Kenneth Ma Leaks Secret Due to Being Covered in Cat Fur, Forced to Admit to Living with Roxanne Tong
Artiste Kenneth Ma appeared in Taikoo Shing today to attend a promotional event for "Big White Duel II". When reporters laughingly pointed out that he, who lives in Taikoo Shing, is at his 'home court' today, he initially said, "Yes. Walk a while and then would be back home". However, when reporters discovered that he was covered in cat fur, Kenneth said, "Actually, (girlfriend Roxanne) Tong and I have rented a unit in Tseung Kwan O. Would live there if rushing to film a series, and due to the pandemic, I'm also scared of spreading it my family, so having another place is safer. Roxanne has two cats there. (Living together?) You can say that".
Kenneth has been influenced by [Roxanne] and thinks that the pair of cats is clingy and adorable: "They would follow me to the bathroom. [When] we're watching TV, they would lie down beside [us]. Have caused me to also catch the cat virus. (Regard them as your children?) Actually, they are a married couple from different families. The male cat is approximately a year old, while the female cat is only a few months old".
When asked again about the matter of turning down a series, Kenneth clarified again, "Did not turn down the series. Actually very thankful to the company for being able to let me take the opportunity to go to make money during the release of 'Big'. Actually, every series would always first have a few actors in consideration. (How about really getting married at this time?) If there is good news, we will definitely say it. Roxanne is going to Australia soon for at least half a month, so the truth is that I have to stay home to take care of the cats".
Regarding the series having good ratings, he admitted to being overjoyed: "Didn't expect Hong Kong's ratings to still be so good despite having already broadcasted in Mainland. It's really encouraging".
Spoils Having Conflict at the End, No Effect on Relationship for High EQ Nancy Wu and Roger Kwok
TVB's currently airing series "Big" has been having good ratings. The cross-platform ratings of the first episode reached 21.1 points, and last night's live episode recorded a good result of 19.4, which uplifted those before the screen and behind the scenes. This afternoon, a group attended a promotional event, inviting patients with a rare disease who are members of the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Association of Hong Kong to support the event and do exercises with the actors to improve their health. When members of the association spoke about their feelings about being ill and having successfully obtained government funding for targeted therapy drugs, Kelly Cheung was moved to tears.
Nancy Wu was later interviewed with Roger Kwok, frankly saying that she felt that filming the series this time was very meaningful: "It's no longer simply acting. Hope that, apart from watching the series, it makes the viewers think. That we are able to bring out positive energy and meaning is the purpose of this series". Roger expressed that, although there was no opportunity to contact the patients before the series started filming, they constantly looked online for clips as reference to understand their daily lives, mentality, and the various problems they faced.
The following plot will explain that Nancy, who wants to set up a drug research and development centre, and Roger, who intends for an open drug formulary, are in opposition with one another due to their differing opinions; the relationship becomes more and more tense. The reporters joked about whether they were shot really hating one another, Nancy said, "Well, would not. Our intelligence and EQ are very high". Roger expressed that he begins to expose that Nancy previously performed illegal surgery and other things on her ex-boyfriend, telling viewers to continue to show their support. Nancy expressed, "Although it has already finished broadcasting in Mainland, I am the same as the Hong Kong viewers...chasing it episode by episode. It feels more intense".
