FYI: The Light Switching Ceremony averaged 15.6 points.
Personal Note: The show seemed more like a sales presentation, with variety programmes and big big channel offerings being greatly highlighted this year.
Of the anniversary series' performance segments, liked the musical for "The Exorcist's Meter" the most. Elena and Jacquelin's dance performance was so random, and the trailer and the interview portion of "My Ages Apart" were also lacking and not particularly informative.

- The series talks about the education system, and will be more realistic than the previous two installments.
- The series mainly talks about the department of education of a private university, in which every student is someone who wants to become a teacher in the future.
- Roger Kwok will play To Ming Chi (杜明治), a school principal. He is originally the principal of a boarding school, but there was a lack of students. Coincidentally, his parents, Bowie Wu and Helena Law, wanted to retire from their position as the principals of a private university, so they hand it over to him. He is a father. He and Ada Choi develop an underground romance.
- Ada will play Cheung Chun Keung (張進強), who works in public relations at the school. She originally works in public relations at Chun Wong's company, but because his son, BabyJohn Choi, is a second generation who has neither learning nor skills, he hopes for his son to study seriously but is also afraid of him causing trouble, so he sends her to look after his son. If BabyJohn graduates, then she receives a large sum of money. Since that school is funded by Chun Wong, she is arranged to be the principal's administrative assistant at the school. In the beginning, she does not like Roger, but later begins to admire his philosophy on education. In addition, Roger frequently helps her son, so she slowly likes Roger.
- Wong Cho Lam will appear for a scene or two in each episode.
- Bob Lam will play To Ming Hang (杜明亨), who opens a publishing house and a tutoring centre for money. He has a romantic storyline with Koni Lui. He is Roger's younger brother.
- Joyce Cheng will play Tak Tak (得得), who is very crude. She always yells at people and threatens people with red paint and knives. She grew up in Canada. Because she reveres the triads culture, she specially returns in hopes to create a triads mobile app. At the same time, because she has a letter in Chinese that was left to her by her late mother, she wants to personally read it, so she hopes to learn Chinese at school; because of this, she meets Mag Lam and BabyJohn. She is Roger's paternal cousin.
- Bowie Wu will play To Wong (杜琥).
- Helena Law will play Kong Bik (江碧).
- Koni will play Chan Mei Kuen (陳美娟), Bob Lam's secretary.
- BabyJohn will play Si Tak Wah (史德華), a wealthy high school student who has a luxurious lifestyle. He is from Singapore, so he is neither fluent in Chinese nor English. When he started school, his parents already gave him a million dollar cheque. He and Joyce are a bickering pair. He and Mag are a bickering pair. He gets caught between Eliza Sam and Mag.
- Mag will play Ching Shu (程舒), a tutor. She is a serious girl. She wants to become a good teacher, but she has a young face, so everyone is unable to tell that she is a tutor. She has a crush on BabyJohn.
- Eliza will play Lau Nau (柳妞), a school goddess who becomes a surrogate mother because she needs money. At one point, she wants to get an abortion, but Roger's advice makes her decide to give birth to the baby. She will appear for ten or eight episodes.
- Ram Chiang will play Ching Long (程郎), a student at the school. He is a high school teacher, but because he does not have his diploma in Education, he is unable to receive a promotion opportunity. Thus, he decides to further his studies, but is unexpectedly in the same class as his daughter, Mag; he does not dare to let others know, so others think that that the two have an ambiguous relationship.
- Momo Wu will play Chui Fung Kei (崔楓紀).
- Pinky Cheung will play a strict school directer who frequently bickers with Ada. She and Ada were classmates. She has a romantic storyline with Tyson Chak.
- Wingto Lam will play Bob Lam's subordinate who helps him get people on the street to enroll.
- Andrea So will play a pretty model. She is Bob Lam's subordinate who helps him get people on the street to enroll.
- Cherry Cheung will play Bob Lam's subordinate who helps him get people on the street to enroll.
- Bobo Yeung will play Bob Lam's subordinate who helps him get people on the street to enroll.
- Kiko Leung will play Bob Lam's subordinate who helps him get people on the street to enroll.

Ada Choi Returning to TVB to Film "Inbound Troubles III"

The third installment of "Inbound Troubles" is set to film in November. Because Joey Meng is doing a play, she is unable to take part. Ada Choi is set to play the female lead. Other actors include original cast members Roger Kwok, Wong Cho Lam, May Chan, etc. Louis Cheung will guest-star, while Ivana Wong, who is busy with concert matters, is also discussing whether she would guest-star.
Ada Choi Makes Much Less for Wong Cho Lam: Expected When Filming TVB Series
Ada was asked whether she is making much less by collaborating with good friend Cho Lam. Ada laughingly said, "Filming TVB series, expected to not make money there. I also want myself to be happy. Previously filming series in Mainland, it was always being dubbed over. As for TVB, all of it is live sound recording...more enjoyable! (The series attracts popularity and awards.) Actually, whatever I do, I would not think about getting popular before doing it, and would also not think about having awards before doing it. Would only think about doing a production that I like. Also, I got popular in TVB. Should really return to my mother company to film series".
Roger Kwok Worried About Wong Cho Lam's Health
When asked whether he would have pressure filming again, since the feedback and ratings for the previous two installments were not bad, Roger said, "Leaving the pressure to Cho Lam. His pressure is greater than mine. Hope that he takes care of his health. He is doing movies, scripts...really cannot spare time to attend to something else. Luckily, 'Inbound' has always had many people...would not be fully centralized. Actually, Cho Lam has also written it to accommodate us. I have confidence in his script. He has been working on it for a half year or so". Roger expressed that, this time, he is portraying a principal in the series. When asked whether he would be a mischievous principal, he said, "In Cho Lam's hands, how could there be nothing to do? However, this time, the looks would not be that exaggerated. Also, Ada can be serious and funny. When we filmed 'At the Threshold of an Era', we collaborated very happily. Believe that it would be the same this time".
Cho Lam feels happy to be able to get Ada to return to TVB to film a series: "She really has not returned (to TVB) for a long time! This time, apart from being friends, I previously told her about the role. After hearing it, she was also very interested. Now, she is already a wife and a mother. The role is mommy-related. Ada is very interested in the cast and crew. Everyone is very good. She also believes that everyone would collaborate very happily". Regarding Roger hoping that Cho Lam would be able to handle it, Cho Lam laughingly said, "Very thankful to Roger for caring so much about my health. Still working hard now. I have taken part in the scriptwriting work, but have also left it to scriptwriting team. Really have too many matters to handle...cannot spare time to attend to something else. Also, after the first and second installments, they are also very skilled...certainly not a problem".
Louis Cheung Has an Attachment Toward "Inbound Troubles", Must Film Even Without Sleeping!
Louis is confirmed to film TVB's new 50-episode series. Allegedly, because he has an attachment toward the "Inbound" series, he would rather sacrifice his resting time to insist on filming the third installment. Unfortunately, because of schedule problems, Louis can only guest-star, filming six or seven episodes.
Louis admitted over the phone: "Yes, I will be filming both series. Regarding 'Inbound', I really have an attachment. Because of this series, I had a chance to be recognized by everyone. Also, I really want to collaborate with Roger..these good actors. Also, I collaborated very happily with the entire cast and crew. (What is your role in 'Inbound III'?) Don't know yet. (Would not be able to sleep having to film both series together?) Would not be overlapping too much. Actually, in between the two series, I also have to film a movie. I also experienced this situation before. Encountering such a good series and actors, not a big deal to sleep less".
Personal Note: Did not think of Ada as a female lead candidate (as she has been away from the TVB scene for a number of years), although not unexpected given her friendship with Cho Lam.
Hope that this installment will be more like that first one!

TVB anniversary series "Come On, Cousin" aired its two-episode finale. The cast members, including Roger Kwok, Joey Meng, Wong Cho Lam, Leanne Li, etc., went to a mall to watch it live. An awards presentation format was also used to present awards to the actors, attracting the support of many viewers.
FYI: The final two episodes of "Come On, Cousin" averaged 26 points, and peaked at 28 points. The first part of the special averaged 25 points; the second part averaged 19 points.

Ram Chiang and Rita Carpio Partner Up to Make Money

Ram Chiang and Rita Carpio attended a Christmas event, which was a small concert, attracting over a hundred passersby. Ram and Rita sang 《相逢何必曾相識》 at a mall for the first time; the passersby there sang along.
Ram frankly said that, singing this song again, the feeling is very profound, and it also made Rita recall many things in the past. When asked whether they would hold a concert, they both said that they were slightly afraid to. Rita laughingly said that she held a small concert before; back then, she felt very nervous. If she were to collaborate with Ram, it would be held at the Coliseum, and the pressure would be even greater. Ram said that holding a show in Hong Kong is a lot of pressure, laughingly saying that he would consider again after completing stage performances in the US and Canada, and also said that he has been frequently practicing singing recently. When asked whether there were any singers who have requested songs from him, he said, "I will take the initiative to write for the singers whom I would like to give songs to. In my heart, there are a few candidates, but it hasn't come to fruition, so will not say, or else it would be very awkward".
Ram revealed that there are many money-making shows inviting the two of them to attend, but had to reject a lot because he has to go to Mainland at the end of the month to film a series. Everything cannot be about making money...must have principles.

Ram Chiang Has Not Considered Returning to the Music Industry

Ram Chiang appeared at a radio station to accept an interview. He, whose popularity has surged recently due to his new series, frankly said that his workload has increased. When asked whether he would strike while the iron is hot by returning to the music industry, he said, "Not yet. Wait for everything to return to calmness before considering it". He also revealed that the company that Julian Cheung belongs to has contacted him.

Regarding the lyrics for 《相逢何必曾燒衣》, Wong Cho Lam said, "The scriptwriters and I just came up with the first two phrases. Afterward, it was all written by Ram himself". Ram said that he used a half hour to rewrite the lyrics.
