TVB series "When Heaven Burns", which then starred Moses Chan, Bowie Lam, and Kenny Wong, is popular among netizens. The three, who have not gathered together in a while, united in the first online promotional clip for this year's "Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation". Because this year is the 30th anniversary of the "Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation", the organizer made the precious stage design of the awards presentation over the years into a 3D stage to give to the singers who have contributed to the music industry. That day, Moses, Bowie, and Kenny filmed on a rooftop in order to recreate the ending of "Heaven", which was their classic band scene on the rooftop. On the day of filming, the three's matching clothing made the staff members think that they specially matched their clothing, but behind the cameras, the three unanimously said that they did not match their clothing beforehand, simply 'matching more than playing in a band'!
In reality, it was a rare gathering for the three guys, as they rewatched the clip of them winning 2012's '903 Music My Favourite Song Award' as the hot favourite. Looking back on the situation of them winning that night, Moses laughingly said, "Such a big award...just unintentionally given to us like that. So awesome!"

Ruco Chan Denies Sparking with Ankie Beilke
Artiste Ruco Chan took part in Sales Presentation filming, revealing that he will play a computer programmer in the series "Eye in the Sky". There was even a terrifying scene! When discussing his rumours with Ankie Beilke, he dismissed them with a laugh, expressing that the majority of the cast members are already married; perhaps it was because of this that he became the target of having rumours. He also said that he got to know Ankie from filming series...both are friends! He also revealed that, when he dates some day, he would publicly reveal it...would not deny or avoid it.

Artiste Kenny Wong filmed a Sales Presentation for the series "Eye in the Sky", revealing that he may film three series, able to portray a good guy and a bad guy! He also expressed that he still has a period of time in his contract with TVB.
Fred Cheng Denies Turning Down Series Because of Getting Promoted
Artiste Fred Cheng filmed a Sales Presentation for the series "Eye in the Sky", frankly saying that it was his first time taking part in the Sales Presentation. He, who has been busy doing shows and commercial performances recently, expressed hoping to be able to film more series in the coming year!
"The Voice of the Stars" will have its final on the weekend. Fred expressed having confidence and being nervous toward the competition. Up to now, he thinks highly of Corinna Chamberlain and Ronald Law, and also said that Hoffman Cheng has a lot of stage experience...must learn a lot.
In the new series "Midas", Fred was supposed to portray the role of a chef; however, allegedly, because TVB wants to promote Fred to be a singer, Fred was taken out at the last minute in fear of affecting his image. Fred said that, because he had to take part in events and commercial performances, there was a schedule clash with the series, and thus had to turn down the series; it was not to protect his image.
TVB was in Nanking Street, Jordan, filming a Sales Presentation for the series "Eye in the Sky". That day, the storyline was about Tony Hung, who is a cop, bringing along subordinate Fred Cheng and successfully solving a case. A few masked criminals were also caught, but Tony was then shot and killed by killer Tavia Yeung, who was waiting on a rooftop earlier. After shooting and killing Tony on a rooftop, Tavia, wearing black gloves, left.

Moses Chan Gets Pranked: Rushed by the Entire Audience to Marry

Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, and Bowie Lam attended a countdown event to welcome CNY. Kenny immediately encouraged Bowie to return to TVB. Bowie said, "It's very easy for me to come back...just change the [employee] card. (You shouldn't charge so expensively?) How can TVB be expensive? You ask Moses, and you'll know!" As for the song 'Young Ignorance' winning many awards, Bowie said, "I think even Eason Chan may want to duet with us. (Release an album?) See whether TVB is interested".
On the other hand, Moses was rushed by the audience to get married the entire night. When he brought out red pockets to hand out, Kenny immediately tricked him and said, "You already got married?" Moses was immediately teased that he would have to hand out double red pockets next year, which caused his face to turn red on the spot. Moses said, "Got it! Thank you! (Looking at business premises to prepare to get married?) I, myself, am looking. It's not for proposing".
Charmaine Sheh Wants Money, Not Baby
Charmaine Sheh attended a countdown event to welcome CNY. As for the rumour about purchasing a $40 million mansion in Happy Valley, she laughingly said, "It's not $40 million! ($20,000 off of $40 million?) Ha ha.... However, there is already somebody asking me to sell...I want to keep it first". She visited Timmy Hung and Janet Chow's son earlier, and pointed out that he resembles Timmy a lot. When asked whether Charmaine wanted to welcome a wedding or a happy event in the Year of the Snake, she said, "Already have many babies for me to play with...still make money first".

'Young Ignorance' Wins Song Award at RTHK

Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, and Bowie Lam received the last 'Top Ten Chinese Gold Song Award'. On the stage, Moses was again teased by the host for his Mandarin, requesting for him to say his acceptance speech in Mandarin. Pretending to use broken Cantonese, he laughingly said, "Actually, my Mandarin is okay!" On the other hand, Bowie 'challenged' the singers below the stage: "We've decided to not act. Joining the music industry. You guys must be more careful". As for Kenny, just like a singer, he thanked the fans for their support.

"Young Ignorance", sung by Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, and Kenny Wong, defeated the other four songs with an overwhelming 3,404 votes, winning '903 Music My Favourite Song Award', bringing the night to its climax. Kenny laughingly said, "Don't really dare to talk. Many people down there have many years...many years". Bowie laughingly said, "Actually, we are actors!" When the three sang, everyone got up to sing along and clap!
"Young Ignorance" also received 'WeChat Chit Chat Music Industry Most Hot Selection Song', which was a newly added award voted by WeChat users.

'Young Ignorance' Wins CASH: Unfortunately Lacking Bowie Lam to Perform Together

Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, and Bowie Lam won 'Best Vocal Collaborations' at CASH's awards ceremony for TVB's "When Heaven Burns" [sub] song, "Young Ignorance". Unfortunately, Bowie is working in Mainland; thus, under the circumstances of three without one, could not perform live. Moses and Kenny said that they did not expect the song to win a music award for a second time. "When Heaven Burns" can be said to be a miraculous journey. For the song to be able to win an award at the CASH awards ceremony can be considered a classic and praise for them as TV people.

"Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon" Filming Sales Presentation

Kenneth Ma, Kenny Wong, and Raymond Wong returned to TVB City today to film a Sales Presentation for the series "Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon". This series will begin filming next year. Kenneth, who has not filmed ancient series for a long time, and Raymond both portray killers in the series. Reporters laughed at Kenneth, who had long hair, for looking lustful. Kenny, who portrays the ruler of an unparallelled city, and Raymond even expressed not daring to have eye contact with Kenneth.
Kenneth explained that he is portraying Ximen with this look. The story is TVB's own creation. In the series, he will be caught between the two female leads, Aimee Chan and Priscilla Wong. Kenneth also revealed that he, Raymond, Aimee, and Priscilla will have a love square in the series. On the other hand, Raymond's look revealed his muscles. Kenny said that, because he is cold-blooded, he would be wearing more clothing.
Kenny revealed that, from what he knows about the series as of now, he will have a romantic storyline with Priscilla. Filming a dancing scene today, he will be spotted by Priscilla, who is a very incredible killer.
Personal Note: Ma Ming, Kenny, and Raymond look so 囧! The costumes are so bad! Kenny looks like a woman, while Raymond looks like an anime character! o_O

Sober Band @ Paul Wong Rockestra Concert

Paul Wong's two-day Hong Kong Coliseum concert kicked off last night. Apart from inviting many orchestra members, fusing rock and classical music, he also invited Kenny Wong and Moses Chan as guests. Paul said, "Because of you guys, many more housewives have come". After hearing this, Kenny laughingly said, "It is because of these 'band buddy' housewives that I am able to sing with you at the HK Coliseum". Soon after, the three of them sang "Young Ignorance" together.

Personal Note: Nice to see that Paul invited Sober Band as guests! Glad that Bowie was able to make the second night! :D Ha ha.... Moses and Kenny were surprised to see Bowie, as Bowie was not scheduled to appear due to filming in Mainland.
Moses and Kenny were not as nervous on the second night. :)
Bowie said that he has Paul's solo version (most likely the demo) of "Young Ignorance"...funny how Paul told him not to upload it! :P
Moses is chubbier now! :P It's weird seeing Bowie have more hair than Moses and Kenny! :P

Paul Wong Did Not Expect Kenny Wong to Be So Courageous

Earlier, Paul Wong was publicly recruiting Hong Kong Coliseum concert guests, arrogantly saying, "Whoever has the guts should call me". Ten days before the show, Kenny Wong, as a member of Sober Band, called and recommended himself. Paul laughingly said, "Now, it's time for me to be afraid...afraid that they will treat me like Ka Ming and eat me".
Paul will be holding a concert at Hong Kong Coliseum on July 13th and 14th. He has been busy rehearsing with over 30 orchestra members. When asked whether the concert's guests have been confirmed, he said, "Yes, it's Sober Band. (Which Sober Band?) The band that sings 'Young Ignorance', but Bowie Lam is in Mainland filming series, so cannot make it back in time, so it'll only be Moses Chan and Kenny appearing. I will be the revived Ka Ming (a character in the series)".

Paul highly praised Kenny's self-recommendation idea as being creative and surprising because, on that day, when he was doing a live radio interview, requesting for guests over the airwaves again, [he] then received Kenny's phone call: "He said that he was at a very far place, but still heard me doing a programme...knew that I was looking for guests, so directly called the radio station to publicly apply. I really didn't think that he would be so courageous. Now, I am most afraid that they will treat me like Ka Ming and eat me". Paul also said that a commemorative version box set will also be released on the concert date, which will come with a 'Monster BB' picture guitar pick designed by him.
Personal Note: He he.... Kenny got Sober Band a gig at Paul's concert! :D Too bad Bowie will not be able to make it!
