Kenneth Ma's Wave in "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles" Dependent on Clips
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Kenneth Ma is temporarily not as eye-catching as his promiscuous father, Damian Lau, in "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles"; however, Kenneth's hairstyle is very eye-catching. Yesterday, a netizen posted a picture of him before his hair was set. Actually very cute...used three big hair clips to create a wave...like a young lady. Afterward, someone put Kenneth's wave and added two variation versions--one was Kazuhiko Hanawa, while the other was Astro Boy. All three having this hairstyle...definitely full of cuteness.
According to an expert, Kenneth's hairstyle is called a 'finger wave'...a traditional hairstyle, which is a basic skill that must be learned by those learning how to set hairstyles. Tang Wei also had this in "Lust, Caution".
Personal Note: Ha ha.... Ma Ming looks so cute! :P Always thought that his hair resembled Kazuhiko Hanawa, but never thought of Astro Boy! :P

TVB 2013 Calendar Preview
January
Bosco Wong, Aimee Chan, Kate Tsui, Raymond Lam & Linda Chung
The same group from January 2009, with the addition of Aimee.... Should have used a nicer background to match what the artistes were wearing! Don't know why Linda is off to the side and is the only one smiling.... o_O
February
Roger Kwok, Michael Tse, Michael Miu, Tavia Yeung & Fala Chen
This was supposed to be a festive theme with a lot of red in it.... What's with the wallpaper background?! o_O Don't like how the guys are in the back and are separated from the girls....
March
Nancy Wu, Christine Kuo, Kristal Tin, Mandy Wong, Sharon Chan & Selena Li
Remember Mandy saying that the girls would be wearing elegant evening gowns, but it looks more like a girls' night out...don't like the poses! Christine looks like Koni Lui here. Mandy's makeup looks bad.... o_O
April
Vincent Wong, Him Law, Jason Chan, Ron Ng, Kenneth Ma, Lai Lok Yi & Edwin Siu
Thought that the guys actually went to a shipyard to shoot this, but it looks computer-generated! Only Ron looks good here. Did not recognize Ma Ming.... o_O' Surprised that Lai Lok Yi's in here...would have liked to see Tsui Wing or Benjamin Yuen instead (actually quite surprised that no Mr. HKs were included in the calendar).
May
Nancy Sit, Susanna Kwan, Louise Lee & Michelle Yim
The same group from February 2009, with the exception of Kiki Sheung.... The poses are better here, but nothing special in this month.
June
Evergreen Mak, Lau Dan, Sunny Chan, Raymond Wong, Ben Wong & Raymond Cho
The most photoshopped month! The white collars and bow ties make me think of the Chippendales..... o_O
July
Toby Chan, Carat Cheung, Sonija Kwok, Rebecca Zhu & Tracy Ip
The picture for this month was definitely one of the better ones! Sonija still looking radiant among her juniors!
August
Samantha Ko, Lin Xia Wei, Natalie Tong, Eliza Sam, Sire Ma, Katy Kung & Vivien Yeo
Like the confined box, but don't like the shiny legs.... Surprised that Vivien is in here, as she doesn't seem to be a promoted artiste (would have preferred Elaine Yiu or Oceane Zhu)....
September
King Kong, Louis Yuen, Johnson Lee, Wong Cho Lam & Amigo Choi
Nothing special about this picture....
October
Eric Tsang, Astrid Chan, Liza Wang, Carol Cheng, Patrick Dunn & Natalis Chan
Hosts were never included in previous years...an indication that many big names are no longer in TVB....
November
Kevin Cheng, Wayne Lai, Myolie Wu & Moses Chan
Glamourously dressed, but such a bad background! Wayne, in particular, looks chok and constipated! o_O
December
Kenny Wong, Eddie Kwan, Ruco Chan, Koni Lui, Ngo Ka Nin, Queenie Chu & Oscar Leung
This was also one of the better months, especially since the artistes looked more natural in their poses and expressions. Didn't know that Eddie still has a contract with TVB....

Linda Chung and Ruco Chan Dating in the '80s
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
TVB artistes Linda Chung and Ruco Chan were in Jordan filming a Sales Presentation clip for the new series "Big Wheel". The storyline was about Ruco, who portrays a cop, saving Linda from the hands of a robber. Because of this, the two develop feelings for each other.
Linda, who had an '80s look, said, "In the series, I go from ten-something to forty-something. This is an '80s look. In the series, I portray a wealthy girl who dates Ruco without caring about family pressure. There are many romantic dating scenes. Will even have a short hairstyle after becoming a successful woman...will be performing in a wig".
Ruco has great expectations for the new series. He said, "I really like the script...has a lot of feeling. Because there are many Hong Kong stories intersecting, will have the feeling of watching 'The Greed of Man' and 'Vanity Fair' in the past. I will go from young to old. I have great expectations for this series. Hope that it will become a series that will resonate with viewers and bring memories".
Personal Note: "Big Wheel" will touch on the Hong Kong Goldsmiths Shops Robbery in 1991, so this should be Linda and Ruco's '90s look.

《師父.明白了》 "Master, Understood" Costume Fitting Pictures
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
- This is a modern-style ancient series with a manga-like look. The series has fantasy and wuxia combined with comedy and tragedy. The story will revolve around the legend of Liang Zhu. Lead Raymond Wong will continually reenact the stories of Liang Zhu with different females. The romantic storyline will be rather tragic, but it will use comedic elements as a packaging, combined with tragedy, to bring a fresh feeling.
- Raymond will play Chor Yat Chin (初一箭), a constable. He was born with no hair. After being kidnapped, he became a beggar. He was later saved by Evergreen Mak, and was taken to KK Cheung, who raised him. He is very intelligent. Everyone thinks that he is suitable to be a monk. Because of his chok looks, all the members of the opposite sex in the city are enchanted by him, including the beautiful gangster Priscilla Wong and Whitney Hui. He will constantly perform the relationships in the legend of Liang Zhu with different females. Because of his experience in the love department, the skin on his head suddenly changes, with the hair growing out and the head aching.
- Priscilla will play Foon Hei (歡喜), a crude thief who has a crush on Raymond.
- Evergreen will play Wan Tin Pong (尹天邦), Raymond's childhood saviour. He was originally a hooligan. He will influence the fate of many people.
- Kaki Leung will play Foon Ching (歡靜), a thief who is a mute.
- Cilla Kung will play Foon Siu (歡笑), a thief who is the best at martial arts in a family of thieves.
- Helena Law will play Foon Shu (歡恕), the guardian in a family of thieves.
- KK will play Lok Mo Ngai (樂無涯), Raymond's master. He was always not willing to accept Raymond as a disciple because he knows about the knot in Raymond's heart. He and Amy Fan have a thought-provoking relationship. He later goes missing, and his hair becomes white overnight.
- Whitney will play Wan Yau (溫柔), a constable who is tough on the outside but soft on the inside. She has a fiery and forthright personality. She will have a romantic storyline with Raymond and Mat Yeung.
- Mat will play Ching Ying Hung (程英雄), a constable. He is Raymond's subordinate.
- Amy will play Mok Sau (莫愁). She and KK have a thought-provoking relationship.
- Mikako Leung will play Foon Tim (歡甜), a thief.
- Kelvin Chan will play Bak Sui (北水), a constable.
- Benjamin Yuen and Katy Kung will guest-star as a couple.
FYI: The official English title of this series is "Karma Rider".

Personal Note: Was already not interested in this series after learning about the cast and the title, but the fact that it is a modern-style ancient series is even more off-putting. 囧!
Since Raymond is still filming "Record of the Fifth Day Opening", he should only be able to begin filming this series in mid-November, and he will be shaving his head then.

"At This Very Moment" - Fiona Sit

Personal Note: The pace of the first two episodes was actually not as slow as expected. Will definitely continue to watch the series!
Damian has a really strong presence...like how he says his English dialogue!
Quite like the brotherly relationship between Ma Ming and Vincent! Also like the chemistry between Mary Jeh and Elena!
During the "Scoop" interview, funny how Skye Chan asked Ma Ming whether he had a love line with Tavia. From following the news on this series, knew that they had no romantic relations; however, when Ma Ming first saw Tavia without her Hua Dan makeup in the series, it did seem as though his character liked her. :P
Idy mentioned a number of times that Damian told her to do her homework, as there are many artistes in the series who have the potential to overshadow her.

"Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles" Promotional Event 2
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
TVB's anniversary series "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles" will be premiering tonight. Yesterday, the cast had a wedding theme to promote the series.
The series' three newlyweds, Damian Lau and Tavia Yeung, Kenneth Ma and Rebecca Zhu, and Sire Ma and Adrian Chau, entered in pre-modern wedding attire. Under the witness of other cast members, they read out their vows. When Kenneth was reading out his vows to Rebecca, he laughingly said, "Very impatient. In a rush to consummate the marriage". Following this, he said to Ron Ng, who has romantic relations with Rebecca: "I'll take her physically. You take her heart". This caused Ron to look embarrassed.
Afterward, they played games that tested their love. With their eyes covered, the guys had to recognize their partners from the touch of their hands. While Adrian was seen using a light touch, Kenneth showed no hesitation, holding tightly onto the hand of the female artiste. Even when Ron's hand was added in between, also needed to touch for a long time while laughingly saying, "Why would there be a woman with such a rough hand?" In the end, Adrian lost the game, so he was punished to lift up Sire; the two also graciously accepted. Kenneth, who won, also had to lift up Rebecca.
Tavia Yeung: "Whom do I match with the most? [love you][love you][heart][heart][heart]"
Personal Note: Ha ha.... For the pictures of Ma Ming holding up Rebecca, all the captions said that he did it effortlessly, which reminded me of a "Can't Buy Me Love" promo event where Ma Ming lifted Fala with ease! :P
To answer Tavia's question on Weibo, Ron looks like her boyfriend, Damian looks like her father, Ben looks like her elder brother, while Ma Ming looks like her husband! :P

Schizophrenic Tavia Yeung Kills
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Last night, Tavia Yeung and Ben Wong were doing location filming for the series "A Great Way to Care II". The storyline was about Tavia, who has schizophrenia, 'strangling' Lee Yee Man, but was discovered by her superior and boyfriend, Ben, who used a gun as a warning; she became afraid, so she fled. Tavia, who injured her foot earlier, was walking with a limp, but still did her own running scenes, although still needed a double to do big actions. When asked whether it was labourious to portray a schizophrenic patient, Tavia said, "It is rather strenuous. Luckily, the role does not require me to always cry intensely, but frequently has hallucinations". When discussing that boyfriend Him Law has been said to have a wealthy Mainland girlfriend, Tavia laughingly said, "Deliberate news-making! (Believe in him?) No need to talk about whether believe or not. This month is 'deliberate news-making month'...treat it as helping us to promote!"
This scene was about Tavia and Lee Yee Man having a struggle in an alley. In the end, Lee Ka Ting arrived on the scene, inadvertently killing Lee Yee Man. Ben, who portrays a cop, rushed to the scene afterward; knowing that Lee Yee Man was murdered, he pulled out his gun, preparing to arrest Lee Ka Ting. In order to protect father Lee Ka Ting, Tavia uses her body to block Ben and helps Lee Ka Ting escape the scene.
Cannot Have Too Many Awards
Ben has been frequently portraying cop roles roles recently. When asked whether he found it boring, he said, "The genre of police dramas is very diverse. I have also portrayed a cop eight times. In terms of my acting age, it would not be considered a lot...went from a PC to a Superintendent". When talking about the finale of "Highs and Lows", in which he has a part in, being revealed in which many of the leading roles have to die, he said that the reports were not entirely accurate...only revealed that Michael Miu and Kate Tsui's deaths were related to him. When he, who won last year's 'Supporting Actor' award at the anniversary, was asked whether he had confidence in repeating this year, he said, "No one can have too many awards. It's like dessert. However, I am actually already really full. If also have a dessert, would rub against the stomach!"
Laughs Toward Threats
When talking about some people leaving threatening messages on Weibo, Ben laughingly said, "Would treat them as making a joke. I plan on recommending Dr. Yat Kin Tau to them!" In his new series, he is frequently competing with Raymond Lam. When asked whether he felt that fans have been leaving threatening messages due to watching too intensely, he said, "I feel the strength of fans and feel the crazy love. It's a good thing to have a reaction, but there would always be sensible viewers who know how to differentiate".
Personal Note: So many crazy fans who can't differentiate between acting and reality...don't know why some people would take the time and effort to leave meaningless messages.
Ha ha.... Funny how Ben recommended Yat Kin Tau...expected him to say Alex Fong's psychiatrist character in "Great", but I guess Yat Kin Tau can take a look at the brain and see whether there is damage! :P

Francis' impressions of Chow Yun Fat, Andy Lau, and Tony Leung were spot-on!
Didn't expect a parody of three different scenes from "The Hippocratic Crush"! :P
It was so effortless for Fala to do the bridge position!
Cho Lam was so singing like Raymond! Funny when Siu Po sprayed him with a water gun during "Let's Get Wet"! :P
Think that Wong He danced "Gangnam Style" better, but Louis actually memorized the lyrics this time! Remember Louis making up lyrics when he imitated Rain during the Anniversary Gala in 2007! :P
No difficulty for Johnson to imitate Aaron!
Expected FLS to do more with Big Bang...would have been nice for them to actually perform as well!

Melissa Ng Quickly Runs Away Upon Discovering Reporters
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Yesterday, Melissa Ng left her daughter to go shopping in Causeway Bay. After going to a number of famous shops, could see that she would be returning home with a full load. Although she had several bags, it was still not enough, so she went into a nearby chocolate shop to purchase some chocolate. Within five minutes, she purchased another big bag of her favourites. Melissa, who originally planned on shopping again, quickly discovered that there were reporters present, so she immediately left in a rush. After leaving the mall, she also immediately called her chauffeur to come pick her up to leave.
Personal Note: Miss seeing Melissa on screen!
Ha ha.... Just saw Melissa on Dodo Cheng's Weibo yesterday, and then she was caught shopping again! :P
Melissa still looks good! :)

當此刻一雙手被你緊握 不想知你快要跟她進發
時代要一天天分薄你我未來 難得一起時別要放開

無謂再分心於選擇裡 至少這一秒 跟前是我

Personal Note: From the preview, all the separate storylines seem interesting...quite captivating! Looking forward to the series! :D
Many intimate scenes for Ron and Elena!
Couldn't really recognize Fiona's low register at the beginning of the theme song. Quite like the song, but still think that it sounds too modern for a pre-modern series.

Gigi Wong Talks About TV Queen: More Interpersonal Than Actual Substance
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
When Gigi Wong, who has made the top ten for TV queen for her exquisite performance in the series "Divas in Distress", accepted a radio interview, she rejected the idea of receiving a nomination. She said, "Don't do these things. Receiving awards is about commercial value...more interpersonal than actual substance". However, she revealed that she did take notice of Mandy Wong and Eliza Sam. After collaborating with Eliza, think that her performance was not bad.
When asked which female artiste she thought highly of, Gigi said that she doesn't watch series regularly, but thought highly of Eliza. She said, "I think that Mandy and Eliza both performed very well, but Mandy was restricted by her role, so she did not stand out as much as Eliza. When I first saw Eliza's expressions during filming, already thought that she was good".
Gigi, who currently resides in Canada, expressed that she would only film one series each year. Afterward, she will film "The Hippocratic Crush II"...temporarily do not know what character she would be portraying, but heard that there would be the addition of the character Ching Chi Mei (Lawrence Ng).
Personal Note: Gigi Jeh most likely has not been updated on the info regarding the sequel. Since she played Yat Kin's mom in the first installment, it would make sense for her to reprise her role.

Wong He Imitates Psy's 'Gangnam Style'
Earlier, Wong He imitated Psy singing "Gangnam Style" on the Hunan variety programme "Your Face Sounds Familiar".
On the same episode, Fala Chen imitated Teresa Teng singing 《我只在乎你》.
Personal Note: He did the horse riding part better during rehearsal; however, he was better in the second half of the performance.
Funny how Fala said that He resembled Psy on his bottom half and Eason on his top half! :P

"Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon" Filming Sales Presentation
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Kenneth Ma, Kenny Wong, and Raymond Wong returned to TVB City today to film a Sales Presentation for the series "Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon". This series will begin filming next year. Kenneth, who has not filmed ancient series for a long time, and Raymond both portray killers in the series. Reporters laughed at Kenneth, who had long hair, for looking lustful. Kenny, who portrays the ruler of an unparallelled city, and Raymond even expressed not daring to have eye contact with Kenneth.
Kenneth explained that he is portraying Ximen with this look. The story is TVB's own creation. In the series, he will be caught between the two female leads, Aimee Chan and Priscilla Wong. Kenneth also revealed that he, Raymond, Aimee, and Priscilla will have a love square in the series. On the other hand, Raymond's look revealed his muscles. Kenny said that, because he is cold-blooded, he would be wearing more clothing.
Kenny revealed that, from what he knows about the series as of now, he will have a romantic storyline with Priscilla. Filming a dancing scene today, he will be spotted by Priscilla, who is a very incredible killer.
Personal Note: Ma Ming, Kenny, and Raymond look so 囧! The costumes are so bad! Kenny looks like a woman, while Raymond looks like an anime character! o_O
Ha ha.... Ma Ming joking about resembling Ximen Qing.... :P

"The Last Steep Ascent" Theme Song MV
"One Life, One Heart" - Hubert Wu
Repeat *
多少引誘難招架 一生一心越優雅 皺紋白髮一般美麗嗎

Ha ha.... Roger was initially afraid of having to memorize a lot of court dialogue; however, as a solicitor in the series, he should be able to avoid extensive dialogue! :P
