Rebecca Zhu and Wayne Lai Filming "Freedom in the Sky" in February

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

Rebecca Zhu was rumoured to have been ousted from TVB's grand production "Rosy Business IV", and the filming date of this series has been postponed from last year to now. It is known that it is tentatively scheduled to commence at the end of the year.

Rebecca has always been proactively upgrading herself in anticipation of filming a series again. Recently, there is the good news that [she] will be filming TVB's new series, "Freedom in the Sky". It is known that the new series is using the film industry as the story background with 'qinggong' as its theme. This is a warm modern series produced by Wong Wai Sing. Presently, the starring cast has tentatively been set to be Rebecca, Wayne Lai, Joman Chiang, and Brian Chu. When Rebecca was interviewed [today], she acknowledged this matter but does not specifically know when work starts. When talking about finally being able to work with Wayne this time, she said, "Really looking forward to it. Will definitely learn a lot!"

As for Wayne, who is in Mainland, he said in an interview, "I only know that there is a series commencing in February, but do not know which actors will be in the series because [I] have not discussed the details with the producer yet".

Rebecca Zhu Filming "Rosy Business IV" at the End of August

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

Rebecca Zhu has been assigned to act in "Rosy Business IV", playing Wayne Lai's younger sister and having a moving love story with Him Law, an 'early Republic rogue' in the series. The team is tentatively scheduled to head up to Hengdian at the end of August to prepare and to start shooting.

The reporter contacted Rebecca afterward, and she explained, "Actually, I didn't disappear. It's just that the company originally arranged for me to go to Mainland to shoot a variety programme. Held up my schedule but was delayed due to the pandemic. Because of the situation, the series crews also cannot utilize me, so now, I am taking advantage of my free time, as I want to apply for some courses to further my studies. Originally thought about getting a pamphlet for the performing arts course and visiting the teachers as well; we have also kept in touch all these years. Have no choice but to find another chance to do so now! (Going to Mainland in August to shoot a series?) You guys have caught wind of it even faster than I did. I really don't know anything. It's certainly good if it's true. Under the pandemic, having work is the most important thing. Anyway, if there is new news, will definitely announce it".

Sheren Tang Filming "Rosy Business IV"?

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

TVB's classic "Rosy Business" franchise will be filming a fourth installment in March. This time, the male and female leads are Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang!

Sheren is filming another TVB series again. It is known that, apart from this series being a fairly huge production, TVB executive Felix To also personally gave an invite so that the classic from back then can appear again! This time, "Rosy" is filming its fourth installment. TVB will be collaborating with a Mainland company and is considered a large-scale co-production. It is expected to start filming in March to May of next year. The story is set in the early Republic and is a brand new story. In order to have beautiful scenes for the shoot, TVB will also be sending a big team to Mainland to work; of course, it depends on the development of the pandemic. As for the other cast members, it is still under discussion. The initial candidates are Rebecca Zhu, Gabriel Harrison, and Pinky Cheung, but everyone has not received any notice for the time being. Everything will not be finalized until after a meeting and discussion.

Having a big chance of collaborating with the two good actors Wayne and Sheren, Rebecca laughingly said, "Although an official notice has not been received, there has been a lot of people passing this news to me. Already very excited to just hear about it...very happy!" As for this series' producer, Fong Chun Chiu, he admitted that he has plans to look for Sheren to come back, but it is still presently in the preliminary stages and has not been decided yet.

Wayne Lai: Very Happy and Greatly Looking Forward to It

hk01 contacted Wayne to ask him if the news was true. He replied, "Because [I] am busy filming 'Fighting' now, have initially heard of this idea. If there is an opportunity to collaborate with Sheren again, would certainly look forward to and be happy about it. If there is more news, will tell you again. Thank you".

"Rosy Business"'s copy editor, Cheung Wah Biu, admitted in an interview with hk01 that he is responsible for writing the script for the fourth installment this time, but was not willing to disclose other relevant information.

Rumoured pair Kenneth Ma and Rebecca Zhu attended a brand event as a couple partnership. When being interviewed, Rebecca stood on the side, letting 'boyfriend' answer for her, and even frequently smiling sweetly while looking at Kenneth.

Kenneth expressed being happy and not being awkward: "Can make money and see a pretty girl. (The fee is higher for couple partnerships?) Didn't ask. Heard that it is higher". Rebecca immediately laughingly said, "Thank you for bringing along benefit to me!" Kenneth frankly said that he does not mind continuing to make money as a couple partnership: "There's noise...more interesting...also easier for everyone to write! Viewers are also happier when watching!" When Kenneth was asked whether he would be giving Rebecca a ride after finishing the event, Rebecca immediately laughingly said, "We are going in different cars. Don't follow me". In order to make money, Kenneth laughingly said that he does not mind picking Rebecca up after work: "Consider it next time...can create more noise!"

Kenneth shaved his head to film the ancient series "The Beauty of Bureaucracy". He pointed out that he had already shaved his head twice before...not afraid of his hair not being able to grow back. Rebecca wanted to help him explain but said the wrong thing: "His hair is quite thick. (How do you know?) Touched it before when filming". Kenneth also said that he frequently collaborates with Tavia Yeung...afraid of viewers finding it boring, hinting at looking forward to collaborating with Rebecca again.

Kenneth, who was previously rumoured with Tracy Chu, laughingly said that almost every colleague with the surname 'Chu' in the entire company has been connected to him. He said, "Apart from Mimi [Chu], I have been rumoured with them all. (Changing your taste?) Must ask Mimi".

Personal Note: Ha ha.... DSC really likes inviting Ma Ming's rumoured partners to its events. Last year, it was Natalie, and the year before, it was Selena. :)

Bobby Au Yeung Promotes New Series While Wet

Artistes Bobby Au Yeung, Esther Kwan, etc. were promoting the TV series "Always and Ever" on a double decker bus in Tsim Sha Tsui. Under the hot weather, Bobby was so hot that he became wet. He expressed that he hopes to go to the beach to promote next time: "Can wear swimwear. Even if it's hot, can go into the water. (Who would you want to see wear it?) Want to see everyone!" He even laughingly said that he would bring out the one-piece bathing suit he bought when he filmed "The File of Justice" 20 years ago.

As for Esther, she humourously said that she would wear a t-shirt inside and swimwear on the outside. She revealed that, after watching "Always", her daughter has become full of questions, asking why Uncle Ben [Wong] is a bad guy, and even praised Uncle Bobby as being very cute, and also thinks that the silly look on his face is very funny.

Personal Note: Ha ha.... Bobby's funny! Would he still be able to fit that bathing suit after 17 years?! :P

Yesterday, Kenneth Ma and Rebecca Zhu attended an event at Landmark North as a rumoured couple partnership...had a harmonious performance. When asked whether they were accepting a rumoured couple partnership fee this time, Kenneth laughingly said, "Of course! But just had one job after being rumoured for so long. Really don't know if it's a good price. It's rumoured that couple partnerships tend to be more expensive. I didn't ask about the fee. Everything is handled by the company. Also do not mind continuing to make money like this. (When upgrading to a real couple, the fee would be more expensive?) Should be about the same. Just making money. (If see each other more, would there be sparks?) Already had sparks when filming the series. All in all, more events and make more money".

Rebecca, who was on the side, expressed not minding doing shows as a couple partnership. The most important is that there is money to be made. As for whether she would be paying his house a visit on Chinese New Year, she laughingly said, "Must work on New Year's, but remember Kenneth giving me a red pocket last year".

Personal Note: Funny how the reporter in clip said that they're waiting for Ma Ming and Morning to hand out red pockets together! :P

Rebecca Zhu Choosing a Boyfriend: Forced to Have Kenneth Ma

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

0102

Last year's Miss Hong Kong winner, Rebecca Zhu, was fortunate to collaborate with TVB's two handsome guys, Kenneth Ma and Ron Ng, in her first series. She was full of praises for the two. If she had to choose one of the two, she laughingly said, "They're both tall and handsome. Any girl would like them! Really very difficult to choose. Kenneth is also right beside me. If I don't choose him, he may get mad at me!" Kenneth immediately looked at her and said, "Well, it is really quite difficult to choose because I'm sitting beside you...unless you take my exterior!"

Before Kenneth worked with Rebecca, he did not know who she was: "Truthfully, didn't really know who she was. Knew that she was a Miss Hong Kong winner. It was only the first day of filming 'Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles' with her that I knew how she looked". Rebecca even revealed that, before filming, Kenneth called her by the wrong name: "One day, he thought that I was someone else, but will not say whom he mistook me for!" Kenneth immediately interrupted, "Really? Really don't remember. Called you Fala Chen? Ha ha!"

The two of them became familiar with each other because of filming series. Kenneth even created a nickname for her. He laughingly said, "We created 'Morning Beautiful Zhu' for her. Many people with nicknames would get popular, but thought that it was too long, so called her 'Morning Zhu' afterward". However, Rebecca frankly said that it's extremely difficult to take in: "At first, was really not used to hearing it. Thought that the name was really weird, but he liked calling me that, so can't help it".

During the "Scoop" interview, funny how Skye Chan asked Ma Ming whether he had a love line with Tavia. From following the news on this series, knew that they had no romantic relations; however, when Ma Ming first saw Tavia without her Hua Dan makeup in the series, it did seem as though his character liked her. :P

Idy mentioned a number of times that Damian told her to do her homework, as there are many artistes in the series who have the potential to overshadow her.

TVB's anniversary series "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles" will be premiering tonight. Yesterday, the cast had a wedding theme to promote the series.

The series' three newlyweds, Damian Lau and Tavia Yeung, Kenneth Ma and Rebecca Zhu, and Sire Ma and Adrian Chau, entered in pre-modern wedding attire. Under the witness of other cast members, they read out their vows. When Kenneth was reading out his vows to Rebecca, he laughingly said, "Very impatient. In a rush to consummate the marriage". Following this, he said to Ron Ng, who has romantic relations with Rebecca: "I'll take her physically. You take her heart". This caused Ron to look embarrassed.

Afterward, they played games that tested their love. With their eyes covered, the guys had to recognize their partners from the touch of their hands. While Adrian was seen using a light touch, Kenneth showed no hesitation, holding tightly onto the hand of the female artiste. Even when Ron's hand was added in between, also needed to touch for a long time while laughingly saying, "Why would there be a woman with such a rough hand?" In the end, Adrian lost the game, so he was punished to lift up Sire; the two also graciously accepted. Kenneth, who won, also had to lift up Rebecca.
