When artiste Tavia Yeung attended a promotional event for the series "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles", her forehead and face were discovered to be full of pimples. She denied having pressure due to competing for TV queen...only caused from an endocrine imbalance. As for it being said that she accepted half of Kate Tsui's fee to perform on the same stage, she said that she did not know the other party's fee, but admitted to having made quite a bit of money from the two working together recently.

Kenneth Ma Reveals Having Rumours with JJ Jia

Artistes Kenneth Ma and JJ Jia did a recording for a special program for "Tiger Cubs". Kenneth revealed having had rumours with JJ Jia before; however, no one reported on it. After hearing this, JJ laughingly said that [the rumours] could now be spread anew...treat it as promotion for the series; however, after the series is finished airing, request for everyone to not mention it again. Asked whether [she] disliked Kenneth, JJ immediately denied and highly praised him as being the city's biggest hot property.

Jessica Hsuan Using Friendship Cards to Look for Guest Stars for Sequel

Artistes Joe Ma and Jessica Hsuan did a recording for a special program for "Tiger Cubs". Because of the series' good ratings, was there a feeling of clearing polluted air? Jessica expressed that it was already known early on that this series would not be warehoused. During filming, already notified of the arrangement of broadcasting on Saturdays and Sundays, but did not expect the current ratings. Hope that a sequel would be filmed...then, can use all friendship cards and look for guest stars on [my] own. As for the series' good ratings causing ATV's ratings to drop to nearly zero, Jessica expressed that it may be related to the London Olympics.

"Tiger Cubs" Celebrates Victory, Joe Ma Feels Proud and Elated

TVB's new series "Tiger Cubs" premiered on Sunday, peaking at 30 points and averaging 29 points, becoming the entire week's highest-rated series. Yesterday, the cast held a celebration event and also celebrated Joe's 44th birthday in advance. Mandy Wong, JJ Jia, and Kayi Cheung pretended to give a kiss. Afterward, Joe excitedly hugged Kenneth Ma, while Him Law was told by the producer to hug Vincent Wong...a funny scene.

Joe is very satisfied with these results. When asked whether [he] felt happy and elated, he laughingly said, "Yes. Yes". He thinks that the arrangement of the release of the series at a new time slot needs some figuring out. Initially guessed the ratings to be 23 to 25 points. Now that there are good results, the series crew is also very excited...also hope that the ratings go even higher. As for viewers complaining about violent scenes, Joe explained, "Usually, major cases would call for the Special Duties Unit. Later, it will continue to have bloody and violent scenes, thereby placing it at a rather late time slot to air". As for accusations of plagiarizing the film "Breaking News", he said, "Cop shows cannot escape robbery. Most importantly, the performances from different actors have different refreshing feelings. Everyone also enjoys watching it". Joe revealed that [he] will be inviting the actors to a celebration...also bringing his wife and son along".

Kenneth was revealed by the producer to have frequently NG-ed when filming kiss scenes with JJ. After hearing this, Kenneth laughingly said, "Much thanks to the help of the behind-the-scenes [crew]...if it was not the sound, it was the lighting that had problems. However, the other day, after JJ and Oscar Leung filmed a kiss scene, didn't want to kiss another person anymore...thinks that the other party is the most kissable". JJ promptly denied, saying that Oscar was talking nonsense.

What's with TVB filming kiss scenes on the initial days of filming? o_O

Ha ha.... In the Wenweipo article, JJ said that she was upset that her other kiss scene with Ma Ming was edited out, so she can only get the clip back and re-watch it at home as a commemoration. :P

When Ma Ming and JJ said that their appearance in the series was too short, it must have been the producer who said, "Let's film a spin-off, okay?" Would definitely want to see the background to their story! ;)

Joe Ma Works Hard to Promote, Possessed by Ng Kong

Jessica Hsuan, Joe Ma, Oscar Leung, Vincent Wong, Him Law, Mandy Wong, etc. attended a promotional event for the series "Tiger Cubs" in their SDU uniforms under the hot weather. Ten-plus artistes were arranged to sit on the armoured car. Originally, the SDU group was pulling the car, but in the end, only Joe was pulling the car.

Although Joe already left the company earlier, he was still wearing ten-plus pounds clothing with equipment, solely pulling the armoured car with ten-plus people sitting on it, working extremely hard to promote. He, who was full of strength, was teased as being the 'new Ng Kong'.

As for Jessica, who is returning to TVB again, frankly said that she was happy to see many old colleagues, even laughingly saying, "The feeling of holding a gun for the first time is very cool. Hope to create a new path". When talking about her not filming series in TVB, thus having even more time to date, she expressed, "I don't have a partner, and would also not intentionally meet a Chinese second generation. In addition, I never thought about having a baby. Leaving everything to fate".

Some would like to try to film movies. I like to film series. A group of people getting along for a few months gives a stable feeling". When talking about Valentine's Day, she complained that her boyfriend is not romantic enough. She said, "I have mentioned to him that Valentine's Day is coming up, but he would ask me a rhetorical question, asking if Valentine's Day falls on the same day every year. Perhaps, they don't celebrate Valentine's Day in his home country of South Africa!"

In "Special Duties Unit", Kenneth Ma and JJ Jia are guest-starring in one of the cases as a pair of thieves who are abnormal killers. They receive gratification from killing people.

A tattoo artist shared pictures of their tattoos on her blog. The tattoo artist also revealed that Kenneth gave her a lucky pocket for the new year.

JJ was at a wedding dress event yesterday, and you can see that she still has her tattoo from the series.
