- 25 episodes long.
- There are six cases. Each case is an independent story. Each story in the series is based on a real case, and some are even bizarre foreign cases.
- If people have improper thoughts and greed, sins will also follow suit; this is the theme of the series. The six cases also have suspenseful murder investigations, but the six stories are using the murder cases to show the ugly and greedy side of human nature, and will also describe the relationships between people, containing many touching stories within.
- 'Dirty Bullet' (骯髒的子彈) is a newly added case, which is two episodes. This story is different from the other cases, and is being expressed with black humour. It uses a boutique hotel as the background, talking about the bizarre things that happen to the people in the hotel in one day.
- Lawrence Ng will play a professional and competent gynecologist in the case 'The Faceless Female Corpse' (無臉女屍), which has a total of five episodes. This case is about the family relationship. He originally had a great family, deeply loving his wife and two daughters; however, an unfortunate incident causes the entire family to undergo a serious transformation, which, in turn, gives rise to many suspenseful questions. He has many scenes where he argues and loses his temper. He is a strict father and is quite mean. He is the father of a blissful family, but a tragic thing happens to this family such that one of the members unfortunately passes away. He is slightly evil and may be a bit abnormal. Ankie Beilke plays his wife, while his two daughters are played by Joey Thye and Kayan Yau.
- Alice Chan is in the case 'A Hundred Million Intent to Kill' (一億殺機), which is five episodes. In this case, a family falls out over money. The case is about killing someone over money. Twenty years ago, she was a caregiver of those with intellectual disabilities. She is preoccupied with money, and because she is lacking in money, she is later enticed by Angelina Lo and unwillingly marries her intellectually disabled son, Tsui Wing, and they give birth to an intellectually disabled son. Apart from having to take care of Tsui Wing, who only has the IQ of an eight-year-old, there are also a lot of disputes with her father-in-law, Lee Ka Ting, and mother-in-law, Angelina. Angelina is dissatisfied with her; they have quarrelling fight scenes. For a hundred million dollars, it gets to the point of every man for himself; she does not kill her husband, but someone will die. She has a bed scene with Lee Ka Ting that is a bit violent and unwilling. She may not necessarily be a villain, as her stubbornness toward money may be natural.
- Moon Lau and her ex-husband experience many twists and turns, even meeting terrifying lovers. After she and Nicholas Yuen break up, many woman appear, and they are quite terrifying. The story is about the past and present lives.
- Nicholas will play Davis Yau Yau Fong (遊有方), an interior designer in the case 'Terrible Lover' (恐怖情人), which is five episodes. There are only a few actors in this case. He has romantic scenes with a majority of the actresses, even having a mother-and-son relationship that is not simply ordinary. He dates a lot of people, including Moon and Stitch Yu. He will have intense scenes with Moon. He and Moon are a formerly married couple. He gets into trouble when getting entangled among many girls, encountering terrifying lovers. This case involves supernatural elements and will have plotlines about the past and present lives.
- Joey Thye will play Hong Ka Nam (康嘉嵐), a wild big sister with a personality.
- Kayan Yau will play Elsa Hong Ka Yi (康嘉儀), Lawrence's daughter. Ankie is her mother, while Joey is her elder sister. She and Brian Chu have a romantic storyline in 'The Faceless Female Corpse'; they have a profound relationship, but it is only a pure love. There is a scene where they get beaten up badly.
- Kaman Kong will play Lok Hiu Sin (駱曉善)」. She is in the case 'Dangerous Game' (危險遊戲), which tells the story of how a group of Internet celebrities pranks people on the Internet and gets into trouble. She is a physically disabled person; she has to sit in a wheelchair for five episodes. She used to play soccer; because of some accidents, she has to sit in a wheelchair. She is Law Koon Lan's daughter.
- Stitch will play Sylvia, a fairy who communicates with the spirits.
- Wai Ka Hung leads the police team, which is responsible for investigating many strange cases.
- Law Koon Lan is in the case 'Dangerous Game'.
- Lee Ka Ting will play the head of the family. He can be said to be a rich fellow in the village. Angelina is his wife; they quarrel a lot. His son, Tsui Wong, makes him agitated.
- Eva Lai will play Nicholas' mother. Moon is her daughter-in-law.
- Tsui Wing will play an intellectually disabled person. Although he only has the IQ of an eight-year-old, he has a family and children. He originally has another daughter, Kirby Lam. Later, he and Alice get married, giving birth to Arthur Sy, who has a mild intellectual disability.
- Kirby will play a lawyer. She mainly takes care of her younger brother, Arthur. Alice is not her biological mother.
- Arthur will play the son of Alice and Tsui Wing. He has a mild intellectual disability, which is the IQ of an 18-year-old. His emotions fluctuate greatly. He would run away when he is unhappy.
- Natalie Cho is in the case 'Stone Coffin Forbidden Love' (石棺禁戀), which tells of a murder caused by a forbidden love.
- Momo Wu is in the case 'Stone Coffin Forbidden Love'.
- Ricco Ng will play Ngai Ka Yan (危家仁), who is in the case 'Dangerous Game'. He hates Kaman.
- Andrea So will play Daisy Tai Yat Si (戴逸思), a 24-year-old Internet celebrity in the case 'Dangerous Game'. She is a witness in a case. She is rather serious. She has many scenes with Ricco.
- Peter Chan is in the case 'Dangerous Game'.
- Roxanne Ho will play Yan Yan (恩恩), Moon's bestie who really loves her and is very protective of her. She hates Nicholas and does not like them dating.
- Pal Sinn is in the case 'Dirty Bullet'. He is a gang leader who is being chased by a killer and needs to hide in a hotel, but unexpectedly leads to the death of someone else.
- Timothy Cheng follows Pal to make a living.
- Elvina Kong will play a hotel housekeeper who accidentally picks up a pistol; afraid of inviting trouble, she pretends to not see it, leaving the pistol behind. However, the pistol falls into her hands again and again; the process is crazy and funny.
- Zoie Tam will play a wealthy, money-worshipping married woman who enjoys glory and wealth and squanders her husband William Chak's money. However, an accident happens during a staycation with her husband in the presidential suite of the hotel, which changes her life.
- William will play a rich person whose family fortunes have declined. He has a pretty wife, but she is such a big spender that he cannot make ends meet. Luckily, he is crafty and clever, but his cleverness gets him in trouble. In the end, he gets the help of a benefactor, who is the ultimate boss.
- Michelle Ip is in a case as a young woman who investigates cases with Winki Lai and Eric Tang.
