Lawrence [Ng] will return to TVB at the beginning of next month to film Producer Amy Wong's new series, "Improper Sins". In the series, he will put on a doctor's robe again and play a gynecologist.

"Improper" has six cases, with a total of 25 episodes. Each story in the series is based on a real case, and some are even bizarre foreign cases. The cases, including 'A Hundred Million Intent to Kill' (一億殺機), 'Dangerous Game' (危險遊戲), 'Terrifying Lover' (恐怖情人), etc., all contain emotional stories and are highly watchable. This time, Lawrence will star in one of the cases, 'The Faceless Female Corpse' (無面女屍), which has a total of five episodes. The two daughters in the series are played by the TVB darlings Joey Thye and Kayan Yau, while Ankie Beilke plays his wife. In an interview with on.cc [today], Lawrence said, "I will be staying in Hong Kong for a month to film. Have not returned to TVB to film a series for many years. It is not a doctor series this time; it's just that the character is a doctor, so [I] will be wearing a doctor's robe again. Speaking of him keeping himself well, would he mind having two daughters in their 20s in the series? He laughingly said, "I am also entering my 60s next year! Having a daughter in her 20s is not a problem. There are a lot of dads who also look young now".

Being 'Sisters' from Looking at the Faces

Joey and Kayan, who will be playing sisters, unanimously expressed when interviewed that they grew up watching Lawrence's works and are greatly looking forward to the collaboration this time. Joey said, "Certainly happy! Grew up watching his series. He is being my dad as soon as he has come back to the company, and is even using the image of a doctor. I am greatly looking forward to learning from him! Plus, Kayan is being my little sister this time. We debuted around the same time. When we collaborated on 'eSports Central' in 2018, many people said that we looked alike, and that sooner or later, we would play sisters. Really have the chance to this time. Plus, the story is very interesting and is adapted from true stories, so also greatly looking forward to it, from the script to the team". As for Kayan, she also expressed that she has watched many of Lawrence's works, including the movie "Hail the Judge" and the TV series "Healing Hands", "The File of Justice", etc. She said, "Really very nervous and excited to have the opportunity to be able to work with him. This time, the character already has a complete mental growth and change in just five episodes, so it's quite challenging. After looking at the script, I also think that the development of the plot is very attractive. The character goes through quite a lot, breaking through a lot of original perceptions".

A Strange Case in Taiwan Being Brought to the Screen, Tsui Wing Playing an Intellectually Disabled Person Who Marries Alice Chan

In the new TVB series "Improper", artistes Alice Chan and Tsui Wing are co-starring in the case 'A Hundred Million Intent to Kill'. The story is adapted from a real case in Taiwan. In the series, Alice is playing a loving caregiver of those with intellectual disabilities. Her family situation is not very good. Later, she marries Tsui Wing, the intellectually disabled son of a wealthy village chief. Tsui Wing originally has another daughter, Kirby Lam. Later, he and Alice get married, giving birth to Arthur Sy, who has a mild intellectual disability. A series of incidents follows.
