- The series is a fantasy comedy with the main line of the series being the encounter of two non-biolocally related people who look exactly the same. The two characters played by Joe Ma meet and become acquainted, and will lead to a series of disasters, pushing the development of the plot forward.
- Joe will play two characters: successful lawyer Albert Ko Sau Sing (高收成) and artsy person Mo Kei Nam (巫祺男), a grassroots character with low desires and is initially a legal assistant. Both characters have a romantic storyline with Alice Chan: 'Ko Sau Sing' is Alice's husband, while 'Mo Kei Nam' is Alice's lover who has a crush on her. When they later switch their identities and pretend to be one another, he gets close to Alice, whom he has had a crush on for a long time.
- Alice will play Flora Lee Chi Ying (利梓楹), a solicitor who is not very career-oriented. She is a conservationist. She is John Chiang's daughter; she is the daughter of a wealthy family. She met the artsy Joe 18 years ago, and she thought it was the other guy, mistakenly marrying him. She is 'Ko Sau Sing''s wife.
- Angel Chiang will play Skylar Kam Ka Ling (甘嘉苓), an ambitious solicitor who is extraordinary yet slightly complicated. She has to help her family find out a truth because her father died. She is very smart and cunning, but she would not harm others; however, she would do things by fair means or foul to reach her goal. She gets misunderstood as a woman who craves fame and gain and would do anything to achieve her goal; however, because she has an objective, she is always getting close to John to get revenge and to find evidence around him. She is very clever; thus, John greatly admires her, and she also helps his son-in-law, Joe. John treats her as a goddaughter and had supported her education; thus, she greatly repays him, helping him do things that cross the boundaries, whereas his son-in-law would not. Slowly, she joins Joe's law firm and becomes a partner. Matthew Ho is her guardian angel who really likes her, but she has not accepted his love. She is not in the mood to date, but she knows that Matthew really adores her; she also likes him, but she has another objective that takes priority, so she is not really in the mood for romance. Later, she and Matthew have an older female and younger male romance.
- Roxanne Tong will play Yu Fung (俞風), the person in the dreams of Joe's youth. She and 'Mo Tik Nam' are first loves and exes, but he leaves without saying goodbye; later, he goes to the farm to find her, wanting to make up for abandoning her. They re-encounter one another 18 years later, and then something strange happens. She does things that are not so good due to difficulties than cannot be mentioned.
- Tsui Wing will play Richie Ku Lit Chi (古烈治), a mentally handicapped person with the IQ of a ten-year-old. He is a farm worker. He has a romantic storyline with Roxanne.
- Matthew will play Otis Po Yik Chun (蒲亦駿), a legal assistant. He gets caught between Rosita Kwok and Angel, forming a love triangle. He is Joe's younger cousin; he is the only person who knows that Joe has two identities.
- Rosita will play Amber Seung Yi On (尚意安), a pupil lawyer who likes to pole dance to reduce stress. She is a person who loves to learn. She comes from a family of lawyers. She, Matthew, and Angel are involved in a love triangle.
- John will play Lee Koon Hang (利冠鏗), a property developer. He is a sly boss.
- Bak Biu will play Joe's father. He is in a case.
- Winki Lai will play Joe's housemate. She and Joe are basically enemies at first, as he messes everything up for her, so she decides to stir up trouble. She is a very weird person. Joe burned her house down, so she asks him to repay her, but he is very poor, and she is also very poor; thus, they go everywhere to find ways to make money. She and Joe are a pair that cons people out of their money.
- Griselda Yeung works at a law firm. She and Alice are good friends.
- Lesley Chiang will guest-star in a case.
- William Chak will play Lei Tai Yu (利大渝), a rich second generation with great ambition, but his ability is quite lacking, so he always makes mistakes. He is a loyal brown noser. The resentment from the mistakes brings out the story. He is John's stepson and Alice's younger paternal cousin. He greatly admires John; John is slightly bad, so he does John's dirty work for him. He also greatly admires Joe.
- Toby Chan is in a case.
- Yuki Law will play the younger version of Roxanne's character. She and 'Ko Sau Sing' are young lovers. She loves Telford too much, so she frequently takes the initiative.
- Telford Wong will play the younger version of Joe's character.
- William Chu works at a law firm.
- Lena Li is in a case.
- Alan Tam works at a law firm.
- Linna Huynh works at a law firm.
- Janice Pang will play Apple Chui Siu Mik (隋小冪), a person with mild autism. She is a farm worker.
- Jeremy Wong will guest-star in a case.
- Kelvin Leung will play Lam Ho Chuen (林浩全), a dyslexic person with a normal IQ. He is a farmer who is passionate about plants.
- Kwan Wai Lun is in a case.
- Derek Mackesy will play a rich second generation. He has more scenes with a few of the lawyers. He is in a case.
- Carmen Ngai will play the younger version of Alice's character.
- Alex Yung is in a case.
- Kris Lam will play a cruel lackey.
- Fung So Bor will play a boatwoman.
- Jim Tang will play a manager.
- Karlie Chung will play a secretary.
- Rachel Wong will play Kate (楹).
- Athena Ng will play a secretary.
- Doniven Chan will play a professional doctor.
- Deborah Poon will play a security guard.
- Kelvin Yuen will play a trendy debt collector. He is also Joe's body double.
