"Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2026" is having its grand final tonight. Before the new top three winners are crowned, a red carpet ceremony was held. Kenneth Ma, who is making his debut as a Miss Hong Kong host, appeared alongside his good brothers, Edwin Siu, who was wearing a deep V, and Raymond Cho. When interviewed by the hosts, Kenneth repeatedly expressed his anxiety: "Being the host of Miss Hong Kong for the first time, I am very scared...legs are also shaking". Also pointed out that [he] has already prepared beforehand, which is the seeking-for-help look, asking Luk Ho Ming, who is experienced in hosting, to come to the rescue at any time.
When Kenneth, Edwin, and Raymond were interviewed again, Kenneth was still saying that he was nervous: "Just got back from completing a fan meeting in Mainland. Also did not have time to rehearse, so very nervous. Believe that [I] will still be feeling this nervous after completing the programme and getting home". Raymond shared the sentiment, saying, "More nerve-wracking than holding a concert". Also pointed out that Edwin has experience hosting Miss Kong, laughingly saying, "[If we] mess up this time, it'll be Edwin's fault". Edwin expressed, "The three of us are in this together--we sink or swim as one. Giving it our all. We're actually also very happy that the company has given the three of us such a big show. Doing it with apprehension and caution, but hope to be able to put on a good show!" Raymond also expressed his hope to perform very well. Asked if he had given his good brothers some tips, Edwin expressed that there was no need, as each of them also had his own showing point. For instance, for Kenneth, it is definitely the natural blankness, while Raymond frequently makes blunders; thus, everyone does not need to find it very strange. Edwin said that, because the three had just released the new song 《三生有幸》, even intially thought that [they] had been invited as guest performers for the Miss Hong Kong final. Asked if [they] would take the opportunity to sing a few words, he said, "Already need a while to memorize the script, how would [I] be able to remember the song lyrics, too?"
Mentioning that the three are responsible for asking the contestants questions during the swimsuit segment, the three immediately became excited. Kenneth jokingly said that Edwin had already been waiting for many years. Edwin inmediately expressed, "If not, would not do it (host)". Raymond also frankly said, "The most happy thing is this part!" The three also highly praised the 12 contestants for already displaying great charm during rehearsals, being more quick-witted than they are.
Did they tell their other halves after founding out that they had to host Miss Hong Kong? Edwin said that his wife trusts him, so would not be suspicious of them or say something to give them a hard time about it. Raymond jokingly said that he had not spoken to his wife since finding out. Kenneth expressed that he actually told his wife to not watch it...afraid of letting [her] see [his] blundering performance.
Kenneth also said that he would rather have dead air than say the wrong thing on stage because there are numerous executives present in the audience, causing Edwin to to say with added psychological pressure, "Was not nervous originally, but hearing him say that makes [me] nervous, too". As for Edwin's sexy look, he said that it was related to the Hong Kong contestants: "Everyone has also worked so hard to lose ten-plus pounds. I also cannot lose face. Have also been exercising for the past few weeks. Hope to unintentionally expose [myself]. Actually, the outfit was chosen by the designer; there was only one available". Kenneth also said that [he] did not have a choice in the matter; otherwise, would not have to act as a host, but it is also a happy matter. Edwin also said that he believes that this collaboration would definitely be a wonderful memory for them...even heard that there is a chance to collaborate again on a variety programme.
Regarding Tong Chun Chung coming back out, Kenneth pointed out that his father-in-law has always had commercial performances...simply has not filmed a series for a long time, and also said that, if he were to hold another concert, would consider inviting his father-in-law as a guest performer. However, his father-in-law is very busy...have to ask the elder about his wishes first. Finally, talking about Chantel Yiu, who had tried to send him a letter as a young fan when she was in primary school, Edwin said, "I only knew about it much later. If [I[ had known sooner, she probably would have made her debut even earlier".

Kenneth Ma Nervous to the Point of Legs Shaking in Hosting Debut, Passes with 'Natural Blankness'
"Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2026" concluded successfully [tonight]. TV king Kenneth, who acted as one of the hosts for the first time, admitted before the show that he was so nervous that his legs were shaking; however, in the end, there were no major blunders, successfully completing the mission by using his signature 'natural blankness' on stage. After the show, Kenneth accepted an interview with his two partners, Edwin and Raymond. When Kenneth was asked to rate his performance, he said, "I don't dare to give [myself] a score. I am still memorizing 「轉頭見」 and 「出年見」!" Edwin and Raymond laughingly said that it felt as if a weight had been lifted from their shoulders, pointing out that there was no problem with Kenneth's performance. Edwin said, "It was okay. Actually, the three of us are often together. If one were missing, it would feel incomplete. Whether things go well or not, the three of us would also face it together". Raymond jokingly said, "If [you] even mess up saying 'see you in a bit' and 'see you next year', would actually have to get [your] contract terminated!"
Asked if [he] would consider hosting if the company invited [him] again next year, Kenneth laughingly said that the company likely would not consider it. Asked if the emcee script was tailored specifically for him, he said, "Definitely. They wrote the script to accommodate me. Definitely have to give credit to Luk Ho Ming and Leonard Cheng; they took all the tough, technical stuff. Next, it was Edwin and Raymond, and I got whatever was left over. Next time, what [I] hope for the most is that [they] leave me with a single word...ha ha".
