Crying Scene Receives Praise! Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong Busy with Their Own Things, Unable to Reunite Under the Full Moon

Kenneth Ma, Samantha Ko, Lai Lok Yi, et al. were in TVB City promoting the series "Go! Go! Go! Operation C9". Kenneth uploaded a picture with Samantha the other day, and left a message, saying, "Really love 'Cute Ma'". His girlfriend, Roxanne Tong, immediately left a message with a crying expression emoji. Kenneth said that his girlfriend was not jealous. Asked if there was a need to say 'Kenneth Ma really loves Roxanne Tong' to make up for it, he laughingly said, "Not telling you". The other day, a crying scene was praised by netizens as being TV king-level acting skills, with layers in the crying. Kenneth gave the credit to the script being written well, making the viewers have tears within laughter.

As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, Kenneth expressed that he and Roxanne are busy with their own things...unable to reunite under the full moon. Golden Producer Poon Ka Tak Returning to TVB After Retirement, JW Being the Lead?

After golden producer Poon Ka Tak retired two years ago, he plans to return to his mother company to shoot a new series. The new series' male lead is Ngo Ka Nin, who is returning after seven months; JW, who had just signed with Voice Entertainment, is acting as the female lead.

[Sky Post] called Poon Ka Tak to verify the news of his return. He kept everyone guessing, saying, "TVB is filming a new series. I also received an invitation recently. In the stage of understanding. However, the format of the producing work this time is slightly different from when I was previously working at TVB".

JW only made a guest appearance in the series "Sinister Beings" at the end of last year; there was not much screen time. This time, she has suddenly jumped to becoming the female lead. Says That the Intimate Scenes with Samantha Ko Were Not Enough! Kenneth Ma Not Scared of Roxanne Tong Twisting His Ear

Artistes Kenneth Ma and Samantha Ko attended a promotion for the new series "Go! Go! Go! Operation C9", which is airing next week. Everyone played games and challenged their cooking skills by making a salad. Regarding "Chinatown" being pulled [from broadcast] at the last minute, airing this 'warehoused series' that had been filmed for two years instead, the two were pleasantly surprised. Kenneth expressed, "Actually, it was previously scheduled to release, but don't know why it had been pulled. It was once or twice, but would not be sad". Samantha laughingly said, "But I was sad, so very surprised now that it is suddenly airing". Kenneth also said, "Actually also never thought about it because 'Chinatown' has a big budget. It's usually series with a big budget that air near the anniversary month, but also not saying that I don't have any confidence in this series. Selena Lee appeared in Kowloon City today to attend Wai Yin Association's reusable masks donation event. She even danced in the promotional clip, showing off her flexible muscles and bones: "Wanted to hand out environmentally friendly masks this time because creating garbage every day is not a solution. These masks have disinfectant ingredients on the inside. I had to dance in the promotional clip to show that there were no problems with the spine. Able to help people and protect the environment".

Selena, who is currently busy filming the TVB series "Barrack O'Karma 2", has to rush back to the series crew after the event. Regarding the plot of "Barrack 2", she said that she could not disclose even more due to contractual issues but was confident that it would surprise the viewers: "Signed a contract...cannot disclose it. I can't disclose it even if I wanted to. Can only say that, this time, it is even more extreme than last time's story...gave [me] goosebumps upon reading it, so there will be surprises. "Barrack 2" is playing with parallel universes. Selena has to perform an entirely new character. - The series title is the spirit of Nina Paw's character, and is also the central theme of the series. Nina's character teaches her children that, as long as they are not afraid of difficulties and are willing to face them, all problems can be solved.

- Natalie will play Tin Yu Fei (田羽菲), the daughter of a Datuk. She is a down-to-earth girl from a wealthy family who does not have too many famous brands to wear. Nina is her mother-in-law, while Joe is her husband. She and Joe are divorced at first, but they later date. She and Joe are divorced, but he is still by her side; she left him, but he still loves her.
- Mat will play Kwok Tak Ming (郭得明), a well-known fashion designer who intends to design wedding dresses. He is Nina's well-behaved second son. He and Stephen Wong seem to have a 'hehe' relationship: the two are good friends, but their actions cause his family and Grace Wong to misunderstand that they are a pair. He and Grace are a pair.

- Tsui Wing will play the owner of a coffee shop. He is a filial son. He used to be a wanderer, but his mother, Helen Ma, had a stroke, so he returns and settles down in Hong Kong to take care of her. He and Stephanie have a moving love story.
- Eddie Kwan seems to be Mat's father. He is grateful toward Nina but also has some beef with her. He will clash with Nina's family because he owns half of the building that Nina's family lives in. He, who has just been released from prison, will fight with everyone for the building, but he has to follow Nina's spirit of protecting her children and letting them grow up together. The Kwok family is fearful of the stranger who has come into their house, but he is a good person who always has to protect them. Stephanie is the first to accept him. His triad brothers are Stephen Ho, Kevin Tong, Terence Tung, Anthony Yu, Calvin Chan, and Hellston Ching.
- Stephen Wong will play Mountain Fung Yiu San (馮耀山), who admires Mat. He and Grace are romantic rivals; Grace becomes the third party.
- Fei will play Danny Kwok King Hin (郭景軒), a 25-year-old part-time expert and server at ½ Moment Coffee (「半刻咖啡」). He is kind and optimistic, meek and obedient, independent, and tidy and orderly. He also has his own thoughts but does not often express them. He has not been in love before, and he would be nervous and shy when facing his crush. Once he encounters the thing that he likes, he would bravely charge forward and work hard to fight for it. He loves fine food and is a foodie. When he was born, his father was already missing early on. His mother, Stephanie, was still a minor; thus, his maternal grandmother, Nina, was responsible for taking care of him. He has been living with Nina since he was young; the usual activities of his daily life are taken care of by Nina, and he is doted on. Although it is like this, he does not become arrogant; rather, he keeps Nina's teachings in his heart, building a close grandmother-grandchild relationship. "Go! Go! Go! Operation C9" Airing Instead of "Chinatown" on September 21st

TVB originally scheduled to release the new series "Chinatown", which stars Ruco Chan, Joel Chan, and Elaine Yiu, starting on September 21st. The promotional clip had also already been released [last night], but TVB suddenly changed its plans [today], airing "Go! Go! Go! Operation C9", which stars Samantha Ko and Kenneth Ma, instead.

Regarding this change, TVB said that changes are very common and happen from time to time. This time's arrangement is to mainly coordinate with a global simulcast. TVB previously released several series starring Samantha, including "Death by Zero", "On-Lie Game", and "Al Cappuccino", which is still airing. Together with "Go!", she already has four series airing consecutively.

Playing Different Roles to Broaden Acting Spectrum

Regarding the changes in the programming schedule, Samantha expressed in an interview [today] that she has not received an official notice from the company. Speaking of four series airing consecutively, seeming to be promoted, she said, "If it is true, then certainly very happy. Also letting the company arrange everything! Ruco Chan Emphasizes That He Has Not Retired

Regarding "Chinatown" having to simulcast globally, thereby changing its broadcast schedule, the male lead, Ruco, laughingly said in an interview, "I have not had a series air in a year-plus to two years. Have not met with the family audience in a long time. Will everyone think that I have retired? Actually, I am an active individual. Have recently been doing music, and also preparing to start another series". He also expressed that he already hasn't played with his daughter, Quinta, in a long time. After completing the filming of "Super Emissary", will mend the father-daughter relationship as soon as possible!

Artistes Ali Lee and Mayanne Mak's top-secret looks in TVB's new series, "AI Rhapsody", have been revealed. Ali, who plays a robot, was delivering take-out at the request of her master, Mayanne. In doing so, a small accident occurred, but it was a safe arrival in the end. However, in the series, Mayanne is a celebrity who is already popular at a television station, but she also wants to please the elder sister and the directer, so she treats others to a meal. Thus, she orders Ali to deliver Western-style pastries to the scene but shuns her once she sees her covered in stains, and tells Ali to leave. It was seriously ruthless.

Ali and Mayanne were full of chemistry once they got into their positions. Ali even praised Mayanne for being quick to adapt in filming series. However, she, who is playing a robot for the first time, finds it a bit difficult because there is no one around her to figure it out from. She laughingly said that it is the fourth day of filming, but her reaction still needs to be improved; however, she finds the role to be very fresh, relieving her acting itch.

Ali expressed that the most important thing for this character is mastering the rhythm: "My look is quite down-to-earth. Not the robot look as imagined. This bob is slightly MK, but I also think that I am able to carry it! (There are sparks when collaborating with Mayanne?) We have not worked with each other in a long time. We filmed 'Sidewalk Scientist' back then, and up to now, we have both grown. As an MC, her memory is very good. Is very confident in front of the camera, and picks things up very quickly!"

Mayanne, who rarely films series, has actually filmed three series already. Previously, there was "Line Walker: Bull Fight" and "Armed Reaction [2021]". It's just that the new series have not been released yet, so it is not known. She said, "To be able to act in addition to being an MC is a small wish of mine because, when I talk to my colleagues, they share topics on filming, which don't resonate with me; thus, I also really want to try acting. (The two are different?) As an MC, just have to be full of energy and have a good memory, but acting requires the use of emotions. A lot of the times I don't have enough skill, so I would use real power. Like filming crying scenes, I use real emotions. It's slightly difficult to find a balance. Learning now. (Said to be Sandra Ng's successor due to the role being funny?) [I] am not worthy. A lot of people told me that I am a rare comedic actress in these ten years. I am also very happy, but I insist on acting as a pretty girl version of a comedian!"
