedily Wants to Have Ruco Chan as Well

TVB will start filming the new series "Intimate Strangers" at the end of June. It is known that the male lead will be chosen between 'TV King' Ruco Chan and Benjamin Yuen; the female lead is Mandy Wong, and Kelly Cheung will also be taking part. Mandy, who is currently filming "The Assassin" in Hengdian, admitted that she has not received a notice from the company yet; however, regarding her two male partners, she admitted that she has collaborated with Benjamin too many times, at least 11 times, including "Tiger Cubs", "The Line Watchers", "Threesome", etc., and have played a couple up to six times. Mandy just co-starred with Ruco for the first time in "Secret Door" earlier, and the filming of this series has not been completed yet; the rest of the scenes will be filmed when she returns to Hong Kong.
Filming Series in Hengdian Is Not Tough
Talking about having to choose between Benjamin and Ruco, she laughingly said, "I am quite greedy. Definitely have chemistry with an old partner, and there would also be new sparks with a new partner, so my answer is a greedier one...why not both?!" She expressed that she still does not know about the plot...looking forward to whom her partners will be. Asked about the current filming situation in Hengdian, she said, "I have to film until June here. It is not too tough; thus, when there's time, I would exercise. Go to the gym at the hotel or go dance at a dance studio, and go to a café".
Regarding having the opportunity to collaborate with his 'old partner', Mandy, again, he expressed, "I think that we will have chemistry again. (Not bored of it?) TVB will start filming the new series "Intimate Strangers" at the end of June. It is known that the male lead will be chosen between 'TV King' Ruco Chan and Benjamin Yuen; the female lead is Mandy Wong, and Kelly Cheung will also be taking part. After the HKCEE results were released, 'Yan' became a top 9A student, while 'Yi' had average grades and voluntarily repeated a year. 'Mei', who had the worst grades, felt a sense of relief and decided to join the work force, while 'Po' went to the Sixth Form without a hitch at the school she was attending and dated 'Ming' during the summer holiday. Continuing the Fantasy Craze! Joe Ma Taking the Baton from "Barrack O'Karma 1968" and Fighting with Himself

Alice Chan Does Not Talk About Wedding and Funeral Affairs at Work, Joey Thye Reveals Taking the Initiative to Add Scene to Slap Chow Ka Lok

Alice Chan, Chow Ka Lok, and Joey Thye were doing location filming for the new series "Communion". The other day, Alice revealed on a social platform that her 90-year-old father had passed away due to illness, and announced that her wedding held in the middle of the month would be postponed. Alice did not ask for time off due to the death of her father, and has been working as usual for the past few days. Today, she wore winter clothing for the shoot. Her assistant had made it clear in advance that she would only accept an interview if wedding and funeral affairs were not asked. Alice, who seemed to be in good spirits, accepted an interview afterward. Asked whether work has been on a tight [schedule] recently, she expressed that, in order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return, this series is expected to wrap up in the middle of May to make it in time to release in July; thus, filming is rather tight. It can be said that [she] grew up with Hong Kong; every incident that happened in Hong Kong is vivid in her mind. Ka Lok and Joey, who were also at the scene, are competitors in the series. The two are promoting their creativity in a food battle. As for the emotional scenes, Joey expressed being a bickering pair offscreen. Ka Lok has a lot of actions, thereby teasing him as being an expert in getting slapped. The original script did not have a slap scene, but he overly looks to get hit; she suggested adding a scene at the last minute, but the slap was very weak and would not hurt him. On the contrary, Ka Lok hurt her hand. Joey also revealed that Ka Lok hurt Kayan Yau; he countered that the actors in this series are very fragile. Joey hilariously pointed out that Ka Lok's pecs are rather large; he said that he was also stunned to hear this but does not think that his pecs are large. In the series, Ka Lok is Alice's son. Ka Lok and Joey, who were also at the scene, are competitors in the series. The two are promoting their creativity in a food battle. As for the emotional scenes, Joey expressed being a bickering pair offscreen. Ka Lok has a lot of actions, thereby teasing him as being an expert in getting slapped. The original script did not have a slap scene, but he overly looks to get hit; she suggested adding a scene at the last minute, but the slap was very weak and would not hurt him. On the contrary, Ka Lok hurt her hand. Joey also revealed that Ka Lok hurt Kayan Yau; he countered that the actors in this series are very fragile. Joey hilariously pointed out that Ka Lok's pecs are rather large; he said that he was also stunned to hear this but does not think that his pecs are large. In the series, Ka Lok is Alice's son. He expressed that, when working recently, [he] has seen Alice being very professional; work has not been affected by the death of her father, and everyone has been focused on his or her work.

TVB Filming the Hong Kong Version of "Light the Night"! Mat Yeung Chosen as the First Male Lead

Reportedly, Wong Jing will act as the producer and copywriter again for a new series. TVB will shoot a luxurious version of "Light the Night", but the production will be of a much larger scale. Reportedly, the story revolves around the large-scale nightclubs in Hong Kong in the '80s and '90s. A lot will be put into building many luxurious scenes. Mat Yeung, who is acting as the male lead, is playing a gangster who monitors the premises. Miss Hong Kong Yvette Chan, who has been promoted recently, will join Elaine Yiu, Kelly Fu, Jacky Cai, and Monica Chan, who has rarely filmed Hong Kong series in recent years. Mat's girlfriend, Lisa Ch'ng, will also play a role. Elaine is playing a 'trainee madam', but her role actually has another identity...a great performing opportunity. Mat will also get entangled among Elaine and Jacky; there are many emotional scenes.
Waiting for Work Arrangements, Does Not Dare to Say Too Much
Wong Jing was interviewed [today] and was asked about the new series using Mat, who is entangled in a lawsuit. Would [he] be worried about the development of the lawsuit affecting the filming and broadcasting period? He expressed, "The actors are decided by TVB; they are also confident. I certainly have no problem". As for whether the series is being filmed by TVB or a co-production between TVB and Mainland, Wong Jing said that it was the former. It was previously rumoured that Nancy Wu, Crystal Fung, and Alex Fong Lik San were taking part in the filming; he said that the characters were set to be Mat, Elaine, and Jacky early on because [he] is shooting it for TVB...unclear whether there had been changes previously. He even highly praised Elaine as being a talent with great potential.

'Ying' is promoted to senior Chinese medicine practitioner and supervisor of the clinic, and also beginning to participate in the training of junior Chinese medicine practitioners. Among the newly recruited Chinese medicine practitioners is her childhood sweetheart, fellow Chinese medicine classmate, and ex-boyfriend 'Ku Ching King' (辜清勁). Many years ago, the two broke up due to personality issues and their values. Now, [they] meet again as superior and subordinate with constant disagreements and conflicts. However, the two have the benevolence of doctors, always taking the interests of the patients as their priority.
'King' was treated unfairly when he went to the hospital for the collaborative treatment of Chinese and Western medicine. 'Ying' and the group of junior Chinese medicine practitioners eventually leave the government-run clinic. With great aspirations, they open a private Chinese medicine clinic together, facing different patients and difficult and complicated cases. Chow Ka Lok Chosen as the First Male Lead Again, Having an Older Female-Younger Male Relationship with 'TV Queen' Lin Xia Wei

In recent years, TVB has been promoting the new generation, and Chow Ka Lok is a key target of cultivation. Following "Your Highness" and "Treasure of Destiny", it is said that Ka Lok has been chosen again and will be collabrating with 'TV Queen' Lin Xia Wei in the new series "My Pet My Angel". It is known that, apart from Ka Lok and Xia Wei, the cast of "My" also includes John Chiang, Tsui Wing, Toby Chan, and Hugo Wong. Xia Wei plays a veterinarian in the series, while Ka Lok plays an animal mind reader. Following "Your Highness" and "Treasure of Destiny", it is said that Ka Lok has been chosen again and will be collabrating with 'TV Queen' Lin Xia Wei in the new series "My Pet My Angel". It is known that, apart from Ka Lok and Xia Wei, the cast of "My" also includes John Chiang, Tsui Wing, Toby Chan, and Hugo Wong. Xia Wei plays a veterinarian in the series, while Ka Lok plays an animal mind reader. A rare chance of collaborating with a 'TV Queen', Ka Lok and Xia Wei will even have an older female-younger male relationship!
Being promoted by TVB as the new series' male lead, Ka Lok responded to on.cc, saying, "For the time being, haven't gotten wind of it yet. (Saying that you are collaborating with Xia Wei!) Don't have this concept at all. Have recently been busy filming 'Communion', 'Silver Lining', and 'Come Home Love'. (Saying that you are taking charge as the first male lead?) How is it related to it? It's just a title. I think that it may not necessarily be true. I have indeed not received wind of it yet. Would it be those that are being discussed internally? Don't give me false hope". Xia Wei is busy filming "Speakers of Law". Knows that there is a new series that is about to be filmed, but has not had time to inquire about it and has not officially heard the story yet.
