- Chow Ka Lok will Law Mat Au (羅密歐), a doctor. His character is rather quiet and gentle but is also passionate and cheerful. He has a lot of Shakespearean-like dialogue. His and Kayan Yau's love story is closer to the original novel; it begins with love at first sight, unable to help themselves, and the love is vigourous. There are intimate scenes.
- Kayan will play Chu Lai Yip (茱麗葉). She is very rebellious and free of outmoded ways of thinking. She has a lot of action and gun-wielding scenes.

Brian Chu Levels Up to First Male Lead, Partnering Venus Wong in Being a Virtual Lover

[Brian Chu], who has been in the industry for 12 years, is finally getting a taste of being the male lead. In October, he will film the new series "Virtual Lover" (tentative title) with Venus Wong, becoming a male version of 'Ah Po' in a romance.

Regarding levelling up to 'first male lead', he said, "Very happy to encounter a challenging role. As always, will try my best to do it well, but don't know the details yet".

The popularity of "AI Romantic", starring Ali Lee, has made TVB intensify the production of new virtual and sci-fi genres. Speaking of Ali previously saying that acting as the robot 'Ah Po' was actually very difficult, he said, "I haven't received the script yet, so not clear about the role, but from what I know, it's very different from previous AI films. Kenneth Ma said that he and Roxanne Tong have been urged to marry since they went public with their relationship, but they have their own plans for big life events and would absolutely not be secretive about it. He expressed that the character's personality is very similar to his. He has always been less talk and more action; even some behind-the-scenes people thought that he was mute when he first entered the industry. "Discussed it with the producer before filmed started. Actually, 'Tong Ming''s personality is a bit like mine. He only wants to treat people...does not want to deal with hospital politics, which is like me in real life. I always just want to do one thing well, which is acting, and I don't want to take part in extra things. Thus, when I first read the script, it was very easy for me to understand why the script was written like this. When I was acting it out, it was more advantageous". Although everyone says that he has a Zen personality, which has made his performing arts path longer than others, he has no regrets. "May have missed out, but I feel that I have been very comfortable doing it. The most important thing is whether I feel comfortable or not. It took a long time before being able to act as the lead or receive a heavy role, but at least my foundation would be better. Would not necessarily be good to act as the lead as soon as [I] debuted. Let myself lay a solid foundation before moving up...would be more stable".

Many people in the entertainment circle think that he is not proactive enough, but he said that he thinks that it is okay. "I am already more proactive than before. Many colleages in the dressing room have known me for a very long time. Talking about when I just came out of the training class back then, it turns out that everyone thought I was mute because I often sat in a corner and did not speak at all when waiting to get into position. Kenneth Ma Has a Sense of Mission in Filming Series, Reveals That Natalie Tong Complained About Being Tired Many Years Ago
