On New Year's Eve, the four sisters from the classic series "I Have a Date with Spring, Sheren Tang, Joey Meng, Kiki Sheung, and Erica Choi, reunited on stage for the first time in 30 years on Shanghai's Dragon TV, dressed in classic gowns that were reminiscent of their 1990s series. They each sang 《你你你為了愛情》, 《As Time Goes By》, 《梅蘭梅蘭我愛你》, and 《不了情》. Lastly, they sang 《我和春天有個約會》 together. The level of nostagia skyrocketed.
Overwhelmed with emotion at the reunion, Sheren could not help but shed tears: "Really never even dreamed that the four of us sisters could reunite after 30 years. Back then, the series just happened to premiere in Shanghai, and now, we have met again here. Fate is really too marvelous for words". Sheren's sentiments echoed everyone's thoughts. Joey expressed, "The most unforgettable thing is that the four of us sisters are able to sing and dance together after 30 years. Many scenes sprang up once [I] stepped onto the stage, like returning to the time at 「麗花皇宮」". Even without rehearsals, their impromptu rendition of 《家家有本難唸的經》 on stage was still full of chemistry, and the original hand gesture dance has become popular again.

The Making of "Shadow of Justice"
"Shadow of Justice" Theme Song MV Preview
"Right or Wrong" - Fred Cheng

Partner Does Not Have to Be 'Fresh Meat': Most Important for Joey Meng to Have the Feeling
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Joey Meng and Bobby Au Yeung had an opportunity to collaborate last year; however, because Bobby had a schedule conflict, he pulled out of "Officer Geomancer", but Joey still had to encounter Bobby.
A Match Made in Heaven with Bobby
Joey laughingly said, "Collaborating with Bobby for the first time, very fun to face him every day. Basically feel that we are a match made in heaven. All in all, smiling every day...very happy. He is more easy-going than I thought. Although there is a part of him that is like a kid, in reality, he is quite a big man, and is very gentlemanly. For example, he would pull out your chair for you when eating, and during interviews, he would sit on the side, and the women would sit in the centre, making people feel that he is very manly...very different from his usual grin. I think everything is fate. Previously could not battle in acting because he had a schedule conflict...then really collaborating in 'With or Without You'.
Having Sparks and Mutual Care
Joey laughingly said that, in her eyes, Bobby and Roger Kwok are both kids, but perhaps it is because Roger is already a father, so there is a daddy feeling...looks exactly like the 'Compendium of Materia Medica'. In contrast, Bobby is really a kid...need to pay attention to his words to know whether he is speaking the truth or not. This is the greatest difference between the two of them. Did she ever get deceived? Joey said, "Bobby loves to talk nonsense...appears true but actually wrong, but not to the point of being daring enough to deceive me. Since we are partners, have to take care of one another. If he were to deceive me, see if he has better days!"
Like to collaborate with this level of actors, and do not want to partner with 'fresh meat' actors? Joey said, "Not related. In the series, have a very good relationship with Vincent Wong. Previously, Vincent played my younger brother in 'A Change of Heart'. At that time, already started calling me 'elder sister'. He and Bobby have many scenes. Sometimes, I am not on set; on the next day or two, he would talk to me about the filming situation, and ask me for my opinion. Bobby would also discuss the script with me. We are like a family. Whether the collaboration is happy is not related to age or level. The most important is that everyone cherishes one another, and is very matched in doing something...naturally have that feeling such that there are a lot sparks and the feeling of mutually caring about one another".
Anticipates Partnering Roger Kwok Again
Afterward, will be collaborating with Roger Kwok again on Producer Lam Chi Wah's new series, "Fatal Resurrection", portraying a married couple in the series. Joey does not feel that it is always only the few male partners, saying that Roger is simply the one she has collaborated with more. The "Inbound Troubles" series definitely had to have Roger. Really anticipating seriously collaborating once.
One Series Per Year; Not Accepting, Then Accepting
The storyline of "Fatal Resurrection" is rumoured to rather heavy? Joey said, "The storyline has many twists and turns. We will have a lot of inner conflict, gradually revealing what previously happened to Roger". Like to film laughing or crying series? "Of course, after filming laughing, want to film a serious one. Also want to try other genres. Not regulating myself about what I want to do, as it actually doesn't matter! Temporarily maintaining filming one series per year, but also said this before. In the end, also accepted. This is not related to anyone because there are different reasons, such as a good partner, a good producer, a good role, etc. There is always one thing that captivates you; it's just that I did not think about whether my stamina could handle it at that time. Only knew that it was very strenuous after completing filming. Really could not work in a compact manner, so I had to stop and then come again! (Have you rested enough?) Now, the physical ability is enough".

"With or Without You" Opening Theme Video
"I Am Not Good" - Linda Chung
Jin Nakamura
Johnny Yim

"Inbound Troubles II" Completion Banquet
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
The final scene of "Inbound Troubles II" was filmed at a theme park, and a completion banquet was held afterward.
Wong Cho Lam expressed that Roger Kwok has gone to the location he got married at back then to perform another wedding, while he himself is only a relative in the series. Cho Lam revealed that he will film an imitation programme after completing this series: "Would also fight for this series to release during the anniversary. There are many competitors! (Which one?) Many. Everyone wants to be the anniversary series, but temporarily looking at various promotional things, and whether public opinion can be handled".
Regarding Cho Lam wanting to fight for this series to be an anniversary series, Roger and Joey Meng expressed that they definitely support it. When asked what competitors they knew were fighting to be an anniversary series, although knowing that the schedule has already been set, Roger laughingly said that "Black Heart White Soul", which he has a part in, is a competitor, while Joey laughingly said that her "Officer Geomancer" is also a competitor.
Personal Note: Wow! Roger said that the people who were dressed up as Mickey and Minnie were the same from when he got married eight years ago!

Wong Cho Lam Persuading Kay Tse to Film Series to 'Get Revenge'
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Wong Cho Lam, Joey Meng, Bob Lam, May Chan, Kaki Leung, etc. were in Tseung Kwan O TVB City filming the new series "Inbound Troubles II".
Cho Lam expressed that, this time, the company has spent close to a million to build a supermarket filming set. Not only real food and fruits have been used, but even the cash register and the cooler are real. There are 80 scenes filmed in the supermarket set. This day of filming was about them shopping for discounted items in the supermarket.
Cho Lam also revealed not have many scenes with girlfriend Leanne Li in the series: "The script is written by me. Leanne mainly has scenes with Louis Cheung. (Do the two have any intimate scenes?) Well, I will not arrange it like that because they already had a kiss scene when previously filming 'Black Heart White Soul'. I have to actively persuade Kay Tse to film series...kiss her back".
May's look in the series was teased by Cho Lam for resembling Cheon Song Yi, but she denied imitating her, laughingly saying that she wanted to imitate Vivian Chow. She, who was wearing a wig that was close to $10,000, revealed having many looks in the series, including a palace look.
May has given her first onscreen kiss to Bob this time to film this series. She said, "Afterward, will also have a bed scene with Bob. Very worried...don't know what clothes to wear. Previously, Bob obtained by onscreen and real-life first kiss; however, after the kiss, I really wanted to say, 'Next time, give me a better one. Thanks!'" She also does not understand why Cho Lam had to write three pages of the script for a bed scene.
Bob said that there are two scenes in which he is really anticipating. One is a kiss scene with Joey, while the other is a bed scene with May.
Cho Lam laughingly said, "I persuaded May for a long time. The bed scenes will not be overdone. May is like Linda Chung...a healthy sexiness".
Joey expressed that her character in the series faints easily, and also does not have self-confidence. Joey expressed that Bob portrays her boyfriend in the series, so the two will have a kiss scene, but May steals him afterward. She laughingly said, "He said that my waist is absurd; this phrase was added in by Bob himself". She and Roger Kwok will also have a kiss scene this time. When asked what was her husband's opinion, Joey said, "My husband asked me how Bob and I were going to kiss. I answered that, once Bob kisses me, I will cry".
Personal Note: When TVBE visited this set earlier, the name of the supermarket was revealed to be 「優富」 (which sounds like 'pulling up pants'), and there was also a brand called 「霧牌」 (which sounds like 'counterfeit')! :P
Pretty convenient for the cast to have access to food while filming in a 'supermarket'! ;)
Can't wait to watch this series...hope that it makes it in time for this year's awards presentation!

Joey Meng Not Meaty: Despised by Bob Lam
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
The night before, Joey Meng, Bob Lam, and May Chan were filming the new series "Inbound Troubles II" dressed up as Tony Leung and 'Fat and Skinny Maggie Cheung' in the movie "In the Mood for Love". Joey, who was wearing a tight-fitted qi pao, revealed that, in order to wear the costume, she did not dare to eat: "This qi pao is really tight. Wore it immediately after trying it on. Did not even eat...will eat after completing filming".
Regarding being despised by Bob in this series, Joey laughingly said that it was very fun: "The storyline is about Bob and May being discovered by me when having an affair in the middle of the night. Afterward, Bob gets upset, despising my figure for being 'absurd', so he wants to break up with me...very funny and very fun. (Have a kiss scene with Bob?) As long as he is serious when kissing, then I can handle it...don't fool around to make me laugh. (Husband complained?) Would not! (Do you have any bed scenes with male lead Roger Kwok?) When the mood comes, let's see!"
Obtains First Onscreen Kiss
May appeared in a qi pao and two-inch heels. Every time the cameras stopped rolled, she kept saying that her feet hurt and had to change her shoes, even having to put tissue to ground to end the matter on one occasion. She, who wore a qi pao for the first time, frankly said that she could not breathe: "When I had a fitting, I told everyone that I lost 20 pounds. In the end, a smaller qi pao was made, so now I have to wear a girdle in order for it to work. Can't even breathe, and the buttons keep popping out". Bob, who was on the side, immediately praised her for being hot: "I'm getting a nosebleed from seeing her. Her qi pao look makes the guys smitten with her!"
When it was mentioned that Bob is fortunate to be caught in between the 'Fat and Skinny Maggie Cheung', he laughingly said that he obtained May's 'first kiss': "She gave her precious onscreen and real-life first kiss to me!" After hearing this, May immediately complained, "I don't care whom it is with. All in all, must kiss better for the next one".
Personal Note: Ha ha.... "In the Mood for Love" again?! This movie was just parodied in "Queen Divas"! :P

Joey Meng Values Relationships: Shares $10,000 Prize Money
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Artiste Joey Meng attended a pre-anniversary event, competing with Wayne Lai in a balloon popping game. In the end, Joey won $10,000 in cash, and said that she would share the prize money with the artistes who supported her to win. Before, Joey was already full of confidence before the game, and laughingly said that she would try her best: "Because I am very afraid of things that will pop. (The thing you care the most for is money?) I only found out today that the game was played like this. Don't say it like that. People who know me know that I value relationships". Joey said that she does not know which anniversary segment she would be taking part in. When asked whether she would be dressing sexily to push ratings, she laughingly said, "Will not...don't even think of it. (You are very playful?) Okay...I am an active person".
Personal Note: Congratulations to Joey for winning the $10,000 draw! :)

Personal Note: Congratulations to Joey for winning the $10,000 draw! :)

Joey Meng Films First MV for Louis Cheung
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
The other day, singer Louis Cheung filmed an MV for his new song, 《離人淚》, and invited Joey Meng, whom he became friends with because of filming series, to be the female lead. Louis said, "I know she is very busy. When I asked her, she immediately agreed to it...even had to film the entire night". To accommodate the MV, the staff members found a vintage clothing shop to lend an embroidered dress for Joey to wear. Louis also wore Italian handmade leather shoes, in which there are only 160 in Hong Kong.
The male and female leads in the MV's story are people from the '20s; thus, Louis and Joey had to be very reserved when performing the romantic scenes. The hand-holding was not overdone, and the hand-holding shot was even filmed scene by scene in slow motion. However, the two professionals did it in one take. Joey, who filmed her first MV for Louis, said, "It's only my first time filming an MV. The process was very happy. Hope to have more opportunities in the future".
Personal Note: Looking forward to the MV!

Johnson Lee Substitutes for Bobby Au Yeung: Becomes the Lead
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
The new series "Ox Head Loves to Match with Horse Mouth" was originally Joey Meng collaborating with Bobby Au Yeung for the first time. Other partners include Johnson Lee, Mak Ling Ling, Harriet Yeung, etc. However, Nelson Cheung said that, because of a schedule problem, Bobby has pulled out, saying that there was a schedule clash with a Mainland series he accepted earlier. This series was originally scheduled to begin filming on November 15th...a total of 20 episodes rushing to complete before the new year. To avoid affecting the progress, the screen time has been changed in the end so that Johnson is the first male lead. Oscar Leung has been found to be the other male lead. There are not many changes with the other candidates. When Joey was asked whether she felt that it was unfortunate to not be able to collaborate with Bobby, she said over the phone: "Cannot do anything, since there is a schedule clash. There will definitely be an opportunity to collaborate! Actually, I haven't collaborated with many people in TVB yet. There would be sparks with anyone I collaborate with".

Personal Note: Such a pity...was looking forward to Bobby and Joey's collaboration.
I guess Oscar Leung is taking Johnson's original role.

Joey Meng Loses Wedding Ring: Husband Gives Another
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Joey Meng lost her wedding ring earlier. In the past, she also lost precious accessories, such as earrings, watches, etc. The wedding ring has commemorative value. Although it is unfortunate, she easily let it go. She said, "These are things. Still have to continue to live. I already tried my best to cherish my wedding ring. Typically, my mother looks after my precious things". Joey said that her husband did not blame her for losing her wedding ring, and also told her to go choose another ring. She said, "I told him to not buy things for me anymore to avoid giving me too much pressure. Actually, my husband, family, and friends being by my side is what's important; thus, I don't feel bad".
Personal Note: Absent-minded Joey! :P
At first glance, thought that Joey cut her hair short!

"Inbound Troubles II" Filming Sales Presentation
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Roger Kwok, Joey Meng, and Angela Tong were in TVB City filming a Sales Presentation clip for the second installment of "Inbound Troubles". When talking about the content this time, they said everything has been handled over to Wong Cho Lam to create. Roger expressed that it is an entirely new story...will have a surprise. He portrays a very special character...is a real-life character from the lower-middle class. The challenge greatly exceeds 'Ah Wong' from back then...has a refined and a despicable side...viewers will watch it happily. Will he provide opinions? He said that he absolutely respects the creation...have confidence in Cho Lam. Roger said, "This person is not fictional...is living and existing. Really very surprising!" Roger insisted on not saying too much...leave it to next year's fitting!
Joey revealed that her character this time is a big transformation from the first installment. Cho Lam also said that, apart from having partnering scenes with Roger, also arranging an unexpected partner for her, making her greatly anticipating it.
Angela said that she does not know what her character is like yet.
Personal Note: Roger playing a real-life character?

Joey Meng @ Tudou Interview
Regarding Nelson Cheung's upcoming series, which will film in the fall, Joey said that it should be a happy modern series with Bobby Au Yeung.
Personal Note: Didn't expect that Bobby would be filming this! Hope that he and Joey will create some new sparks! :D
Guessing that it'll be 20 episodes....
Vincent Wong has been in a few of Nelson's recent series...would like to see him take part as well.
