Kenneth Ma said that he and Roxanne Tong have been urged to marry since they went public with their relationship, but they have their own plans for big life events and would absolutely not be secretive about it. "Our mindset is that we are leaving it to fate, but have always discussed marriage. However, due to the pandemic in recent years, many things have been difficult to arrange, so it takes a bit of time to plan, but if this moment comes, we will definitely announce it, so everyone does not have to pressure [us] to marry, or even have a speculative attitude, because we will not hide it. However, in light of the current environment, should not be able to make it in time for this year. Apart from the two of us, it is still a matter that involves two families that needs to be coordinated and handled well. Actually, we are also very happy...able to receive everyone's love. The rarest thing is that, not only do we like [each other], everyone also likes [us]".

Kenneth is known to be a good guy and is easy to get along with, but he and Roxanne still have a way of getting along with one another. "Actually, we don't really need to deliberately use some mindset to maintain it because we are both people who like to stay at home. Usually stay at home to rest when [we] don't have to work, but there is no couple in the world that can live together without disputes. In the process, also need to slowly learn to accommodate, but I believe that, [if you] are willing to work hard, then there will definitely be no issues. For example, there are parts of my lifestyle that I am also stubborn about. I am a rather tidy person. The part of the house that belongs to me is very tidy, but she is more easygoing; it can only be said that there is order amidst chaos. In this regard, we both need to accommodate each other and need to adjust".

Kenneth said that he has also been influenced by his girlfriend, like how [he] never thought about raising cats before and did not want to be a cat slave. "Thought that cats always shed and would damage things by scratching them. I am a rather tidy person...would be afraid that the cats would randomly poop and pee at home. Because of her, I am raising two cats now. Found out after raising them that that they actually have the ability to take care of themselves and really love tidiness. Now, it seems that I have gotten the cat virus. I spend more time taking care of the cats than she does. This is where we change one another".

His girlfriend looks very clever but is actually very foolish and is full of blunders. "On the surface, she seems to be very clever, but she is actually a very absentminded person. Would often leave things when going out. She also often makes fun of herself as looking very clever but is actually foolish. There would be interesting things happening every day. Sometimes when she goes out to work, would get a call very quickly; it turns out that she forgot to bring the exit gate card. She has a lot of handbags, so she would always forget some things when changing bags. Even does not bring ID when going out. Even with me by her side, she even does not bring a wallet...only having a phone in her hand. I often tell her, 'If you get lost, it'll be quite troublesome...don't even have a few dollars on [you]'. However, this personality of hers cannot be changed. After slowly getting along with one another, I also find it quite adorable. It is very delightful because there is someone by my side who surprises and stimulates me every day".

In the series "Big White Duel II" this time, Kenneth plays 'Tong Ming', who has great medical skills and is not interested in playing with the political turmoil in the hospital. He expressed that the character's personality is very similar to his. He has always been less talk and more action; even some behind-the-scenes people thought that he was mute when he first entered the industry. "Discussed it with the producer before filmed started. Actually, 'Tong Ming''s personality is a bit like mine. He only wants to treat people...does not want to deal with hospital politics, which is like me in real life. I always just want to do one thing well, which is acting, and I don't want to take part in extra things. Thus, when I first read the script, it was very easy for me to understand why the script was written like this. When I was acting it out, it was more advantageous". Although everyone says that he has a Zen personality, which has made his performing arts path longer than others, he has no regrets. "May have missed out, but I feel that I have been very comfortable doing it. The most important thing is whether I feel comfortable or not. It took a long time before being able to act as the lead or receive a heavy role, but at least my foundation would be better. Would not necessarily be good to act as the lead as soon as [I] debuted. Let myself lay a solid foundation before moving up...would be more stable".

Many people in the entertainment circle think that he is not proactive enough, but he said that he thinks that it is okay. "I am already more proactive than before. Many colleages in the dressing room have known me for a very long time. Talking about when I just came out of the training class back then, it turns out that everyone thought I was mute because I often sat in a corner and did not speak at all when waiting to get into position. Later, got familiar, and there was no problem. Now, I already communicate with people more. It's also considered a good thing; at least a lot of misunderstandings have been reduced. Secondly, communication is helpful for acting". Every time he shoots a series, Kenneth would maintain a learning attitude and would ask his fellow actors for their opinions. Just like collaborating with Roger Kwok in "Big II", especially asked Roger how to deal with group scenes. "Because many directors are rather new this time. There would be a offset in Roger's position...would feel uncomfortable. However, if Roger is on the scene, he would deal with it because he has more seniority and is more experienced. A lot of the time, it is more appropriate for him to make arrangements, which are even better than the director's arrangement. Thus, I would ask him for his opinion because, when you always feel that you are the strongest, it is very difficult to improve. [If you] have a learning attitude every time, then it will be easier to take in".
