Wong Cho Lam Pulls Out of New Ancient Series, Focusing on Dealing with Variety Shows!

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

TVB's Chief Creative Officer Wong Cho Lam was originally returning to TVB to film an ancient comedy in April, but it is known that, because he has to assist Deputy General Manager Eric Tsang in completing the reform of variety programmes, he has too many things to attend to simultaneously for the time being, so he has already officially pulled out. In an interview with on.cc, he said, "Rather busy with the variety show side for the time being. Want to concentrate on assisting [Eric] to deal with the variety show work first. (Have you come up with programme ideas yet?) [Eric] and I are doing our jobs. Keeping everyone guessing first".

The leads in the series, such as Sisley Choi, Jeannie Chan, et al., have not received the news yet. Sisley said, "I indeed did not hear about it. Just passively waiting for news". Asked whether she would feel disappointed to not be able to work with Cho Lam, she said, "If he is really not filming it, he would definitely have a better arrangement in his plan. I am also waiting for the company's arrangement. Any arrangement is also good". Jeannie expressed, "I only know the series title, who the producer is, and when shooting takes place; however, the shifting of actors is a common thing. It has always been decided before there is a meeting, so I don't know anything, but I am also really looking forward to this series. For one, I have not filmed in ancient costume before, and two, I really like filming comedies. Also very excited!"

Wong Cho Lam Returning to TVB to Film Ancient Series, Sisley Choi and Owen Cheung Looking Forward to It

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

Wong Cho Lam will be returning to TVB in April to film an ancient comedy, and will even be filming with new 'TV Queen' Sisley Choi and Owen Cheung, who has had a surge in popularity. Others taking part include Jeannie Chan, Christine Ng, et al. Having Cho Lam, the master of comedy, will surely bring happiness to everyone and create laughter. Regarding returning to TVB to film a series after many years, he frankly said in an interview with on.cc, "Yes! Catherine [Tsang] and I had already been discussing this project over a year ago! I roughly heard the idea...also very happy and very funny! Actually, everyone also has the sincerity to collaborate. Finally able to make it in [my] schedule to come back to film. Believe that everyone would definitely collaborate happily".

As for new 'TV Queen' Sisley, who has only filmed one ancient series, "Recipes to Live By" since entering the industry, she frankly said in an interview that making viewers laugh is the most difficult. She said, "If able to collaborate with Cho Lam, Owen, and Jeannie, it would certainly be a new attempt. I have worked with Owen many times but really have not tried it in ancient costume. I think that we would definitely be able to bring out a lot of new elements and create different sparks. As for Jeannie, although she and I are good friends, we really have not had so many partnering scenes. Plus, [I] have seen Cho Lam for work before but really have not collaborated before. I want to learn his kind of quick-wittedness and script-twisting techniques the most. A lot of fans also previously said that they look forward to me filming in ancient costume, so I really look forward to the entire matter". Speaking of it being relaxing when filming this series, she said, "Comedy is not easy! Making people laugh is very difficult. (Is it easy to make viewers cry or laugh?) Wa! Making people laugh and cry really has to rely on the plot to propel it. Both are very difficult. Making people laugh while crying or cry while laughing is the most incredible. (Owen has comedic potential?) He absolutely can".

As for Owen, who is currently busy filming "Fighting", admitted that he has not received any news, but speaking of collaborating with Cho Lam, he said, "Back then, we collaborated in 'Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk; afterward, there was none. If there is a chance, certainly want to film with him, but it is set in stone yet. I am also waiting for a notification". Speaking of working with Sisley again, he said, "We are great partners. Don't have to worry about what subject matter [we] are filming".

'Fuk Luk Sau' Imitations Explosion

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

Wong Cho Lam, Johnson Lee, and Louis Yuen accepted on.cc's interview earlier to promote their 'Fuk Luk Sau' concert, which will be held next month. Host Sherman Lee certainly had to challenge them, respectively preparing 'classic lines' and 'people', having them draw lots, and then having to imitate that character and read out the corresponding line. Cho Lam had to sing out "Infernal Affairs"'s classic line, 'Three years later, and then another three years', as Liza Wang. Afterward, Johnson also said Sunny Chan's classic line, 'Is it fair?", in "At the Threshold of an Era" as 'Hui Man Piu'.

Johnson Lee and Louis Yuen Recommend Wong Cho Lam to Shoot Romantic Action Film

Johnson Lee, Louis Yuen, and Wong Cho Lam recently accepted host Sherman Lee's interview and played games. During this, Louis was chosen by Johnson and Cho Lam as 'knowing how to earn money the best' and 'whose gags are the cheesiest'. When the three were asked whom they would recommend to be the male lead of a romantic action film, Johnson and Louis both recommended Cho Lam, and even said that, if he were to film AV, it would be very enjoyable to watch!

Wong Cho Lam Kissed Granny Hui Bik Kei Before?!

Earlier, Wong Cho Lam, Johnson Lee, and Louis Yuen accepted on.cc's interview and played games. This time, 'Fuk Luk Sau' had to ask each other questions, and the person who is unable to answer or does not answer has to pump the gun. Whoever causes the balloon in the middle of the gun to pop loses. When Cho Lam asked, 'Try to say three female artistes who filmed a kiss scene with Cho Lam before". Johnson answered first but could not answer; later, Cho Lam revealed the answer, which included Kitty Yuen, Linda Chung, and Christine Kuo, and most unexpectedly, Cho Lam also kissed Granny Hui Bik Kei before.

Ada Choi Returning to TVB to Film "Inbound Troubles III"

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

The third installment of "Inbound Troubles" is set to film in November. Because Joey Meng is doing a play, she is unable to take part. Ada Choi is set to play the female lead. Other actors include original cast members Roger Kwok, Wong Cho Lam, May Chan, etc. Louis Cheung will guest-star, while Ivana Wong, who is busy with concert matters, is also discussing whether she would guest-star.

Ada Choi Makes Much Less for Wong Cho Lam: Expected When Filming TVB Series

Ada was asked whether she is making much less by collaborating with good friend Cho Lam. Ada laughingly said, "Filming TVB series, expected to not make money there. I also want myself to be happy. Previously filming series in Mainland, it was always being dubbed over. As for TVB, all of it is live sound recording...more enjoyable! (The series attracts popularity and awards.) Actually, whatever I do, I would not think about getting popular before doing it, and would also not think about having awards before doing it. Would only think about doing a production that I like. Also, I got popular in TVB. Should really return to my mother company to film series".

Roger Kwok Worried About Wong Cho Lam's Health

When asked whether he would have pressure filming again, since the feedback and ratings for the previous two installments were not bad, Roger said, "Leaving the pressure to Cho Lam. His pressure is greater than mine. Hope that he takes care of his health. He is doing movies, scripts...really cannot spare time to attend to something else. Luckily, 'Inbound' has always had many people...would not be fully centralized. Actually, Cho Lam has also written it to accommodate us. I have confidence in his script. He has been working on it for a half year or so". Roger expressed that, this time, he is portraying a principal in the series. When asked whether he would be a mischievous principal, he said, "In Cho Lam's hands, how could there be nothing to do? However, this time, the looks would not be that exaggerated. Also, Ada can be serious and funny. When we filmed 'At the Threshold of an Era', we collaborated very happily. Believe that it would be the same this time".

Cho Lam feels happy to be able to get Ada to return to TVB to film a series: "She really has not returned (to TVB) for a long time! This time, apart from being friends, I previously told her about the role. After hearing it, she was also very interested. Now, she is already a wife and a mother. The role is mommy-related. Ada is very interested in the cast and crew. Everyone is very good. She also believes that everyone would collaborate very happily". Regarding Roger hoping that Cho Lam would be able to handle it, Cho Lam laughingly said, "Very thankful to Roger for caring so much about my health. Still working hard now. I have taken part in the scriptwriting work, but have also left it to scriptwriting team. Really have too many matters to handle...cannot spare time to attend to something else. Also, after the first and second installments, they are also very skilled...certainly not a problem".

Louis Cheung Has an Attachment Toward "Inbound Troubles", Must Film Even Without Sleeping!

Louis is confirmed to film TVB's new 50-episode series. Allegedly, because he has an attachment toward the "Inbound" series, he would rather sacrifice his resting time to insist on filming the third installment. Unfortunately, because of schedule problems, Louis can only guest-star, filming six or seven episodes.

Louis admitted over the phone: "Yes, I will be filming both series. Regarding 'Inbound', I really have an attachment. Because of this series, I had a chance to be recognized by everyone. Also, I really want to collaborate with Roger..these good actors. Also, I collaborated very happily with the entire cast and crew. (What is your role in 'Inbound III'?) Don't know yet. (Would not be able to sleep having to film both series together?) Would not be overlapping too much. Actually, in between the two series, I also have to film a movie. I also experienced this situation before. Encountering such a good series and actors, not a big deal to sleep less".

Personal Note: Did not think of Ada as a female lead candidate (as she has been away from the TVB scene for a number of years), although not unexpected given her friendship with Cho Lam.

Hope that this installment will be more like that first one!

Repeat *

"I Am Married!" - Linda Chung

To all my friends, viewers, and media friends who care about me:

Today, I am announcing that I am married!

Thanks to the media friends for their concern toward me until now; however, those who know me know that, regarding romance and family matters, I have always kept a low profile, hoping to do my best to protect my family that does not belong in the entertainment industry. In my heart, I have always hoped to be the same as everyone, to be able to have my own family and have an ordinary and blissful life.

Thank you, Lord. At the beginning of last year, I finally encountered him, my husband, Jeremy from Vancouver. Since knowing each other, we discovered that we share the same values, beliefs, and countless topics. He is mature and steady, full of love, a devout lover of the Lord, and is also gentle and considerate toward me.

Our love has also gained the support of our parents. The elders also hope for us to get married and have children, and I also hope to build a simple and blissful family with Jeremy.

Finally, last autumn, Jeremy proposed to me, and I accepted it because I am certain that he is the Mr. Right in my life. At the end of last year, we held a solemn and simple wedding witnessed by our parents and God. We are also respecting the elders' wishes to choose an auspicious day, on February 27th, to hold a wedding banquet to share our happiness with family and friends.

Here, I have to thank my sisters, Amazing Esthers: Leanne [Li], Eliza [Sam], Grace [Wong], and Christine [Kuo]. It was hard on you, keeping this secret for me for too long! Thank you, Miss [Virginia] Lok and the TVB Artistes Department, for protecting my privacy by making all sorts of accommodations and arrangements when this relationship was just beginning.

Thanks to all my friends who care about me, especially the media friends. You have also been very protective of me. Hope that you 'love me, love my dog', and protect my husband, Jeremy, and understand that he does not necessarily know how to face the media.

Lastly, I thank God for letting me encounter Jeremy. Hope that the Lord guards and blesses our marriage!

Also, bless each and every one of you to also be safe and blissful!

Linda Chung
