Eliza Sam Gets Married

In the morning of the 17th (Vancouver time), Eliza Sam and Joshua walked down the aisle at Ebenezer Baptist Church. There were 200 family and friends in attendance. Eliza wore a low-cut embroidered wedding dress with long sleeves. When marching in with her father, Eliza was already teary-eyed. When her father handed her over to Joshua, she already could not help but shed tears. Joshua attentively prepared a tissue for her. When the newlyweds read their vows and exchanged rings, Eliza was moved to blissful tears.
Walks Down the Aisle in Church, Sheds Blissful Tears
The wedding banquet was held at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, with 30 tables. The venue was decorated in white, gold, and silver tones. All around, there was the two's wedding mascot, the design of bears holding hands. When Eliza and Joshua arrived at the hotel, they first let the media take pictures. Eliza wore a fur cape. Joshua, who was officially facing the media for the first time, appeared nervous. The media requested that the two kiss; Eliza said that Joshua was shy, so they took nose-to-nose pictures.
Shy Joshua Consecutively Kisses Bride
Eliza and Joshua changed into Chinese wedding costumes, following tradition by giving tea to the elders. Eliza was wearing a golden pig plate necklace and a dragon and phoenix bracelet, accepting the reporters' interview with her husband. When taking pictures, the two were requested to kiss again. Joshua was so embarrassed that his face turned red, laughing foolishly while standing beside his wife. Eliza took the initiative, as she laughingly said, "Since it is like this, then we will...." She raised her chin, and Joshua immediately accommodated with a kiss, becoming kissing fish and kissing two consecutive times. Joshua even humourously said in Cantonese: "I don't understand!"
Calls Eliza Sam 「蕉蕉」 in Private
During the interview, Eliza mainly answered the questions. Eliza was happy to become 「強嫂」, but everyone can still call her 'Heung Heung'. The reporters asked Joshua what he typically called Eliza. He humourously revealed that, in private, he would call his wife 「蕉蕉」! Eliza praised Joshua as a hundred points husband. When Joshua was asked what he felt were Eliza's good points, he repeated, "Good! Good!" Joshua can only understand and speak a little Cantonese.
Fetching the Bride: Using Toes to Eat Grapes
Eliza revealed that, during the fetching of the bride, the bridesmaids arranged a challenge with great difficulty. Her husband and the groomsmen had to use their toes to eat grapes, and almost accidentally had a mouth-to-mouth when eating the seaweed. Eliza thanked her group of sisters for specially going to Vancouver to take part in her wedding. The two have not decided on the destination of their honeymoon yet. Because the wedding preparations took a lot of time, they may go on a short trip.
Residing in Hong Kong After Marriage, Not in a Rush to Have a Baby
Before marriage, Eliza and Joshua had a long-distance relationship. Eliza said, "We no longer want a long distance. Very strenuous. Now arranging to live together in Hong Kong". Regarding baby plans, she and Joshua have reached a consensus, as they will work hard in their careers first before planning to have a baby. She said, "We both want to have children, but should not be that fast. The elders also want us to have a few. Already received two golden pigs today! May have one first. See how the feeling is before deciding!"

Her good sisters, including Linda Chung, Christine Kuo, and Leanne Li, as well as good friend Joyce Cheng specially went to Vancouver to see Eliza get married.

TVB anniversary series "Come On, Cousin" aired its two-episode finale. The cast members, including Roger Kwok, Joey Meng, Wong Cho Lam, Leanne Li, etc., went to a mall to watch it live. An awards presentation format was also used to present awards to the actors, attracting the support of many viewers.
FYI: The final two episodes of "Come On, Cousin" averaged 26 points, and peaked at 28 points. The first part of the special averaged 25 points; the second part averaged 19 points.

"Inbound Troubles II" Completion Banquet

The final scene of "Inbound Troubles II" was filmed at a theme park, and a completion banquet was held afterward.
Wong Cho Lam expressed that Roger Kwok has gone to the location he got married at back then to perform another wedding, while he himself is only a relative in the series. Cho Lam revealed that he will film an imitation programme after completing this series: "Would also fight for this series to release during the anniversary. There are many competitors! (Which one?) Many. Everyone wants to be the anniversary series, but temporarily looking at various promotional things, and whether public opinion can be handled".
Regarding Cho Lam wanting to fight for this series to be an anniversary series, Roger and Joey Meng expressed that they definitely support it. When asked what competitors they knew were fighting to be an anniversary series, although knowing that the schedule has already been set, Roger laughingly said that "Black Heart White Soul", which he has a part in, is a competitor, while Joey laughingly said that her "Officer Geomancer" is also a competitor.
Personal Note: Wow! Roger said that the people who were dressed up as Mickey and Minnie were the same from when he got married eight years ago!

"Brother's Keeper" Promotional Event 1

"Brother's Keeper" Not an Anniversary Series: Linda Chung Not Disappointed
Artiste Linda Chung attended a promotional event for the new series "Brother's Keeper" at an elementary school. She expressed having specially worn a rather '90s denim dress. Regarding grand production "Brother's" not being classified as an anniversary series, would she feel disappointed? She said, "Anniversary series are given by the media and the viewers. I believe that viewers would definitely like the series. (Closer to the anniversary is easier to fight for awards?) No. Do not weigh awards that heavily!" She also expressed that the scene of her being a SARS patient is her ugliest look since entering the industry...hope that viewers take note of it.

Artistes Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu returned to their old school to promote the new series "Brother's Keeper"; they both expressed being extremely happy. When asked about the series in the two time slots having mediocre ratings, would he feel pressure for his starring series? Ruco said, "No pressure. Have confidence in the series. Has a lot of flavour. Believe that it would resonate with viewers! (The cast is not enough?) About the overall. Now, some small budget films only explode!"
Edwin, who has not returned to his old school in a while, did not know the directions, thereby ended up being late. He laughingly said that he is vehicle blind: "Without a GPS, don't know how to go to many places. (Do you know Gigi Ho's house?) Where? She always moves!" He expressed hoping to fight for good ratings to the best of his ability.

Norman Leung Appreciation Dinner

Last night, TVB Chairman Norman Leung held a dinner consisting of 19 tables at TVB City, inviting the crew of "Friendly Fire", "Sergeant Tabloid", "A Great Way to Care II", "The Voice of the Stars", and "Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2013". Close to 200 performers and staff members were in attendance. Every table had some executives, producers, and artistes sitting together. Norman said that "Triumph in the Skies II" will be having a celebration dinner in October.

Kenneth Ma: Choosing a Flat Is Like Choosing a Wife

Last night, when Kenneth Ma attended an event, he expressed that he is currently saving up to change houses. When asked that it was rumoured that Tavia Yeung has bought a big house (one step faster than he is), Kenneth congratulated Tavia after hearing this, but feels that buying a flat has no relations with fast or slow. He said, "I even feel that it is similar to choosing a wife. May live in a house for ten or twenty years, or even until the day that I die. I feel that it must be very suitable and must like it before able to do so".

Dear friends,
I am very happy that you guys have been by my side for the past few years for my days in the entertainment business. Due to my father's health problem, I will be returning to Canada to spend time with him for the time being. At the same time, I will be able to complete my university degree. Please pray for my father and pray for the road ahead of me. I will really miss everyone and Hong Kong because everyone has been giving me support during my past years of loneliness and weakness. That is how I am able to be stronger and live happier. I love you guys! I hope to see you guys in the near future :)
