- The series is a co-production between Youku and TVB.
- The series is a spin-off of "Themis". The story takes place eight years before the events of "Themis". Apart from having many court cases linking the entire series, it will also interweave the open and veiled strife among lawyers for the position of chief lawyer, shifting the battleground from the juvenile court of "Themis" to the adult courtroom.
- Tavia Yeung will play Au Ho Ching (歐皓澄), a lawyer. She is Gallen Lo's disciple, engaging in a 'head-on battle' with Kelly Cheung and Moon Lau at a law firm. Her mentor changed her entire life. Her character has a lot of inner drama, and undergoes different transformations at different stages. There are many court scenes and a lot of dialogue.
- Gallen will play Poon Chak Sang (潘澤生), a barrister with ambitions to become the Department of Justice. He also encountered a family tragedy. Tavia, Kelly, and Moon are his disciples. He greatly adores his disciples. He and Tavia have a mentor-mentee relationship that has experienced something. His relationship with Alice Chan is not simple. He and Joyce Tang are a married couple.
- Alice will will reprise her character, Ko Suk Wah (高淑樺), from "Themis", presenting her story eight years ago, focusing on the mother-son relationship, and explaining why her son later becomes a serial killer. Her character is not as ruthless as in "Themis", but will undergo a transformation from good to bad. She and Gallen had the same mentor and were initially at the same law firm; their relationship goes from good to bad, going from having a good senior-junior relationship to it slowly changing. Everyone thinks that he is a super good man, but she would see through him and will ultimately expose his other side. She has a lot of court dialogue.
- Kelly will play Cheuk Yi Chun (卓以臻), a talented barrister who comes from a rich family. She is the most unpopular character because she often causes trouble. She and Alice work at different law firms; their relationship is sometimes in opposition and sometimes collaborative. She, Tavia, and Moon are all disciples of Gallen; they will fight and scheme against one another, competing to get promoted. In her eyes, her mentor is sacred, and she greatly admires him. In the end, the few disciples would unite to help him.
- Joyce will play Ma Sing Yuet (馬承悅), Gallen's wife. She is not a lawyer. Her character is multifaceted. She is a heavyweight guest appearance.
- Moon will play Cheung Chi On (章梓安), a stern, arrogant, and taciturn barrister. She dislikes everyone and only listens to her mentor, Gallen. She has a great sense of justice. She is full of enthusiasm and strives for success. Because she comes from a grassroots background, she does not need anyone's help and extremely respects her teacher. There is a lot of dialogue in the court scenes.
- Matthew Ho will play Ma Sing Chi (馬承志), Gallen's disciple. He is Joyce's younger brother.
- Ronny Lay will play Lui Kwong Mo (雷光武), a criminal barrister.
- Lucas Yiu is not a lawyer. He seems very calm on the surface, but is actually very suppressed inside. There are some things that have been bothering him for many years. He has many scenes with Gallen.
- So Tin Lok will play Ko Sing Pan (高成彬). His father will not be appearing in the series.

- The series is not a comedy, but there is some dark humour. The script explores profound family relationships. It is figuring out what is the most important in life. When you only have once chance to do something, what would you choose? Money, fame, or status? In the series, there are many critical moments, steadily revealing the choices that people make.
- The plot is about Bob Lam, whose soul leaves his body after becoming a person in a vegetative state after getting attacked in revenge. Him Law gets possessed by Bob's soul, and is later guided by Bob to infiltrate the triads to investigate the attack.
- Him will play Hui Ka Yau (許家佑), a traffic cop who abides by the law and does his duty. He has a sense of justice, compassion, and empathy. He is a warm guy. He is playing two characters. He is a loyal and warm-hearted cop; however, after he gets possessed by Bob's soul, he reveals his domineering and ruthless nature as a triad boss, and there are also scenes where there is inner conflict between the two characters' souls. He has to imitate Bob's mannerisms, and there are even scenes of being in perfect sync. He has romantic storylines with Venus Wong, Winki Lai, and Kelly Fu but mainly with Venus and Kelly. He has physical contact with Winki. There are a few scenes where he shows off his muscles, such as wearing a tank top and taking a shower.
- Bob will play Ko Tin (高天), a vicious, sinister, cunning, and ruthless triad boss who becomes a person in a vegetative state due to a traffic accident. During this, his soul leaves his body, and he enters Him's body. Although he is successful in his work, he is poor at handling his family matters. Venus is his daughter, while Alex Yung is his son. His brothers in the underworld call him 「天爺」. The producer and director hope for him to act in a serious manner, hoping that the outcome would be both comedic and dramatic. He has many scenes with Him. After his character is in a vegetative state, he can only observe Him's physical interactions with other female characters from a spiritual perspective; he can only have partnering scenes on a spiritual and emotional level.
- Venus will play Ko Fong Ting (高方廷), a lawyer with a cold personality. She is Bob's daughter and Alex's elder sister. She has a great sense of justice; however, due to her background, she has a lot of struggles. She frequently crosses the boundaries, but Him often appears to protect her. Him and Kelly are a pair, but fate arranges for her to get involved, though it is not a love triangle. She and Him have sparks, but they will not date, and there are no passionate scenes.
- Winki Lai will play Yu Lai San (余麗晨), Bob's confidante; they have a subtle relationship. She has an emotional interaction with Bob; however, with Him, it is a physical interaction, getting entangled in a triangular relationship. She and Him will have a passionate scene, but it is not considered very intense; it is very gentle. She has many lovers. She has a few close contact scenes with Aska Cheung. When she has physical contact with other people, she would think of Bob. She often wears short skirts. She is also called 「Sunny姐」.
- Kelly will play Kelly Lam Hoi Lei (林凱莉), Him's girlfriend. She also has many romantic scenes with Bob, who possesses Him's body.
- Alex will play Ko Fong Kit (高方杰), Bob's spoiled son. He is an arrogant second-generation triad member who causes trouble and considers himself the best in the world. He is very brave, and his personality is as ruthless as his father's. He thinks that whatever he does is right. He has plenty of fight scenes that lean toward gang fights. He is a crazy antagonist with an irritable personaliry.
- Aska will play Lam Sing Fung (林成峰), Bob's loyal bodyguard. He has fight scenes. He is usually quiet but is secretly quite gossipy.
- Wai Ka Hung will play Leung Sam (梁森). He is also called 「森記」.
- Eric Tang will play Chan Wai Lim (陳威廉), a gangster. He is Amber Chan's father. He is also called 「雞廉」.
- King Lam will play 「華哥」.
- Tsui Wing will play Wong Ting Lai (黃霆禮), a cop.
- Kelvin Liu will play 「爆徐」.
- Ivan Yau will play 「阿孝」a gangster. He is King's underling; however, a lot of the times, when they have meetings, King does not appear due to his illness, so he is King's spokesperson.
- Gordon Ip will play a gangster.
- Amber will play Chan Ho Yi (陳皓兒), a shrewish gangster who is a big-mouth. She is Eric's daughter.
- Man Yeung will play a gangster.
- Peter Chan will play a gangster.
- Ronny Lay will play 「南哥」, a gangster.
- Leo Kwan will play a cop.

In order to dismantle Ron and his wife's powerful partnership, he announces his marriage to the Hong Kong prosecutor Samantha Ko. He uses Samantha's hatred as a weapon to attack Ron and his wife, becoming the scariest alliance. Along with the strict control of their father, John Chiang, this family becomes a distorted arena, and what they ultimately vie for is a decorated boat that symbolizes their family bloodline and beliefs. He is an antagonist who connects all the characters in the series. He uses different methods to torture people, mentally and physically tormenting his female partners; all the females are ruined in his hands. The relationships among him, Ron, Samantha, and Kelly Cheung are a mix of love and hate. He is very bad toward Samantha, and he does not only have her. He gets entangled among many women. He has some daring scenes, with the two most daring scenes with Hera Chan and Jeannie Chan. His unhappy and distorted childhood leads to him having a warped personality and values and causes great suffering to those around him. He is a hateful person, but he has a pitiable side.
- Ron Ng will play Koon Hau Kwan (官孝君), the second son of the rich and powerful Koon family. He and Julian are brothers, and there will many scenes of conflict. He is essentially a good person, only resorting to tactics to protect his family and using his wife, Kelly, to commit evil deeds behind the scenes. He will only torment one person, which is Kelly. He and Kelly will have more dialogue-heavy scenes. He has more inner drama; there is not much action, as he uses his mouth and not his fist. His intimate scenes are few, but his intimate scene is not shot with Kelly. Apart from having scenes with Julian, he is also working with John and Mimi Kung.
- Samantha will play Alice Hung Hoi Wan (洪海允), a senior prosecutor of the Prosecutions Division. She is tough and cunning and has intellectual beauty. She, Kelly, and Ron are friends who grew up together. Later, Kelly did something that hurt her. In the end, she marries Julian, joining their family war. She gets severely tormented by Julian. She engages in a battle of wits and valour with Julian, and she would coordinate with him, but she would also have her own ideas. They also develop a square relationship with Kelly and Ron, which not only involves feelings but also power struggles.
- Kelly will play Wong Suet Ying (王雪瑩), a woman who has married into a rich and powerful family. At the beginning of the series, she is already Ron's wife. She is a pastry chef. Her character has a complete backstory. She is a bad person, and she goes crazy for love. Love comes first, and she has a great sense of jealousy. She is the baddest of the bad; she does things by fair means or foul the most and is the one with the least sense of morality. She has an impulsive personality and action scenes. Everything she does is for love and her husband, doing all kinds of bad things for the husband she loves, including running someone over with her car and pushing someone off a building. The things that she says are really mean, and she is sharp-tongued. She and Samantha used to be good friends who grew up together; however, because she stole Ron from Samantha, they have fallen out with each other. She gets viciously beaten by Julian. She does not have as many intense scenes as others, but she has intimate scenes with Julian.
- John will play Koon Chi Sam (官志琛), the chairman of 「尚利鋒國際酒店集團」 and the chairman of the Hotel Industry Committee. He is the father of Julian and Ron. He is a villain, and both of his sons are also villains.
- Elena Kong will play Ting Lai Ming (丁麗明), Ron's mother. She is also the mother from 40 years ago. She helps her son fight for a position in the family. She has been in a mental hospital for 30 years, but she is actually pretending to be mentally ill. Because she killed the mistress and does not want to go to jail, she tells her husband to send her to a mental hospital. Then her husband thinks that she knows too much, causing to her to be in comatose state that does not need to talk too much. However, he later finds out that she knows a secret and makes her conscious again.
- Jeannie will play Sarah Fok Pui Wah (霍佩樺), a reporter for an online media group. She is a character with a mysterious inner world. She has more daring and emotional scenes with Julian, getting mentally, emotionally, and physically tortured by him, and she has more emotional scenes with Samantha. This performance is the sexiest she has ever done in a series.
- Alice Chan will play Yiu King Hung (姚景虹), the vice president of the Macau Hotels Future Development Committee. She is a career women with a good eye for things, pays attention to detail, skillfully moves across different levels.

- Daniel will play Tong Chun Yu, a rich second generation who has married into the Koon family. His wife is Angel; they do not have a very good relationship. He has a low status in the family. Angel does not really pay attention to him; they merely appear to be in good relations but are exactly the opposite. He is extremely arrogant and loves to gloat over others' misfortune the most. Calvin Choy is his elder brother; their brotherhood is rather moving, as it involves life and death.
- Hugo Wong will play Ron's right-hand man who is really good at crisis management. He has a rather complex personality. He is a bit dark. His interests come first, and he would also make mistakes. He has to walk a fine line between Julian and Ron.
- Calvin will guest-star as Daniel's elder brother. He has the most scenes with Daniel. He really adores his younger brother, and he can go against everything in the world for him. He is always mad at Daniel's wife for picking on his younger brother; thus, he also has many scenes with Angel.
- Timothy Cheng will play John's younger cousin. He is the entire family's housekeeper. He is not the most evil in the series.
- Danny Hung will play the owner of a deli who has always felt that he is full of aspiration.
- Wong Yi Kam will play Samantha's mother.
- Sherman Poon will play the younger version of Samantha's character.

- The series uses the development of Hong Kong International Airport as its background. The plot revolves around the daily happenings within and outside of the restricted areas, showcasing the diverse nature of the airport through the daily lives of professionals in various roles. The series will not only film at more secret locations within the airport that are not publicly accessible, but will also talk about the connection and operations between Hong Kong Airport and the Greater Bay Area; thus, there will also be filming in Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
- This time, the focus is on a group of young employees who have just arrived at the airport or have been working for a few years. The story will talk about their daily work, the problems that they encounter, and how their superiors, like Kenneth Ma, guide them. At the same time, the young people also have their own ideas, influencing the perspectives of their seniors. The two influence each other, bringing professionalism to their work.
- The series is about how a group of people at the Airport Authority deals with crises to make the airport operate smoothly. In this installment, the emotional storylines are not really the focus, as it mainly talks about the things that are encountered at work.
- Kenneth has been promoted to being the general manager of the airport terminal and customer experience; it is a very high position. Chow Ka Lok is his apprentice. The plot will explain the whereabouts of Sisley Choi's character. Sisley will often get mentioned; she is still there, and they still have a connection.
- Samantha Ko continues to be an airport passenger services manager who is still using a professional and attentive attitude to provide the best quality service. As it was before, she has a subtle and heartwarming romantic storyline with Tony Hung. She and Tony become separated by distance, as she gets transferred to the Greater Bay Area, putting their relationship to the test.
- Tiffany Lau is no longer a flight attendant; she has changed to being the manager of Harbour Airline at the airport. There is a scene where she has to handle inquiries from passengers of different nationalities, responding in Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Korean at the same time.
- Chow Ka Lok will play Ching Yat Fei (程日飛), a management trainee (MT) with an arrogant personality. He is a wild horse with an IQ of 180. He is Kenneth's apprentice. He will pursue Tiffany. He and Kenneth fight over Tiffany.
- Brian Chu goes to teach at the Aviation Academy. Rosita Kwok is his subordinate.
- Rosita has changed to a cadet pilot who follows Brian. She will film in a simulation cockpit. She has a subtle romantic storyline with Ricco Ng.
- Ricco officially works on the airport apron.
- Joey Thye has been promoted to being a ground crew manager. Michelle Tsang is her superior.

He, Elvina, and Timothy are a family; his entire family is villainous. He is Moses' younger cousin. He challenges Moses' family to see how he is able to help his own side. His target is Moses; taking down his family business and stealing his girlfriend, everything is done in order to destroy them. He is a smart guy such that he sees his father having an affair, but he would not tell his mother and would help his father keep it a secret, knowing that he has leverage against his father. He gets photographed nude by Moon.
- Mason will play Mok Ka Chun, a patient with eczema who needs treatment from Moses. He is a hidden youth who has been staying at home for a long period of time. He is addicted to gaming. He is Agnes' son; while he is hidden, she is his only financial source.
- Zoie will play Law Wing Yan (羅穎恩), a person with autism who lives in her own world. She has a low mental capacity. Sometimes she speaks slowly, but she would talk non-stop about topics that she is interested in. She likes colourful things, so she likes to draw and dolls. She has a great family, and everyone takes good care of her and accommodates her. She is Kelly's elder sister, while Gary and Eva are her parents.
- Moon Lau will play Natalie Sam Yi Ting (沈綺婷), an unscrupulous and scheming real estate agent. She is a 'green tea bitch' who has a harmless appearance but is full of cunning ideas. Kelly is her bestie; however, apart from competing with Kelly for business, she even snatches Moses, creating many obstacles in their relationship and careers. She has relations with different men, including Timothy, Patrick Lam, Karl, Moses, and Mark Ma, using different tactics to deal with different people. She will seduce Moses, but it does not really work on him, so she uses other tactics. She has a serious illness. She is an antagonist; at first, it is for money, but later, she falls for Moses and always thinks that Kelly is in the way, so she becomes bad for love. She has a monetary relationship with Karl; they have a mutually beneficial relationship. She admires Moses. She and Mark are a bickering pair. She is her truest and cutest self in front of Mark; she does not have to take any precautions against him, and there is no need to think about whether he would attack her, and she would not attack him. There is a scene where she does a lap dance and dances on a table in which the target is Timothy.

He has never dated but wants to find a girlfriend. He admires Moon; he is a pathetic guy who would do everything for her. He only likes Moon and Moses.
- Angelina will play Moses' loving mother. She is virtuous and kind and very quiet. She would not often get angry or yell at people. She is very tolerant and is completely friendly.

- Mark Ma will play a muscular undercover agent with a great sense of justice. On the surface, he is a playboy, but is very suppressed on the inside. He is good at fighting and also has to ride a motorcycle. He is the boss of the undercover girl group. He leads Kelly, Jeannie, and Yuki on a special mission; he gets teased by Kelly and Jeannie, but he bullies Yuki. He trains them to be outstanding undercover agents, so he constantly treats them harshly, letting them experience everything that he went through when he was an undercover agent. He will get romantically entangled with Kelly and Jeannie. He and Jeannie are considered enemies; they love to use their strength to solve their problems.
- Kelly will play Sam Kai Kei (沈佳琪), a behavioural psychologist who is an expert in microexpressions and behaviour and is good at observing the details of people. As an expert, she helps the police solve cases because she finds solving riddles fun. She is a secret agent, so she can use beauty tactics and wear hot pants and black stockings to show off her long legs. She is funny. She is clever and has a sharp tongue but is also absent-minded and clumsy. She, Jeannie, and Yuki are spies but are in a girl group as a side job because they have to get close to their targets, Eddie Kwan, Maggie Shiu, and Yumi; thus, they use being a girl group to get close to Yumi. She and Jeannie are not good at singing and dancing. She is responsible for being sexy. There is a sailor school uniform. She wears shorts and skirts, as she is very confident and is slightly arrogant. She is very elegant and does not know how to fight; she only knows how to attack with her mouth. She does not have to fight, but she always gets beaten; there are a few scenes where Mark treats her harshly. At first, she is with Hugo Wong, and they have many sweet scenes; later, she has a bit of a romantic storyline with Mark. Yuki is her younger cousin. She is also called 「東九龍第一美臀」.
- Jeannie will play a cop and judo master. Her ultimate attack is a shoulder throw. Her styling is the most conservative; all of her clothes are fall and winter wear. She hides herself and seems invisible. She is not responsible for being funny; rather, she has to have a sturdy side. She is in charge of the action; she is the best fighter in the series. She, Kelly, and Yuki create a lot of laughs while investigating a drug case. She has no romantic storyline, and there are no kiss scenes. She previously worked at a phone repair shop called '32C', so she is also called 「黃金32C」.
- Yuki will play Tung Siu Yu (童小茹), a straightforward and lively cop whose condition is a bit crazy. She is brave and good at fighting. She is a super extrovert, and she hits it off with people right away. Her dream is to become an undercover agent, but she is missing something, so she does things without thinking too much when she is doing missions. When she finds out that the police force is recruiting undercover agents, she immediately sends a résumé. She looks as though she is 17 or 18 years old and is similar in age to Yumi, so she is recruited into the team. She forms an undercover team with Kelly, Jeannie, and Mark. She has many special looks, as she is responsible for cosplaying. She excels at making clothes, so she helps in making the girl group outfits. She likes animation, so she creates a virtual anime character, which is a cat investigator. She has romantic storylines with Felix Ng ans Oscar Tao, but she does not sense that they like her, as she treats them like brothers and friends. There is a love triangle among her, Felix, and Oscar; in the middle, Yumi gets dragged in, becoming a love square. She has a kiss scene. She is also called 「行走嘅資料」, so she has a lot of dialogue.
- Maggie will have a noble appearance. She, Eddie, and Yumi are a wealthy philanthropic family that gets investigated by the police for some reasons. There is a scene where she and Eddie sing.
- Oscar will play Au Hoi (歐凱). He is also called 「海鷗」.
- Felix will play an antagonist. His storyline is rather dark, and many unhappy things happen. It is not until he meets Yuki that his attitude changes.
- Yumi will play Bowie (寶儀), a well-behaved girl who loves to sing and dance and wants to join a girl group. She is the daughter of Maggie and Eddie; her parents greatly adore her. Yuki is her good friend. The girl group is called 「After Work」.
- Eden Lau will play Yu Tan (余旦). He is also called 「魚蛋」.
- Leo Kwan is a foolish gangster. He would take a bullet and jump off a building for Mark. He is also a crazy fan.
- Jim Tang will play Lung Wai Hong (龍為康).
- Fanny Ip will play Lei (莉).
- Eddie Pang will play 「私煙強」.
- Matthew Ho will guest-star.

FYI: The Chinese title of this series has been changed back to 《臥底嬌娃》 (literally translated as "Undercover Gals"). The official English title is "Pretty Dangerous".

Personal Note: Thought that the series would be 20 episodes and was also expecting Jeannie to be the first female lead, as Kelly has only really been the lead for "The Witness"....
