Raymond Lam Shoots MTR Commercial with Linda Chung

Raymond Lam shot MTR's new set of new railway commercials, 《尋．未來記》, as 「寡人」. This time, for the first time in 24 years, Raymond is appearing on screen as the domineering 「寡人」, travelling alongside major MTR projects through the present and future.
Apart from "A Step into the Past"'s 「寡人」, his classic "Heart of Greed" CP partner, Linda Chung, [also] appeared as the classic character 「常在心」, pushing a stroller and calling for 「管家佬」, and continued the legendary counting-the-days plotline, "300 Days Since Having My Son, Sunny" as its opening line, creating a crossover between the classic characters from the two installments of "Heart", giving series fans the ultimate finale for this classic couple in a parallel universe, rekindling everyone's love for this CP.
Raymond expressed that, playing 「寡人」 travelling through time, he relived old memories of riding the MTR to go to school. He laughingly said that he is no stranger to Kwu Tung because this place is a famous spot for ancient filming...never imagined that a Kwu Tung Station would appear in the future. Raymond laughingly said, "Okay if filming modern, but [if] filming ancient, it doesn't make sense to wear a headpiece to ride the transit. It's also not impossible, but it would be a little strange!"
Raymond also said, "When I was filming 'Heart' back then, originally thought that it would just be a cameo, and [I] had never played a role where I was just responsible for dating. Back then, was working with Linda every day. Little did [I] know, as filming progressed, the scenes kept piling up, but was also very happy to be able to create a character that viewers would remember!"
Linda has not filmed a series with Raymond in a while; old memories flooded back after seeing 「管家佬」's classic plaid shirt: "At that time, for us, the 'Heart' installments really helped us a lot in our careers. Now, 20 years later, also still able to come back together to shoot a commercial that seems like a sequel. Also feels very wonderful!"
Linda expressed that she usually rides the MTR. If [she] is wearing makeup, [she] would show herself graciously, but would have [her] head down if [she] is bare-faced: "I also usually take my kids on the MTR; this a distinguishing feature of Hong Kong! Plus, I would also let them know that their mom learned how to speak Cantonese by riding the transit, like 「將軍澳, 旺角」...can see a lot of Chinese characters".

Raymond Lam Shoots Commercial with Linda Chung, The Phrase 'Lawyer Seung' Sparks Nostalgia for Series from 19 Years Ago

Forty-one-year-old Linda Chung has already been popular with viewers since she entered the industry. Her 2006 starring series, "Heart of Greed", even become one of her representative works. Earlier, at 'boyfriend' Raymond Lam's concert, he even invited 'girlfriend' Linda to be a guest, holding hands and singing 《心領》 together on stage, much to the delight of the audience.
Apart from collaborating at the concert, they also recently collaborated on a mobile phone brand commercial shoot. In the commercial, the two were dressed as barristers, engaging in a heated debate in court. Raymond even humourously teased 「常律師」 about her outdated phone, which was extremely amusing! 「程亮」 and 「常在心」 reunited after 19 years, sparking a burst of nostalgia online.

Linda Chung Wants to Film a Movie Version of "Heart of Greed"

Artiste Linda Chung attended an 'OCBC' event at Admiralty. As the brand ambassador, this was Linda's first time shooting a bank advertisement. She laughingly said that, seeing bank commercials on TV in the past, thought that they were very pretty. Finally had the chance to realize [her] dream. This time, Linda and her daughter, Kelly, shot the ad as a mother and daughter team, and was able to take this opportunity to record her daughter's condition at this age, which really has commemorative value. She said, "I asked my eldest daughter if she would like to shoot the commercial together. She replied, 'Why not?' However, she has a bit of a foreigner's accent when she speaks Cantonese. I was responsible for guiding her. My daughter wrote down the pinyin and then hid in her room to memorize the script. Although the commercial used a dubbing in the end, I felt extremely pleased. She is so young, but she is more clever than I was when I first entered the industry. As a result, she was pleased with herself when she saw the commercial. My husband also said that he was proud of her".
Linda expressed that, if there is a chance to work with her daughter again, she would like to try dubbing for animations together. She also laughingly said that her daughter smiled too long during the commercial shoot and told her that both sides of her face were stiff from smiling. Linda said, "My daughter finally knows how hard her mother works. She also knows that, in the future, she needs to work hard in order to achieve success, and would even cherish the time with her mother because she knows that her mother works hard for the family".
Linda was a guest at Raymond Lam's concert, which brought back memories of 「程亮」 and 「常在心」 from "Heart of Greed". She felt very happy to reunite with Raymmond after more than ten years, but he has been busy with his concert, and she also has to rush back to Canada to take care of her children, so they have not had a chance to have dinner together. Linda Chung Makes an Appearance at Raymond Lam's Concert

Raymond Lam's seven consecutive concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum came to the fifth night tonight.
When it came to the concert guest segment, the much-anticipated Linda Chung finally appeared. When Linda, who was wearing a deep V evening gown, was still coming up, the screams on site were already deafening, and the entire atmosphere was instantly ebullient. The two first sang 《馴獸師之王》 together, but when Linda saw Raymond, she was already moved to tears; Raymond immediately stepped forward to hug [her].
After singing, Raymond put himself in 「程亮」's shoes and said, "The 7900th day without 「常在心」". Linda could not help but cry again when hearing it. "Oh no. It's like a dream". Raymond immediately ran to the side of the stage to get Linda a tissue and personally wiped her tears...extremely sweet. Linda continued, "Really very happy! We haven't seen each other for over ten years. [Really] proud of you! I'm really very happy to see your achievements! Also made me think of many things in the past...「管家仔」 and 'Alfred'".
Raymond also expressed that he really had not seen Linda in a long time. Linda laughingly said that they are already parents now: "You squeezed out one. I also squeezed out three". Raymond highly praised her for still being so fit and pretty. Linda frankly said that, when she first met Raymond, she was 22 years old, while Raymond was 27. Tonight brought back many memories for her: "At that time, I already felt that you would shine. It was just a matter of time to see when you would explode. Believe that you will continue to explode. "Kids' Lives Matter II" Filming with a New Cast?

In FILMART 2022, TVB featured "Kids' Lives Matter II". Although it was rumoured that, apart from Linda [Chung], other actors, such as the original cast of Kevin Cheng, Kenneth Ma, Him Law, Bowie Cheung, Catherine Chau, et al. would be filming it; however, [on.cc] has received news that it will be a brand-new cast and story this time, and it is tentatively scheduled to start shooting in July. TVB persuaded Linda to film many times, but she declined in the end. Him, Kevin, Kenneth, et al. will also not be staying on. This series' producer, Fong Wang Cheuk, frankly said in an interview, "The company does have such an idea. Also in the process of arranging it now. Getting the story done first...also revolving around a children's hospital". Talking about the matter of Linda losing out on the award making many people dissatisfied and unhappy, would it cause her to no longer consider it? The producer said, "She did not say that she was declining. Has to think about it first: first, the pandemic situation, and secondly, also has to take care of [her] children". As for Kevin, the producer said that he has several jobs on hand...also must look at the situation.
Linda also accepted an interview with on.cc the other day. Regarding the previous matter of [Wong] Cho Lam falling out with upper management for her sake, she only said, "I have been a free agent for almost four years. I really don't know what happens within TVB, so it is not convenient to respond". Asked if she would film "Kids' II" and what factors need to be considered, she said, "Very happy to know that the series will be having a sequel because we really need series with encouraging and positive themes, and also very grateful that some projects have also contacted me about collaborating, but after discussing it with my husband, we also have a consensus. Have decided that [I] would be taking a break this year...focusing on taking care of [my] family first. Hope that the series crew films smoothly and everyone is healthy".
Linda has decided not to film; her partner in the series, Kevin, also said in an interview, "The producer has contacted me, but because [I] have some jobs on hand being discussed, have to check the schedule first. The producer also mentioned that it would be a brand-new story, so have to see if the role is suitable or not first". Kenneth, whose work has currently been suspended and is waiting for the company's notice to film "Legal Spokespeople" again, said in an interview, "I haven't received the notice yet, but I may also not necessarily be able to film it. I also think that it doesn't necessarily need the original lineup. They want to film a new story. Merely need the original lineup for those behind the scenes! Would not necessarily be so for those before the screen!"

Difficult to Pull Away as a Mom! Linda Chung's "Paediatricians" Is Her Last Series?

Artiste Linda Chung shot the MV for 《好好珍惜自己》, the theme song of the series "Paediatricians" today. The boss of Voice Entertainment, Herman Ho, also visited the set. Linda revealed that the last time she sang the theme song of a series was already six or seven years ago. This time, she is very happy to take part in filming a series and singing a theme song: "I wrote the song in Vancouver half a year ago. Did not think of it becoming a theme song. I am taking part in filming this series...know the ins and outs. Think that the song is very suitable; it is a perfect match. The song was composed by me. I only wrote two phrases. Later gave it to a lyricist to write it. I spent two hours talking to him or her about what I wanted to express. He or she beautifed and elevated the words. I also cried after listening to it. I let my friends listen to it; they also cried and got goosebumps while listening to it. My husband and children also listened to it; they said that they are proud of me. (Did you cry during the recording?) No, because I already listened to it many times, but I would listen to this song before shooting certain scenes...would make me more immersed in the shoot".
In addition, Linda, who specially returned to Hong Kong from Vancouver to film the series, revealed that she has already stayed in Hong Kong for three months, and there are still 36 days of scenes. She frankly said, "Really miss my kids. It's more difficult than I had imagined. Considered the longest time I have been away from the kids. Previously thought that, two months after coming to Hong Kong and settling down, the kids would fly over; however, not long after I finished my quarantine, there was another outbreak in Hong Kong, so it disrupted my plans. Don't know what to do now. If the kids were to come, I would be staying longer; otherwise, I will fly back to Vancouver immediately after completing the filming of the series. I have already packed all of my luggage. (Do your kids miss you a lot?) I am worried about my daughter the most. My son is still young; he is not as reluctant to part with me. My daughter would say that she misses me and tells me come home quickly, but they have a lot of people who adore them in Vancouver; it is not too tough when missing me. Instead, I am alone in Hong Kong, so I miss them even more. It is also very hard on my husband...has to play two roles". After having this experience, would she still be willing to return to Hong Kong to film a series next time? Linda frankly said that she does not really dare to do so: "Thus, don't know, but this may be my last series. May film again in ten years. Because, when [I] go to film a series, [I] am gone for such a long time; my heart doesn't know what to do. As a mom, it is very difficult to pull away. If I were to film again, have to consider it carefully. In short, treating it as the last series...doing my best. My family greatly supports me working...don't want to disappoint them".

Linda Chung Suddenly Cries Due to Missing Her Children; Experienced Person Kevin Cheng Persuades Kenneth Ma to Have Children While Young

After getting married, Linda Chung has been supporting her husband and raising her children in Canada. Recently, she cast her husband and childen aside for two men to return to Hong Kong to film TVB's new series, "Paediatricians". She said, "Have not starred in a series for six years. The last time was 'Another Era'...only filmed for ten days". When asked the reason for returning to film a series, she expressed that she has always wanted to collaborate with Kevin Cheng and Kenneth Ma, and the series has a mission, hoping to bring out positive energy.
Linda originally arranged for her children to come to Hong Kong to reunite this month but gave up on the idea due to the rebound of the pandemic. Linda revealed that, one day, there was a sudden script reading, so she could not see her children via FaceTime. Felt slightly down...could only take out her children's pictures and think about them. When Linda shared her family pictures with her partners in the series, Catherine Chau, et al., she could not help but cry. She frankly said that she occasionally felt this sense of loss. Being separated for four months, it is only hard work for her husband.
Kevin, who is also a parent, expressed that his second son was just born. There is nothing he can do, as he has to work during the most difficult moment. He also helped in rushing Kenneth, who is currently dating Roxanne Tong, to build a family as soon as possible. Kenneth decliningly said, "Leave it to fate!" As someone with experience, Kevin immediately said, "You are wrong. Really have to have children while young. You will understand it then". The two brothers expressed that they are only collaborating again after "A Fistful Stances", which was over ten years ago.
Bowie Cheung said that the child actors are very obedient. Him Law admitted that he is more patient with children after the birth of his baby. He revealed that, because he is in contact with a lot of people while working, he and his wife, Tavia Yeung, are now sleeping in separate rooms...also wearing a face mask at home.

Filming of TVB Grand Productions Delayed Due to the Pandemic

TVB currently has many grand productions that are waiting to start filming, including "Paediatricians" (starring Kenneth Ma, Kevin Cheng, and Linda Chung), "Big White Duel II" (starring Kenneth, Natalie Tong, Nancy Wu, Kelly Cheung et al.), and "Barrack O'Karma II" (starring Selena Lee and Joel Chan). Although all the actors have been waiting for a long time, due to the pandemic and the ban on gatherings, the filming of many series has been affected. In addition to changing to full indoor shooting and shooting within TVB City, many series have been delayed due to shooting location problems, and filming has failed to start as scheduled. The filming of "Paediatricians" was originally scheduled to start in July, but it has been delayed until August due to the pandemic; however, it has not fully started shooting yet. Family Is Ranked First, Linda Chung Has No Fixed Time for Return to Filming Series

Female star Linda Chung has been focusing on taking care of her family in Vancouver in recent years. Recently, she specially took the time to return to Hong Kong to shoot a powdered milk commercial. The commercial was inspired by Linda's love for her children. The commercial uses Linda's real personal experience as its theme, talking about the various experiences and realizations that she faced on the road to growth over the years. She hopes that her daughter is able to make more different attempts in the process of growing up, and that she would become her children's strongest supporter, letting [her] children be able to fully unleash their innate talents so that [they] can also have a fulfilling and happy childhood.
Regarding her future plans, Linda expressed that she is currently putting her family first. She revealed, "Made a composition for the commercial this time...it is something that I have always wanted to do. The melody and the lyrics are also inspired by my daughter. At the moment, still have no plans to arrange other work because it is not easy to take care of two children, so [I] will be focusing on family for the time being".

Linda Chung Gives Birth to Son

Today, 34-year-old Linda Chung announced that she has given birth to her adorable son, Jared. Her friends immediately sent their blessings. Although Linda is recuperating in Canada, she specially shared her joy with the media through a recording. From her voice, it could be heard that she was in good spirits.
Linda said, "I am very happy to announce to everyone today that I just gave birth to my son. He is very healthy. His name is Jared Anthony Leung. He is considered a big baby, weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces at birth. He has a lot of hair and really resembles Kelly. Our whole family also jokingly said that it was as though I had given birth to fraternal twins because Jared and Kelly really look like each other. This time, the birth process was very smooth; it was also a natural birth. Although it hurt so, so, so much, the most special was choosing a home birth this time because Canada is very supportive of a natural delivery. I am very grateful and lucky to have found a group of good midwives; they are very professional, giving me good emotional support, and they gave me a lot of personal and compassionate care to guide me about some techniques to make the birth process even more smooth and safe, and to believe in and to listen to my own body when giving birth even more. I think this feeling is very empowering. Chose this method to give birth after discussing with my husband. I feel that it is absolutely an unforgettable experience. Together with my son and my family, I am now recuperating and have to take special care during the first month after childbirth. Have to take good care of my son, and it is also very important to take good care of big sister Kelly because there is suddenly another baby during this time. I definitely need to put more time in for Kelly and make sure she's okay".
Lastly, Linda expressed that she hopes to introduce her son to everyone soon, and she also hopes to see everyone soon, hoping that everyone takes care and thanking all of her friends, the viewers, and the media for their support and blessings.
